((Since Hiru is now out of the context of the jutsu training, resting goes back to the basic rule. Didn't know rest posts could be shorter than training posts though!
Hp: 10% con mod per turn (minimum +1 Hp)
Cp: 10% chakra mod per turn. (minimum +1 Cp)
When resting, you need to make a proper post, with three to four lines. You cannot train when resting unless it's mental training. ))
Rest post: +10% Cp = +1 Cp
Hiru watched as his friends seemed to be hard at work mastering the henge no jutsu. They all seemed so determined, he actually hoped they would all be on the same squad one day, even though he knew this was impossible

What troubled him a bit was that Cassie-sensei now seemed so focused on the other children that she barely even noticed Hiru, only waiting for some form of appraisal or encouragement. He just stayed there, waiting for her attention to divert back to him.

Hiru was getting a bit impatient and tugged her sleeve a bit less discretely, hoping this would make her snap out of whatever state she was in. Cassie-sensei was either an extremely devoted teacher or had slightly schizophrenic tendancies. Either way, Hiru thought she was pretty cool!

While waiting for an answer, Hiru turned to the rest of the class. Batosai and the snake kid seemed to be looking at him a bit strangely... Hiru thought it was because of his cuts and bruises so he got a bit shy and turned away, this way they wouldn't have to witness such a gross spectacle.

Hiru saw that Cassie-sensei was not about to notice him, so he decided he wasn't going to waste the time it took for her to finish monitoring the other kids' training. Since he had recovered a little bit of his chakra, he thought he'd try molding it a bit like Midori seemed to be doing at her desk. The training seemed pretty hard when he did it yesterday and it sure wasn't getting any easier!

Hiru focused his chakra into his hand and was starting to be able to make it shift into subtle drops of water. It seemed a lot more like condensation at first, but still, it was a step forward. He thought chakra moulding was a pretty fun exercise. Maybe not as much as swimming of course, but still, it was stimulating. He liked the things he could now do with his chakra and was thrilled at the idea of learning new jutsus.

Even though Hiru was thrilled with this training, what he really wanted so bad was to learn another jutsu. His attention was therefore converted mostly to Cassie-sensei who seemed completely oblivious to his presence, and barely any was left to training. Hiru therefore tried molding the blue chakra emanating from his hand, but he could barely do anything with it and it eventually faded away...

Hiru once again had to realize he'd be on his own for a while. He turned back to his hands and started getting very good focus on them again. Blue chakra started flowing for his palms, like steam over a hot soup, and the a chakra fish seemed to leap from on hand , and disappear in the other. Hiru giggled when he saw it, even though he was the one who had just made it up.

Hiru was so thrilled about his little chakra fishes he got carried away and tried making a whole school of them jump from one of his plam to the other. This was clearly overdoing it though since nothing that came out of his energy focus seemed remotely close to being a fish and vanished in an instant. Hiru quickly hid his hands, and looked left and right, hoping no one had noticed...

[I was just pointing out what I noticed. I find it funny that Hiru keeps getting the upper hand on us for now. Our genin teams will be interesting if this is how we're starting off lol]
The scorpion transfiguration took its toll and now Kiketsu had to recuperate. Lime pupils checked on the girl of the class. He was curious to see her progress. The girl seemed to be getting frustrated, but was slowly making progress. Although the look she just gave the snake like child was not welcoming. His lips were going to say something, but Kiketsu decided to hold his words. She needed to concentrate. Batosai and Hiru were also resting. It seemed like a rest period for them all.
The ghost colored boy began to wonder where the other students were. He expected to see at least one more person, but no other appeared. His mind thought the dark haired child with the lightning symbols on his pants to arrive. The youth also pondered on what the other students would be like. The ones here were quite the cast.

Midori was growing largely frustrated as she went for another try and failed. She slammed her hand against the desk and growled fiercely. She snarled a bit more and hit her head against the desk too. She hated being the last person to finish up tasks. It made her feel impaired which she began to think she was. "Maybe I should have my brain checked over. . ." Midori thought as she crushed the rocks again.

Hiru tried to apply the basics of henge and bunshin together in a single move. This was probably pretty basic but he had never tried it before. Hiru watched Kaisou for a while and started focusing chakra. The strain was bit more important since he was not focusinf it on a part of his body this time but on another location space, right in front of him on his desk. Chakra was gathering, and an image was forming.

Kaisou who was standing on Hiru's desk at the moment took a leap away when it noticed some sort of light was gathering next to him. Slowly, the image became clearer and clearer and a perfect mirror image of himself appeared next to him. Hiru smiled when he saw his pet's reaction. He started turning around it, trying to analyze what the thing that surprised actually was.
DC = 12 + 4 = pass

After a few giggles, Hiru made the image climb on his arm and run over his shoulders and on his head. Hiru had to keep a steady control over the chakra as it moved at different locations on his upper body. This was probably the way to walk on water or on walls, but that was going to be for later. Kaisou eventually followed his mirror image on Hiru's head, but as he tried to push it off, he went right through it and fell back on the desk.

Hiru then moulded the chakra from the squirrel image into some sort of fish. It took a few seconds but he pulled off the change perfectly, without the image dissapearing for one second. The fish wasn't the most gracious thing you would have ever seen but it was a very realistic one nevertheless. It flipped and flopped all the way to the ground and dissapeared on contact.

Next step Hiru wanted to try was making an image that would not be in contact with the ground. He started moulding some chakra over his hand, instead of on it. The figure started out somewhat blurry, but slowly transformed into a beautiful bird, full of colors. You could clearly see that Hiru had a bit more trouble maintaing this image than he had with the Kaisou replica though.

Batosai relaxed more into his seat and he observed the others. He first seen Hiru improving on his training while he was here doing nothing due to the exhaustion of his body. "I'm so going to kill that kid when this class is over." he thought as Hiru's accomplishments was starting to get to him. As he falling behind Hiru seems to be ahead of the class. He then turned to see Midori train very hard but failing. This somewhat amused Batosai as he and Kiketsu wasn't the only ones with problems when coming to training.

He turned his attention over to Kiketsu as he seemed to be getting exhausted from the training. This made Batosai felt a little good inside as he now knew that he wasn't the only one who was pushing themselves to the limits. Feeling this as a opportune moment, he stood up from his seat. He would try to get as far in his training as he could before Kiketsu could recover from the training.
Batosai skipped taking deep breaths as he wanted to start training as much as possible. Without hesitation, he begun to perform handseals without trying to focus. As he finished the handseals he couldn't gather up much chakra. It felt like his body was one fire from trying to gather his chakra.

Failing gathering chakra kinda hit that certain nerves of Batosai's that makes wanting to kill someone. But in the end he learned that there are certain things he needed to work on. Such as building up his chakra and etc. This time, as he gives it another go at it, took a few deep breaths to get oxygen into his lungs. Once feeling ready and focused, he begun to perform the handseals. Upon finishing the handseals, he tried to gather as much chakra as he could. But his attempt was in vain, even as he got so close to completing the jutsu.

Hiru noticed Batosai looking at him from his desk as he was resting. Hiru waved at him with a big smile on his face and sent his bird flying over his head. Hiru used this opportunity to slowly start trying to increase the distance between himself and the chakra constructs. The bird flew circles around the classroom, even doing a few tricks along the way and then landed right on Hiru's shoulder before vanishing.
DC = 1 = fail
Hiru wanted to try something new, create to constructs at the same time inside his hands and have them move differently. He focused on his hands and managed to make two characters appear. Only problem was, they really barely looked like anything, only two little diffuse masses of chakra barely humanoid in form. Hiru waved his hands to dissipate his chakra and decided to give it another try.

Even though he got so close to finishing the jutsu, Batosai wasn't going to give up. "I got to catch up to the others. I need to get stronger for me and the others." he thought as he expressed himself in a way he never seen before. The feeling was somewhat strange to him as he put his priorities before others. Ignoring the feeling, Batosai took deep breaths to focus on his training then how he was feeling. Feeling ready, he started to perform the handseals flawlessly. As he finshed, he immediatly felt chakra surging throughout his body, like a tsunami. "This is enough chakra needed." Batosai thought to himself. "Henge no Jutsu!!" Batosai shouted as he felt the chakra rapidly moving throughout his body.

Smoke suddenly bursted from nowhere like a bomb. The smoke instantly engulfed Batosai and surrounded everything around him. As it faded away, there stood a chair that looked similar to the other one just a few feet away. It stood like that for a few moments as it seemed to be motionless. Then smoke burst away and engulfed the chairs. When it faded Batosai stood there with one of the chairs from before.
Batosai took a quick moment to rest and he planted himself in the chair. He felt a little relived as he finally got it right after failing to do so and wasting so much of his chakra from his previous attempts. "I just need one more and I'm done." he mumbled as he was too exhausted to speak louder. He continue to sit there was he need to gain some of his strength back, just enough to try it one more time.

Hiru gave it another shot, and this time, it was nearly perfect. In his palm he created a perfect copy of Batosai, and in his other, one of Kiketsu. He managed to give them different combat stances and make them fight completely differently one gainst the other. They kicked and punched and eventually Hiru simply closed his palms and the two figures vanished. Hiru smiled and looked around to see if anyone had noticed, saly, it didn't seem like it...
Hiru had completed both trainings Cassie-sensei had assigned the class and he really wanted her to know it, probably to get some form of congratulations from his favorite sensei.
"Cassie-sensei, did you see! I'm done with chakra moulding too now!", he said, pulling on her sleeve again.

Batosai took a few deep breaths as he tried to muster as much strength as he possibly could. "This is going to take everything out of me. I only got one shot at this, so I got to get it right." he thought as he tried to focus. Feeling ready, he begun to perform the handseals flawlessly. As he finished the handseals, he gathered almost every ounce of his chakra for one shot to finish. "Henge no Jutsu!!"
In an instant, smoke bursted from beneath Batosai's feet and engulfed him like fire. It took little time to fade away, but once it did there was two identical chair just only a few feet from each other. Nothing seemed to happened for the last minute or so. Then the smoke returned and engulfed one of the chairs as once it faded away Batosai stood there. He then sat down in his chair as he need to rest for sometime from that. He let out a small grin as he finally finished part of his training.

Once rested Kiketsu had gotten up to do another transformation. His mind was already set on what he would try to transform into. The only thing was to accomplish the deed. His chakra slowly flowed around him as the boy prepared for the change in appearance. Unfortunately just before he made that last click in his energy and mind to set the ignition for the jutsu a loud bang was heard in that disrupted his rhythm. This in turn made him force too little chakra making his attempt a failure.
The boy glowered back at the origin of the noise. It appeared that Midori had banged her head on a desk hard enough that the noise vibrated through the room. Her troubles were beginning to affect his training. Feeling the drain of energy Kiketsu felt he needed to rest again. It was becoming annoying to rest after each attempt. The white hair girl was not helping either. It seems she was becoming quite the troublesome person towards his education.
Henge no Jutsu:
Part I:
Roll a 1d20. You must get an 11 or higher to successfully complete hand seal and transform into a crude image of an object. You must successfully attempt this 5 times.
Cp:2-1=1
Train: 4/5
Experience: +4
If a student successfully performed the jutsu, he was awarded +1 Experience and -2Cp. If a student failed an attempt, he would lose -1Cp. To regain Cp they had to rest for one post to gain back +2Cp.

Midori got over her quick frustrations and went for another try, once again failing. She banged her head against her desk. "This is pure torture. Pure torture. . ." Midori thought as she did a face-palm. This was getting annoying. She wondered though, how her sister was doing. Probably better than her. She also wondered what torture her sister had gone through in the academy.
