Kai just nodded along with Franki's talking. He had not heard about Ran or La Mort. He knew there was some sort of evil force that they, as card captors, were fighting. He never thought to question who exactly. "I see," was all he said.

BlueSeaDragoon He eeped slightly sweatdropping. Maybe he said something he shouldn't have and glanced over at Hyozan slightly before looking at Sui. "Eh...are you always...like..um very energetic?"

Kishi ::sighing slightly:: that doesn't really explain a whole lot... and i'm sure she's around somewhere... anyway, Kai, the one that we're trying to keep from getting the cards is La Mort, like Kishi said... apparently he's this big baddie...

He rolled his eyes... you don't know Veeta! I'm horrified to now her.. I'd rather spend all day watch Pyralis and Remmy be all cutsey with each other than be in Veetas presence for 5 seconds! The girl is an AIR-HEAD! And LaMort is your enemy!! Not some random bully.. he's powerful and ruthless.. you need to be prepared and not just brush him off!"

lighten up, Kishi! if we're all tense and serious all the time by the time we have to fight we'll be too tired to do anything! i'm not brushing him off, and no matter what anyone who wants to lord over you is a bully... just diffrent depths, that's all...

Kai nodded along with the both of them. I guess this is not going to be as easy I thought he found himself thinking. They soon arrived at their destination. "Well, this is my house," he announced as he stopped walking. "Do you two want to come in. Wanda said she was going to make some cookies today. It can be a thank you for walking with me," he asked softly.

A smile grew on Kai's face after Franki accepted his invitation. He leads them to the front door. "Oh, Wanda's our cook. She's a real nice lady," he said, retrieving the key to the door from his pocket. "Her cookies are the best. You'll really like them," he continued, unlocking and opening the door. He then stepped aside allowing Franki and Kishi to enter first, before entering himself, shutting the door behind him. "This way," Kai said, leading them to the kitchen.

::during the walk, she had kept Kishi's hand in hers and her arm around Kai's shoulders, more for a guide than anything else. when she felt him pull away she let Kishi lead her into the house then put a light hand on Kai's shoulder as he lead them into the house, saying chipperly:: hope ya don't mind...

Kai gently shook his head. "No, it's alright," he replied. Once he got them into the kitchen, he gently removed Franki's hand in order to be free to get the stuff around. He reaches in the cupboard for three glasses and fills milk from the fridge in them. He then looks inside the cookie jar and spots the freshly baked goods. Kai carefully places a couple on a napkin. "Here you go," he said, placing both glass and napkin each infront of Franki and Kishi. "I hope you like them!"

::tugging a silent Kishi into a chair, she smiles at Kai:; smells delish... ::carefully sitting before trying a bit of the cookie:: mm... it's as good as it smells... give my compliments to Wanda ::cheerfully:: you gonna sit too? ::she hadn't heard him sit down::

"Told you they were good," Kai nodded. He then blinked after he was asked to sit. "Well, I was just making sure everyone was set before I took my seat. I don't want to be getting up and down," he stated. He then takes his seat and starts to enjoy his snack.

Kishi sat in the chair that Franki practically pushed him into and now stared at the cookies and milk in front of them. He'd seen many a human child eat these cookie things... and go crazy when they couldn' have one. He wasn't so sure he wanted to eat something that caused such insanity. As for the milk.... well.... have you ever seen a raven drink milk? No? Me neither.. I guess there's a first for everything.. since Kishi DID sip at it. He did nod politely to Kai in thanks for... the snack. It showed good manners at least.. but he supposed the kid wasn't too bad... he'd grow a backbone soon enough!

::unaware of Kishi's polite nod, only that he had sat, she nods in understanding to what Kai said:: i know what you mean... meals at home tend to only start when all the food's on the table, no one's allowed to sit until then at least... otherwise we're all up and down and walking into each other :;she makes a face::

A small yawn escaped from Glory. She began to stirr while giving a yawn. She rubbed her eyes. Wondering if she missed anything important. She blinks in confusion as to what was going on. She knew she was at Remmy's house....but where did everyone go?
