Edith had a major headache, she was focusing from person to person and now her powers were doing so as well, allowing her to listen into their thoughts even if she did not want to or didn't care. When she focused upon Joey to listen to what he was saying, she received some of his thoughts and she gasped aloud. She was a vampire, there was no way that she could be pregnant. Yet, if Joey thought it as a possibility, there was a spur of hope. She could barely contain her excitement, if this was the case then there would be all the much more reason for her and Tokeru to be together.
"Angel," she said, containing her excitement though smiling as she said so since he'd still be under the impression that she was smiling about their recent engagement, "I need to go to haven so I'll redevous with you." She wanted to get herself tested ASAP and she only trusted Gail for it. Gail had taken care of her before, looked out for her, and was a great woman that Edith trusted.
When the lycan came up and randomly thanked them, she was kind of confused as to why. However, she'd remembered that Tokeru had gotten the lycan's car fixed. Edith had seen to it that it had been fixed. "You're welcome," she said with a smile, "Tokeru's a jerk but he can be nice, sometimes. He needs to work on his people and non-people skills, no offense to vampires, lycans, tainted, or anything."

Tokeru looked at her, concern in his eyes. "Well, in case we aren't here anymore, just go look at the IT building in the city, theres a big sign, so you can't miss it, but i have to take care of a few things here first, as well as see if there are any open tunnels left that aren't crowded with rubble. Take care of yourself, my wife."
He wasn't sure if he used it right, he had never been engaged before, he kissed her on the forehead and hugged her, completly oblivious to how her stomach looked.

Aria was annoyed. Tokeru could have atleast asked for her name, she wasn't going to take it so she turned on her heel and stormed off. "I'M NOT GOING TO BE TREATED LIKE..." she hissed and then stopped. "Joey come if you want I don't care! Let these Shadow Stalkers get bombed the hell out of them! I won't even tell them when the next attack is coming!" she growled and continued out of theabandoned tunnel where everyone was.

Mercedes smiled at Edith. "I assume you were behind it..getting my car fixed, I mean. Thank you." She smiled warmly. Her green orbs glanced to Tokeru as he addressed the woman as his wife. That explained a lot of why he fixed her car. He was married to a sweet woman.
"So, why is everyone congregating here?" Her eyes flashed as Aria started yelling and stormed off. She was starting to believe a lot of people here had short fuses.

She turned around and looked back realising she had overreacted but...damnit! If Joey was going to say that she wasn't scum then why had everyone treated her like it?! She turned back and sat up against a wall.

Tokeru nodded at Mercedes. "It was the least I could do. I did overreact a little bit, i was just a little stressed."
He realized he had been ignoring Aria, or atleast that's what joey said her name was. "Aria is it? I appreciate your offer, and thank you for the information, may I ask how you and Joey got together?"

Edith could sense his concern, but she did not want him to worry about her, yet she was not sure she should tell him her reason for going. "Well," she said, "I would leave, but you're squishing me." She laughed then said, "I'm going because I think .... I might be ... pregnant ..."

Mercedes nodded. "It's okay. I accept your apology." As Tokeru spoke to Aria she noted the name. She'd been wondering that since the night she'd met her.
She heard the soft voice of Edith saying she was pregnant. Her eyes went wide. It was a good thing she didn't say anything. She'd almost asked her how far along she was. Smiling at the woman, she shoved her hands in her pockets thinking she should leave the two alone.
"Well...congratulations you two. I mean, if it's positive that you are, which I'm thinking it is. I'm a healer, but I was trained to take care of my pack, that included pregnancies. When I saw you I thought you looked pregnant."

Joey heard what Edith said and froze, yet he wanted to slap himself in the face for giving it away. "Umm...Eden.....you're a psycic vampire....aren't you.." he said in a monotone voice.

Tokeru kept hugging her, and smiled as she said she was pregnant. "Well thats excellent." he said, and then smiled at Mercedes, and then it registered. "WHaat? But how is that possible? You're a vampiress, I mean, who, what, when, How?"
Then realizing that he was acting oddly, and afraid he was giving her the wrong impression, he smiled again. "Are you sure? When did you find out?"
He then hugged her tightly, then immediatly let go, then hugged her again, lighter this time. "Don't get me wrong, i love the idea of having a child with you, but how's it even possible? I mean, technically, you're dead. Wouldn't any chance of having the child be destroyed right there?"
Not wanting to hear what she knew, because he assumed she had no idea. He kissed her deeply, making sure to keep pressure off of her stomach.

((My God, he's an idiot. He's arguing with an OOC post of mine in IC. I've already said it, Simon is practically SOBER, .05 blood alcohol wouldn't affect is motor skills or perception because alcohol ruins judgement first. Bad judgement=pointing guns at allies. It would take less than a second to pull a trigger, and I would bet on the fact that it takes less time to pull a trigger than it does to do what Lezard attempted to do. Please, it wouldn't take long to shoot once hostile movement is sensed.
But, I'm not going to bother with idiots who need reality checks. So, I quit. Simon Pennycook did not exist in the Shadow Stalkers. Bye.))

"He was there when I was looking for Lezard..." she took a shakey calming breath and then took a moment before she spoke again. "B-But my master says you can come and stay." she then added so no one would fill uncomfortable (but it probably still did) "We have human servants so it's not like you are out numbered...actually we would be."

Kim and he four Stalkers moved down the subway tunnel to check for any blockage and to check for hostile. They had almost made it to an underground platform when somone opened fire. Kim and the 4man team
took cover and returned fire.
Kim commed all Stalkers to be careful and that they were under attack near 6th street and Madison, They should be looking the other way for a
way out of the subway
