Malik smiled softly, and let her lead him, acting quite docile and submissive to her. He knew she liked to be in charge sometimes, to have things go her way. And he was going to let her have that. But while he followed, he coudlnt' help but remember that she'd promised to stay this time. no more wadering, no more wanderlust. and she would even confine herself to teh dark, to be with him. he would have to make that up for her. he didn't want to see his fiery piper wither without the sun or moon, or her tall trees and open fields. perhaps a visit to her father sometime would help.

She led them up to their room, closing and locking the doors when they got there...if there was one thing she hated it was having those doors opened by whomever pleased in the whee hours of the morning. Disturbed the peace. Armor was taken off by both, followed by clothes, all of it being more or less left where it feel without care to it all. So enough though they were both in bed, Malik on his back, her above him and smiling down at him as she reached up and undid her bandana, letting it fall as it may too as she leaned over him to capture him in a loving kiss that spoke volumes without words. Piper trailed that kiss to his jaw and then his neck, only to go to his ears with tongue and fingertips, for she loved exploiting that weak spot. Yes, she was ready to give up whatever she need to, to be with him. Everything she truly did want she found in Malik, everything she needed. A love that was defiance against all, a bond that was extraordinary in itself. And to think...they were elves...time and life was their's to take in slow stride and savor. "Amin mela lle, Malik."

Moon laughed. His brother might be angry, but Moonstone was just having a blast. He heard the skidding claws, knew that Onyx was catching up. He leapt down the stairs, quite literally.
Onyx was faster, certianly. But Moonstone was no stragner to running from his easier to anger brother. the faster you went the harder it ws to turn corners, which ws demonstrated not just a few moments ago. Once down the stairs he turned left into another hallway, piviting to the right when he found another corner.
"What's wrong Onyx? Can't catch a slow feline, such as myself?" A moments thought. "I bet Malik has popcorn on the rbeakfast table..."
((Note: Zoos often give tourists popcorn to feed the monkeys))

Onyx learned how to get past that too. he'd come ot teh coners, jump at teh wall, and richoet down teh hallway. increase of speed, and no loss of traction form skidding. Oh when he got his hands on his twin he was going to skin him alive. flay him like a new rug...pluck every feather out of his wings like a chicken for cooking...

Moonstones slputtering laughter tripped him up a bit. He couldn't quite keep up with his feet. This being as it was...he flung himself out a winow. Grabbing onto the top of the frame, he used the momentum to throw him upwards, rather than out. Then he scalled the building.
"Come on Onyx, Mother always said to fight outside!"

Oh great! Thought Eliot. the man wanted to talk. But she new nothing of the caslte, or even the people! She didn't want to talk, it was to dangerouse. What if he hurt her? what if She died before she could do anything about the slaves? Ugh! if only he would shut up then she would be fine. Her heart was startign to beat rapidly. She didn't know where she was, they were walking to far, had gone to high to be at ground level, she was sure of it. He was intending to capture her, torture her till she talked she knew it. What was she going to do? Her eyes were washing from grey to yellow and back again. She was losing control of her body.

Warren kept walking. He hadn't bothered to turn to watch the girl, he knew she was following him. She really had wandered far into the castle depths, hadn't she? they were enaring the ground level now. And he kept talking...
"Thisn caslte has beena round for a long time, built long before Dimitri's ancestors. It is a base work for a spell of protection. Though I dare say that age has weekened the seal a little bit. After all, we've been hearing of attacks on some imporant people within the city walls. Things like that haven't happened since the Duegar, the Dark Dwarves, tried to invade. They almost succeded I might add. but a race that does not even trust each other...well in the end we didn;'t even have to fight. Yhey just killed each other off."

Eliot physically calmed herself. She could not loose control of herself when she was in unfamilier company. "Trust..." Eliot said slowly "Trust is a crucial elemant within a community. They may have been a great people." Her own community was centered on trust and loyalty. She still was not sure of this man though. His sent was not throwing off anything overl suspicous (it was reasonable to wonder about a strange woman in the bowles of a castle) but she still did not want to put her guard down.
Her nostrels caught the smell of fresh air and she almost yelped for joy (indeed a small animalistic sound did escaper her thoat), maybe she was not in as much danger as she had thought. She calmed, and took control of her body. Her eyes sparkled grey once more.

Warren stopped talking long enough to push open a wht looked like a pice of solid wall. But just near the entracne to the castle, a panle of the wall open with a bit of a creak. He peaked around to make sure no one was comming, then slipped out, motioning for the girl, Eliot, to follow.
"Ah, here we are now. See? That wasn't so bad." Pitty the sugar trail hadn't worked...maybe a more potent mixture?
"See, no reason to be down in that dank old place, now is there?"

Onyx followed his brother's scent easily enough and out the window, jump, twist, grab the above ledge and spingboard up landing in a crouch, wings flared out and Bode still safely clinging tightly to his neck.
"ready for the beating you are about to receive Moon?"
Malik laid with Piper, her resting overtop of him, her arm draped across and a content, pleased smile on her face. he liked watching her in her sleep...or Reverie, whichever term you wanted to use...sometimes. He brushed so hair from her face, and kissed her forehead lightly. War was coming to thier home. And right now all he wanted was to find a way to make this woman here with him safe from it all, so nothign coudl hurt her. But he knew better than to try and stop her from fighting. that woudl make it a war on two fronts...which brought a small smile.

Piper shifted slightly, giving a soft sigh as she nuzzled his chest. A few more moments of quiet from her before triple colored eyes fluttered open lazily and she nuzzled his chest again. In lazy fashion she tilted her head up to look at him, seeing that he was already awake. Piper gave him a small loving smile, holding quite the sated look about her. Was always a wonderful thing to wake up in his hold, made her feel safe.

"Thank You, for showing me the way out." Eliot glanced around, She knew which direction she would needed to go in order to get back to the forest she was hiding in. She could easily swim across she supposed, she did not want to draw attention to herself by renting another raft. She felt confident once more that she was above ground, the cavern cieling high above her, allowing her to breath
"I will leave now." she replied, and as she stepped away she once more rose her dagger into the palm of her hand.

Moonstone almost fell off of the building laughing. He made it to the rooftop, stumbling over the ledge, trying to regain his composure. He swallowed once, hiccuped.
"Beating? Why, I am stringer than any monkey!"
Warren reached out and caught the girls arm. he wasn;ta bout to let her go so easily. "Look, you don't look like you are froma round here, and frankly you could use a bit of instruction. Deep Water is a complicated place." He liften an eyebrow. "How about you come with me to the Wizen Watch tower?"
He smiled, his blue eyes sparkling like her own grey ones. "I bet you could find many usefull things there." Then in a lower, deeper voice. "They employ slaves there, you know."

Seconds from recieving a dagger impaled to the hilt through his wrist, Warren said the one thing that could have gotten her attention. She stared at his blue eyes, he was more perseptive then he had let on.
"Who Employs them?" She nearly growled out the words, making her words very raspy, and deep. Her Anger was rising, and her eyes flashed

Bingo....
He let his smile slip, closed his eyes and straighten his back, waving a hand. "Oh, him and her, as it were. No one really knows how they get here, or who sends them, they are just always there."
He tugged on her arm, guiding her out of the city. "Come, this way. It's across the water. I'll hire a raft for us." He didn't give her much of a chance to protest. He had his hand on her arm, and well, she couldn't have been able to say no now. He was channling alot of his spiritual energy into her to make her easy to tug along. "this way, this way."
He hired a raft outside, got her on it, and they were safely out in the water before he dared to let go of her.
