By the way, my friend thought this was funny too. She used to like Vincent until her kitty arrived...(by kitty I mean a kid at school named Harrison that she likes rolleyes sweatdrop ) I'll have to agree with Taylor, they don't really look hot together. sweatdrop Not really because I'm homophobic or anything but Cid doesn't seem like that type of person, nor does Vincent.
Yeah. Cid is with me (okay fine but I guess Shera would count). xd Vincent likes Lucrecia. 3nodding Cid and Shera aren't really much of a pair in my opinion. I wonder why Shera hasn't left him. xd (No offense toward Cid, He's one of my best characters 3nodding ) If I were Vincent, I would have just left Lucrecia alone. She must be a real evil person to actually fall in love with Hojo. Plus, Hojo is ugly as all get out. Why does Vincent waste his time with some nutjob who's not even interested in him. I mean seriously, he could get any girl he wanted. xd (almost any girl, that is xp ) Yeah, Cid and Shera don't really seem like the type to start dating one another. Remember Cid's reaction when Cloud said he thought Shera was his wife. It went something along the lines of: "The thought of marrying that woman sends chills down my spine..." I think that says enough on it's own. It's from around the time you first get Cid, after crashing the Tiny Bronco. As for the Vincent and Lucretia thing, it seems that Lucretia cared more about her job than she did about Vincent. She MIGHT have had feelings for him at one point, but she probably thought about how their future might be, and figured that it wouldn't be so great, since Vincent was a TURK (a job with a short life expectancy) and she was a scientist. Hojo, being a fellow scientist, not only shared her interests and views, but also had a steady job, would always be around, and was less likely to get killed than Vincent was, thus making him more appealing than Vincent, in that sense. Hojo was not inherently evil (he was most likely corrupted by JENOVA) at the time, and was probably some normal guy. Lucretia might not have loved Hojo, meaning she probably married him for a more secure future. Remember, Vincent, as a TURK, could end up dead at any given moment, which wouldn't be good for a relationship. Vincent also held different views on certain things, and didn't exactly see eye to eye with Lucrecia all the time. On the subject of human experimentation, I don't thing Vincent really cared so much about the experiments itself more than he cared about WHO the experiments were to be done on. Since it was his beloved Lucrecia who would be experimented on, he disagreed with the project, and tried to prevent it. This of course probably pissed off Lucrecia (and Hojo, most likely) and thus sort of ended any possible relationship the two could have had from then on. Vincent's feelings around this time probably border that of obsession, and he's probably in denial of the rejection he suffered from by Lucrecia's hands. So, as much as he loved her, she probably didn't love him very much, if at all. I personally only thought Vincent and Cid would be friends, like war buddies or something like that, the type that would hang out on the front porch, drinking a beer or two while talking about old times, enjoying one another's company. Usually, if people depict the both of them in a yaoi relationship, it's normally Cid who's dominant. What's really annoying is that they make Cid rather abusive sometimes, and they make Vincent girlier than any female that I've met in real life. eek The both of them are just friends, nothing else. *Note: My mom's new lawnmower (the one's you drive and ride on like a car) is called the "Bronco." Guess what that reminded me of? 'If only I had some cardboard wings and pink paint....'
