No problem (I think), and yes, four fifths is a lot. D:

In other words... You mean that actually 4 Eldar died out of the massive amount of 5... Hurr durr~

Just wondering if any of you Eldar players know how many Eldar there might be on a craftworld? I have always asked myself that question, but I haven't bothered playing Eldar or reading too much about them since I'm more of a Dark Eldar player when it comes to pointy eared panzees.

From what I understand, it should be billions. I imagine a Craftworld is at about the size of Europe, but giant and can take care of itself and all that. You've seen the picture in the 5th ed rulebook of the inside of one of them. I think they're one of those things that are larger beyond imagining.

Anyway, getting on topic. Insane amount of Eldar. Probably billions.

ehhh, prolly not that much, they are a dying race, remember, i would go, about 2 billion MAX per craftworld

I'd say that you're probably sorely understating their populations, RBM. Just because they're a dying race doesn't mean that their numbers are that low. Standard population on imperial planets is in the multiple millions to multiple billions. Craftworlds are incredibly huge, probably dwarfing the size of some planets.

I say about 10 billion for most of them. Iyanden, about 200,000, since A LOT died when Kraken attacked.

But I don't know, so yeah. And I also mean that they are a total of 100 billion left. Something like that. And that they should at least ALLY with the Tau, eh?

it would most likeyly be smart, but i think the Eldar are too arrogant and/or proud to ally with a lesser race

Really, if the Eldar wanted, they could control the Tau. In the book Xenology, its stated that the Eldar created the Etherials. Therefore, the Eldar would be able to overpower the Tau if they wanted.

All the same, have you payed attention to the history on the Eldar? They're just as likely to fight alongside Imperial forces as they are to attack them.

From what I've seen/read/heard they are just trying to stop the galaxy from being destroyed, be it chaos, necrons, tyranid, or the Imperium or the Tau Empire.

It would be funny to see them take over the Tau and put them on a new path. I wonder if there would be a civil war or something...

The Eldar seem to have given up on the Tau and now will engage them in open combat.

On the topic of the Eldar, it'd be damned cool to see an Apocalypse formation with units composed entirely of Exarchs with a single High Exarch or Autarch leading the squad.

that would be the court of the young king, in it is one exarch from each aspect, with squad of course, and an avatar to lead it

I know about the court of the young king. I meant of something like a full squad of Striking Scorpion Exarchs with their full compliment of wargear led by either a Striking Scorpion oriented Autarch or by Karandras.

o, ok, that is diff, hmm, that might not make sense, unless you have multiple craftworlds fighting together

I believe it would make full sense. If someone can field several squads of a single aspect, all with Exarchs, why couldn't they field several Exarchs and a Phoenix Lord?

well, ya, they can, but to me it wouldnt fluff wise, being that an exarch is the ultimate aspect on the path of the warrior, so ya
