Flaming_Ninja_Dragon Oh, I was wondering what kind of thumb rest everyone uses. I've seen some huge ones, like my other cousin's. It slips on the thumb rest and is about 2 cm thick. My clarinet did have one that was glued to the metal part of the thumb rest (it was only like 1 mm thick though,) and in 7th grade band camp it started coming off so I just ripped it off and lived without it. I have a rubber thingy...on mine o_O

Miyoko Clarinetti rofl the hot sauce one I think i'll be the one that is flailing my arms ^_^ rofl xd emo I'm not smart...I'm stupid...and I need to memorize that thing anyways.. wait...okay i'm confuzzled O_o;; i forgot how you find the concert scales on this thing...hm...do you go back one...ughhhhh when you do need it, tell me =D I would probably barf if I actually drank that. I flail my arms when I play. And you are smart, you just don't think it. Most people tend to notice their mistakes where other people wouldn't. Go to Wal-Mart and buy some self-esteem. Major scale to concert scale: down two half steps. I don't know about the circle thingy though. I could use the info whenever.

C major scale=concert Bb scale, not C major scale=concert D scale. ...right? This whole music theory/scales thing is killing me. this happened to me today. Okay, my dad's friend had this Bo staff and a training video, and I thought it would be cool to learn it, so he let me borrow both. Unfortunately, the Staff is 6 feet tall, and the ceiling fan in the living room is only 6.5 feet high. While practicing, I hit myself in the ribs a few times (nothing serious of course), and I think I cracked the light on the ceiling fan. ninja I wish it was a 5 foot staff instead. now, I shall go and attempt to practice it some more without breaking any fragile glass objects. I found out that it wasn't me that cracked the light, it's been there. smile

I'm actually practicing my clarinet pretty often. Maybe three times a week now. I've been neglecting my marching band music for figuring out and playing videogame music and other songs I like. the Mario Bros. Main theme is a great song, but I have trouble on this one group of fast eighth notes. The notes go from G to F# to F to Eb to E in the upper register. No, not the really-high-awkward-fingering notes. I would love to learn how to use any kind of sword. But not that I would carry it or use it very often outside of practice.
