Amagai Genji, the Investigation Team's Gentle Fist "...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."
The demons in and around Junes were thick with their horde, swarming with the realization that the Conception was coming near to its conclusion; their reign upon the earth would either come to an end or endure ever-after. That feeling of chaos, of freedom that filled many of the forces of the two armies that were clashing upon the Earth at their release upon the world was now a threat, and they seemed to be reacting with that in mind. They were getting more violent. Wilder. And the desire to erase and kill and devour as much as they could before it all came to an end had them practically teeming with pent up energy. Mankind would foot the bill for their restless energy, suffer the wrath of the demons who rampaged throughout Inaba, and it was up to those who had the power to wield the demons themselves to prevent the damage from spreading. Even with the war between factions ongoing, the city in ruins, and somewhere out there Soji and Kisa trying to bring this day's challenge to a conclusion, there was still something important left to do for those who were left behind.
Genji and Minori were two of those who were left behind. They were two of the remaining who possessed the power of the Devils and who stood against the rampaging demons in the town of Inaba. Junes was the current epicenter, however, and leaping into the fray at the heart of it had the potential to all go wrong. His hands were swift and skilled, his demons flanking him kept them from being overwhelmed, but the potential for disaster remained at any moment.
"Minori, behind you!" he whirled and stepped past her, striking a demon attacking from behind in the chest with his palm and stalling it long enough for his demon to finish the job. But the fighting was still ongoing. Sweat rolled down his neck as he fought, but he did not stop, did not quit fighting. Right here, right now, it was do or die.
And with Minori's precious life on the line as well as his own...he had no intention of dying.

Ellie Troit Ellie leaned back a bit at this, closing her eyes and thinking of the others... Of the people at the meeting...All who commanded powerful demons..And all fighting for the side of good. It was...really pleasant to think about. That she wasn't alone in trying to restore the world..... And, with a a small chuckle...She went back to what she was doing, feeling ever closer to the people.

And getting diced without question. Youmu eventually sheathed her blade at this, and let out a small sigh. "Mmmm..Nekura! I hope you're keeping track! I'm just over a hundred demons now."
