New guy started today but manager didn't think to raise a ticket with IT to get him set up. So supervisor had to do it yesterday (manager was sick yesterday and today). New guy isn't going to get set up in time to get familiar enough with the system to help me out during month end when supervisor is on mat leave (her last day is this Friday). 
Looks around for; Pain Killers, Excedrin, Pepto, Maalox, Body Bags.... oO;;;

And not only that, while I'm rushing to get the month end stuff, the new guy is going to be sitting with me while I do it so I can't even do it quickly or he won't be able to follow along. AND, I still have a project session in the afternoon after my month end meeting since we (my manager and I) originally said we were free on the 7th. Only now the month end meeting from the afternoon of the 6th is pushed to the morning of the 7th since my manager told corporate that their deadlines were unreasonable. Now I have to rush to get stuff done then have meetings back to back all day on Tuesday. I just hope there aren't too many follow up items coming out of the month end meeting so I can go and focus on the material in the project meeting.

Not much I can do about it but at least my controller cancelled the forecast meeting so I have to do a lot less work in a couple of weeks. The deadlines just weren't realistic for June.

So I was hoping to catch up on some sleep and just relax but someone triggered the security panel in the evening yesterday and it's been beeping non-stop since then.

It hasn't stopped beeping. I'm really hoping property management sends someone to turn it off first thing Monday (tomorrow). I've been sleeping with ear plugs all weekend and it's really uncomfortable and messing up my quality of sleep.  On the upside, I did get around to making lychee coconut sorbet and it turned out right even though it's the first time I made ice cream.
