Reaper nodded and followed the group to the middle of the beach after he made a quick stop in the Aqua Store. On his way back he used a Hyper Potion on Corphish and Snorunt.

Cody caught up to the group, panting as he stopped in front of the water. "Ya know, looking back, I totally could've waited to catch my Milotic now," he thought out loud, shaking his head. Hind sight was always 20/20. Now, though, he had to focus on the present. Clearing the beach was much more important than focusing on something from the past he couldn't fix. He pulled Fraxure's ball from his belt, getting the pokemon ready to fight the next wave of water types.

As Cody pulled Fraxure's ball from his belt, a Cloyster washed ashore, just as angry as the Crawdaunt. The boy tossed his ball into the air, releasing the Dragon type, which quickly rushed at Cloyster with its claws glowing. It slashed once, but Cloyster dodged, firing a blast of ice that hit the Dragon for critical damage at close range.
Fraxure cried out in pain, part of its foot frozen in a block of ice. With its impared movement, Fraxure had little to go on, but managed to summon a large meteor from the sky that landed on its foe, burying it up to the top of its shell in sand. The Water Type struggled its way out and started lobbing razor sharp spears of ice toward the immobile dragon. Just as the ice was about to hit, Fraxure lifted its leg into the air, using the spears to shatter the ice that encapsulated its leg. Fraxure rolled out of the way of most of the icicles, but was still hit by a few.
The pokemon stood up, wobbling on its weak legs and panting from taking so much damage. It was obvious that it was tired. The dragon pokemon switched into over-drive mode as a last ditch effort and launched itself at Cloyster in an outrage, smashing into its shell in a dragonic fury. The hit was enough to crack the foe's shell, sending it flying back into the water where it came from. Cody ran up to his pokemon and hugged it, praising the dragon for such a valiant battle, and returned it before it could get hurt again.

Cody waded into the water to check on the injured Cloyster. As much as he didn't like that the pokemon attacked like it did, a cracked shell could be a life or death situation for a pokemon like that, and he wanted to make sure it was ok. By the time he got out to the point where Cloyster had landed, however, the pokemon had disappeared. Just then, the Aquan felt himself brush by something rough. He decided to get out of the water before something bad happened, but pulled a ball from his belt for safety. Just then, he felt the same brush against his leg, this time more rugged and painful than the last. Cody stumbled out of the water as a wave caught the back of his legs. When he turned around, he stood face to face with a Seadra. The boy tossed his ball in the air and took off onto the beach.

"Sparks, do your stuff!," he called as the Raichu burst from its ball in a flash of light. "Let's start off with a Volt Tackle!" Cody called to his pokemon, pointing his finger at the Seadra. Sparks nodded and got down on all fours, charging her cheeks and readying herself for the attack. She engulfed herself in electricity and took off running toward the water pokemon, smashing into it hard. "It's almost done!" Cody called, congratulating his pokemon, but something wasn't right. Sparks winced as a cut on her leg started to bleed. Obviously Seadra's poison point got to her...[/] Cody thought to himself, watching Seadra blast his pokemon with a strong jet of water. Raichu bounced backwards, but quickly rolled out of the hit, coming back strong with a Thunderbolt. Seadra's body surged with electricity, and it struggled to come back with another attack.
"Alright! Paralyzed!" the boy shouted, grabbing an empty pokeball from his pack. He tossed the ball at the paralyzed foe, watching it as it was absorbed in a red light. The ball dropped to the ground and started to shake. Once. Twice. Three times. Ding Seadra was caught! Cody walked up to pick up the ball, but it disintigrated into the ethernet, being automatically transferred to his PC. "Great job, Sparks," the trainer praised his pokemon as he whipped out her ball. "We'll get you patched up a little later!"

Dark spots an upbeat looking Clauncher. He crosses his arms, as he thinks.
"I wanted a Stayu or Stamie... Something with good coverage..."
The Clauncher looks around, seeming curious about the area.
"But that guy just looks like such a cool Pokemon to have."
Dark walks up to the Pokemon, which prepares for battle.
"He seems a bit wary of people..." Dark sighs and sends out his Rotom.
"Polt, Thunder Wave." Rotom sends out a static wave which paralyzes the shrimp Pokemon. Clauncher then fires a Water Pulse from it's claw, doing more damage than Dark expected.
"... Oh yeah his ability boosts pulse and aura moves. Dark Pulse, Polt!" Dark orders an attack that won't KO the little guy in one shot. Rotom blasts the Clauncher with a Dark Pulse and is then hit with Smack Down. Polt's Levitate ability is no longer in effect.
"Alright, now to catch it!" Dark pulls out a Luxury Ball and tosses it at the Clauncher. The Pokemon is pulled inside and begins to struggle.
Wiggle...Wiggle...Wiggle...Click! ~doo doo doo, doodoo do doodoo doo doo~

"Aw yeah! Can't wait to start raising this little guy!" Dark seems happy at is new catch. He makes his way over to the group as the commotion dies down.

Reaper arrived at the middle section of the beach with everyone else and saw the last wave of Pokemon coming in. He ran over to the side where a Crawdaunt was coming in and sent out his Snorunt to combat it. "Starting to seem more like we're defending Headquarters rather than training." He said to himself before the Crawdaunt came close enough to battle.

~Battle Start~

Wild Crawdaunt began the battle with a powerful Crabhammer attack, charging at Snorunt and smacking it into some near by rocks, dealing moderate to heavy damage to her. "Hang in there Snorunt and use Toxic." Reaper said as Snorunt managed to recover her balance and spat out a blob of highly toxic poison and covered Crawdaunt in it, horribly poisoning it. Crawdaunt suffered slight poison damage.

Wild Crawdaunt angrily attacked Snorunt by charging in and chopped at her with his pincer for a Brick Break attack, fainting the poor snow Hat Pokemon. "It's alright, you did the best you could, rest up." He said before returning the fainted Snorunt to her Pokeball and sending out a weakened Poochyena. Crawdaunt suffered minor poison damage.

"Poochyena attack Crawdaunt with Thunder Fang." Reaper shouted as Poochyena charged at the Crawdaunt and bit it with electrified teeth, damaging it moderately. The Crawdaunt retaliated with an Avalanche attack, freezing some of the water and slamming it on top of Poochyena, severely damaging it, but not enough to completely knock him out. Crawdaunt suffered minor poison damage.

Wild Crawdaunt charged in at Poochyena and chopped at him with his pincer, causing him to faint before it could attack. "This one is tough. You did well though Poochyena, so rest up." He said and returned Poochyena to his Pokeball and sent out Corphish who upon seeing Crawdaunt, became angered. Crawdaunt suffered moderate poison damage, leaving it at the brink of fainting.

"Corphish, finish off Crawdaunt with X-Scissor!" Reaper commanded as Corphish crossed his pincers like a pair of scissors and cut the wild Crawdaunt head on, striking hard enough to faint the Rogue Pokemon and ending the battle. Corphish picked up the fainted Crawdaunt and threw it far into the ocean, not wanting to see it again and went back to Reaper. "You didn't have to be so mean you know." He said before returning him to his Pokeball and went to wait for everyone else to finish their battles.

~Battle End~

Cody headed back into HQ, sighing as he dropped his bag to the floor. He pulled Raichu's ball from his belt and called her out. The poor electric type was still obviously suffering from the poison that Seadra had inflicted upon her. Her trainer reached in his backpack, pulled out a small zip-locked baggie, and held it up to her. Sparks gave a painful smile and scooted closer to him, obviously interested in what he had.
"Poor girl," Cody smiled, pulling a Lava Cookie from the baggie. "Hopefully they're not stale. This will fix you right up."
Sparks scarfed down the treat, wincing one last time before the effects of the cookie took hold on her body. In mere seconds, Sparks was standing strong, jumping on her trainer in gratitude.
"Just be a little more careful next time," the boy held his pokemon tight, scratching behind her ears. He made his way over to the kitchen once more and sat at the bar counter, reaching in his bag to pull out the papers he was working on earlier.

Walking into the lounge ((from wherever 10 pages back)) Ren sat down. It'd been a while since he was on a mission. Maybe becuase of the fact that he never got the memos on time to actually participate on the missions that go on around this place.

Cody popped into the common room. "People! Activity! It's a damn miracle!" he shouted, throwing his hands in the air. Closely behind him were Fraxure and his new Litwick.
