Leo gave a small nod. "Thank you..." he said softly, though he wasn't entirely sure if he was going to forgive Cherry so easily. He wasn't even sure if the words she spoke were how everyone felt. But with Asher feeling better Leo decided to put that off for the moment as he ran into his brother's chest. "I'm glad you're feeling better." he said happily.Asher's doctor came in with his nose in Asher's charts and looked up just as Leo started to hug Asher. He stood at the door for a few moments before reacting. "Asher you really need to be in bed, you'll hurt your back even more!" he said worriedly as he rushed to Asher's side to aid him back to the bed.

"Eh? But my back feels fine!" Asher protested rather joyfully. "Besides, I miss walking. I need to exercise my feet every once in a while." He took care not to mention the twins in front of the doctor. They probably had enough drama for a day or two, or even a lifetime.

The doctor was quite impressed that he was able to stand on his own two feet without feeling any pain. Even when he was going to be released in a couple of days, he was supposed to go out in a wheel chair but here he was standing just fine. "And you don't feel any pain at all? Even if I put pressure here?" he asked, placing his hand against Asher's lower back and pressing a little. If his back wasn't healed completely then this would be excruciating for the man but he didn't react at all. "Hmm...well if you're feeling better I suppose I could get your discharge papers. But I'm sending you home with some pain killers just in case Asher. I don't know how to explain it...I guess it's a miracle that you've recovered so quickly and so well." he said before he left the room.Leo smiled and could have gone skipping down the hallway for being so happy. "This means you can come home tonight!" he said excitedly as he continued to hug Asher.

"Yes! Finally!" Asher would have let out a whoop of joy if this wasn't a hospital. His brother would no longer have to worry about him. "First thing we need to do is restock the fridge. I hope you weren't starving or anything while I was stuck here."

Leo beamed a smile at his brother and shook his head. "No, we were doing okay." he said softly, though he refused to let go of his brother until the doctor came in. "Lets go home. I'm starting to get sick of this hospital." he stated a bit tiredly, thinking it a good idea to take a nap once they got home, thats if the landlord was nice enough to leave their things in the apartment for the time being.The doctor returned with Asher's discharge papers and a bottle of pills. "If you have any pain you should take one of these every four to eight hours and come see me again. Other than that...I hope you have a good Thanksgiving." he said with a little smile, ruffling Leo's hair before heading back out of the room for the last time.

"Well, seeing as we can leave now, let's get going," Chase said, practically dragging his sister out the door once everything was settled. The others followed until they reached the garage where the vehicle was. "Just in time for Thanksgiving! This is gonna be awesome!" He unlocked the car so everyone could enter."You can say that again," Asher said, but froze when he heard some very annoying footsteps. "Sounds like reporters. Let's get outta here!"

Leo could hear those footsteps behind them, it sounded like whoever was behind them was running toward them. Leo hurriedly got into the car and got his seat belt on, immediately cuddling with Asher as he sat in the car and keeping a tight hold on his brother's arm. "Yay time to go home!" he said happily, anxious to get back to their own apartment.

"Gosh, Leo, you're such a kid!" Asher laughed as he held his brother tightly while Chase rushed out of the parking area. "Or a puppy. Either one suits you." His brother's excitement was contagious, to be sure. Asher had a deeling Leo might insist that they sleep together tonight. Not that he minded, but it did seem like something he would do.

Leo didn't care what Asher called him, he had a lot of cuddling time he missed out with his brother and he was starting now. Asher was lucky Leo let go of him even for a brief amount of time to get into the car. Once they reached the apartments, and everyone started getting out of the car, Leo crawled out and began to run toward the direction he thought the apartment was in, though he tripped over the little concrete curb at the end of one of the parking spaces but he didn't seem phased by the fall. "We're going to have so much fun! We're gonna watch movies, stay up late, make some dinner, read stories...!" Leo kept going on and on about all of the activities they were going to do all in one night.

Asher followed his brother, amused by the overload of excitement. It was as if Leo thought himself to be in paradise. "You could at least be a little more careful," he chuckled as he saw his brother trip a little. He made sure his brother didn't go astray and led him to their apartment. The warning note was there, but it didn't look as if they were evicted just yet. Fumbling with the keys, he unlocked the door for the first time in a while.

Leo smiled as they entered their own home again, smelling the familiar environment and just standing in the middle of the room as if he had completely forgotten all of the activities they were going to do together. Maybe he was rushing Ash a little too much? He had just gotten out of the hospital a few minutes ago, maybe Leo needed to slow down a bit. "So...um...what do you want to do first?" he asked softly, trying his hardest to contain his excitement.

"Maybe go to the grocery store, for starters," Asher suggested, though he knew they couldn't buy much. "After that, we'll spend the rest of the day here. Considering the hectic day we had, we should probably get some rest."

Leo pouted a little. "But we just got home!!" he complained, he knew they needed food in the house but he was really hoping to do something together instead of just heading back out again. "Couldn't we just go to the convenience store up the road for now? And then do actual grocery shopping later??"

"The convenience store? Well, as long as we get something," Asher said with a shrug. He could sort of understand Leo's discontentment though he himself could not see the difference between shopping at a convenience store and shopping in a grocery store. "What's wrong with a grocery store, anyway? Too far for you?"

Leo looked down toward his feet for a minute or two and then looked back up. "Well.....yeah...I don't want to go all the way to the store....I was actually looking forward to settling in once we got home...you haven't been home in...probably about a week!" he said softly, feeling rather embarrassed for being so selfish.
