It was cold in the park for her, this time; she wasn't really sure why. At least now she perhaps knew how to climb to get around the swings efficiently. True, it was possible she'd misstep again, but she sincerely hoped not; the coaster hadn't crushed her ribs, at least, so she was in better shape to climb than, perhaps, previous attempts.
Not so, not at all; she went the wrong way, basically the opposite direction of where she'd meant to climb, and ended up smashing her hand between some debris and metal links.

Why wasn't there a map-- on second thought, why had no one thought to make a giant ladder, or demolish the broken down swings or something?

Meanwhile, in EST land, it was very late and someone who was strangely familiar with Raumias really wanted to sleep, and some huge-a** swings were preventing that from happening.
Raumias thought with dread of the piano that had once killed her, and hoped that this swings ordeal and that hotel were both awful dreams she was having.
Wouldn't it be nice to wake up?

Maybe if this was a dream, when she woke up she'd have waffles with whipped cream and some other delicious foods. Maybe. She didn't really know if she liked those. Waffle. That was a word she hadn't had to think of until just then.
She started to climb the swings at random.
Apparently that was the solution. She tricked her brain into letting her up the right path, and was ready to head to the gift shop.

Jeepers, creepers, where'd they get this gift shop? Jeepers, creepers, it was really disgusting in here. Still. If Raum knew the word for Swiffer she would have been thinking how much it could use one.

If she had been asleep, anyway, what kind of dream would this have been? Was there, somewhere inside her, a gift shop empty except for eyes that never stopped staring?
Did she dream of this place because she had nowhere else to go? Perhaps it was less disturbing to merely assume she was awake, because otherwise what did a dream like this say about her?

Pieces of the floor kept coming away as she walked, as if the gift shop was sloughing off diseases skin, shedding the burden of years of neglect.
Could living things do the same, she wondered?

In fact, as she heard a snippet of a voice saying a word she didn't recognize for what must have been the hundredth time, Raumias thought that maybe she had sloughed off a piece of herself.
Maybe more than once. IT would certainly explain why she could not remember anything...

Raumias shivered, wrapping her arms around herself as she walked. The longer she stayed in this place, alone, in the dark, the more she wished for comfort that she doubted she would ever find. Not in this place, anyway.
She longed for something, without understanding what. She missed someone, without knowing whom it was she missed.
She wished for warmth. Warmth from the inside out.

This place was one of his favorite. He climbed up the roller coaster and went into the seat. He expected it to go as smoothly as last time-- but he's jerked forward abruptly and is now in such pain. The rollercoaster stopped moving and he rubbed his head wit a frown.
