   "..?!" Miku had no time to react, she had thought so strongly she would be the victor, that she really didn't expect him to fight her further. She had never come across anyone who could resist her voice, how, how did he so easily?! With that much power put into her abilities, he should have been hers. Instead....She felt herself make a harsh and painful impact to the ground, which created a slight scream as she hit the ground. That scream however, would ring out as a sonic wave, likely affecting him if only a little, just enough to get the ears ringing. The next thing she knew, she had a lance pointed directly at her face.
It wasn't like Miku to just up and surrender, though under these circumstances, a lance at her face, and the fact that she couldn't really move right now, kind of made her rethink her actions. To...Give up, to admit defeat..She would rather die..But would this man have the strength to really end her existence? "...I...will never admit defeat...I control you! I control everyone!! I can't lose! " She really wasn't one to deal well with humiliation. Ephraim would be able to see however, Miku was quite broken despite her desperate attempt to save her pride.

Ephraim  "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "..." Ephraim raised the lance away from her, switching it to his other hand and stabbing it into the ground beside him. "I'm quite impressed. I've fought all kinds of warriors and demons in my world and this one, and yet almost none can compare to your rather unique power. You almost had me. I certainly underestimated you." He said, having regained his regal composure once again. He reached down an arm to help her to her feet. "As long as you keep your little enslavement ability to a minimum, I think it would be fine for you to join the party as well." He said, giving her a reassuring smile. "We'll just tell them we tied." He said, giving her a little wink. (( OOC: ))

Miku's light indigo eyes stared up at the man in a sort of disbelief and shock. Though this wasn't because of her rare defeat, but instead because of his words. He admitted she was in fact a challenge to him against other foes he battled against, was this a sort of compliment? To her, maybe it was. " ........" When he reached down to help her up to her feet, he would notice she became very quiet. She DID just have her pride kinda knocked down, all when she was so sure she would win. "...You would accept me ...Even after what I did? " Though, there was something in his words she thought she could have a little fun with. He was being..strangely nice, after all. "..To a minimum...Then how many exactly can I enslave that would be fine to you? " A faint smile of her own forced it's way, though it was a little more devilish then completely innocent! This was quite the change, considering only seconds ago she was so completely upset.
"You aren't like the rest of them, I...can see that now. " With how he was treating her, after everything she tried, he had to have some great honor in him, it wasn't like that of most men she had come to meet in her past. "Consider yourself lucky! Your one of the only men I've met who I consider....a decent person.." This was hard to get out. But, if he was going to show her kindness, she probably should tear herself from what little pride she had left and say what was right. She could easily enslave the entire Balamb Garden of people if she had the right set up. Though the party she was surely able to control, as she showed previously before the fight. "..What of your friends in the party? I doubt they will be very trusting of me after what I did to them. "

Ephraim "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win.""Of course," Ephraim said without missing a beat. "In a way, I rather admire your ability to bring any who cross you to their knees." Any except Ephraim, as it stood. Though it likely wasn't impossible for her to defeat him either, all things considered. "You just aren't directing it at the right people is all." At her next, more playful words, he let out an amused sound. "Oh, I think your concentration will have to be on other things. ....Like deciding the man you want to go on a date with. Remember our agreement?" That if he won, she'd have to go out with a nice guy so she could see not all men were bad. "You're quite a beautiful woman. I can't imagine anyone you pick saying no, so don't worry too much about that."
"Decent? Is that all? I would hope for more elaborate adjectives, but I suppose this will do for now." He said, turning to head back towards the Garden after he helped her up or she got up herself, either way. "I have heard they are an accepting group. But if a few of them aren't open to reason, I will simply battle them and make them agree to give you a chance. You are worth the effort." She was, as a person and a girl. Everyone deserved a chance. (( OOC: ))

Saku was walking down one of the side paths finding a forest she chose to go inside and explore, she looked at one of the larger trees, a devious little grin crept across her face as she climbed up getting a little ways off the ground.Fate walked past the same tree where a devious little rabbit was perched at, though he was attracted to a small pond with a few fish in it, he got down on all fours, his tail was wagging, and ears perked as he watched closely, he licked his lips as the fish went around in the water. reaching out as though he were going to snatch one from the water.Saku's devious grind grew as ideas flew through her head 'Ohh what to do, poke him in the back, tug his tail or...' her smirk got even larger as her hand started to glow, she waved it.Fate went to reach for a fish but the moment his hand touched the water a fish almost as big as him attempted to jump out of the water and disappeared as it want past the small boy, at that same time he fell face first into the water. quickly the boy jumped out shaking some of the water off like a wet dog, while the devious little rabbit was laughing

  The sound of a rather violent splash caught the ears of a young sleeping girl, covered in a long green rain coat with the appearance of a bunny, long floppy ears at the hood and all, she appeared to have long wavy deep blue hair and soft blue eyes. Under her coat was a simple white dress, while at her right hand appeared to be a bunny puppet,wearing an eye patch. At the back of her ever so adorable coat was even a little puffy white tail attached. Sleepy, confused eyes looked up first to the girl up in the tree who was laughing, to the young boy who now looked like a wet dog, poofy hair and all! It didn't take long to notice the foxy-ears at the top of his head, and long fluffy tail.
Sitting up now, Yoshio rubbed her eyes, attempting to wake up as she looked at the two of them once more. "...H-hello.." Were the only words she could manage as of now, they were both unfamiliar to her, and she was already very shy of just about everyone, especially those she didn't know.

 Saku's devious smirk came back as her mind went to working again, another wave of her hand, covered with the light the girl could see a big spider crawling over Yoshio's shoulder, but couldn't feel a thingFate looked over at Yoshio with a crooked head, then sniffed the air looking to the tree. "Stinky bunny." the boy said looking back to Saku giving her a glare, but then turned back to Yoshio with a pout seeing the thing on her shoulder he gave her another confused look.That smirk went to a fake pout, saku was just trying to have some fun! "Least I'm not a wet puppy." she said sticking her toung out at fate.Fate shook his head and closed his hand tightly as he glared up at saku.Saku's looked up and a chill went down her spine as a bunch of snow fell over her knocking her from the tree.Fate looked back at Saku again "Stinky bunny."

"...? " Tilting her head questioningly, Yoshio found herself looking back to the girl up in the tree, something didn't feel right. That laugh had a sinister, evilness to it, did that mean she was plotting something against her? She noticed a strange light emit from her hand, but nothing more then that. Again, the little girl's blue eyes found their way back to the fox-child, when he gave her a confused look. Yoshio was completely oblivious to what was crawling on her shoulder, until something caught her attention by the corner of her eye, something moved.
As she moved her head to look at the source, Yoshio fell back, giving off a little scream as she hit back against the tree she was previously sleeping against! The puppet in her hand was now being used as a swatter, or at least she tried to swat it off her. It didn't occur to her that it was not even real, but instead a form of light.If Saku wanted to scare her to death, she definitely succeeded!

Saku pulled herself out of the snow with a pout. "Your no fun." She let the spider fade away in a sparkle of light. she dusted herself off as she thought of something else she could do to them, a little disappointed she didn't get to see the other girls reaction the way she was wanting to, so of course she was going to try something again. Fate looked at Saku like a wolf would it's prey, quickly diverting his attention back to the green rabbit who was going crazy due to a fake spider. he pouted walking to her not sure what to think he always tried to stay away from others, since he was use to being treated badly by everyone. "No bug." he said as he squatted down next to her wondering what the two of them were doing out here. He reached out to grab her hand, though he was still wet from the water

Nature loving? Sure. Possibly poisonus insects? Not all all. Spiders were on her top ten scared-to-death-of list. When it suddenly disappeared though, Yoshio was left with a completely confused expression playing at her frightened face. Lowering her puppet-covered hand, she looked to the young boy as he approached her, and tried to say there was no spider. The way it disappeared wasn't normal, so, with little time to really think about what just happened, she decided to do her best and forget about it. "...It..looked real.." She said softly, and as he took her hand suddenly, Yoshio gasped a little at his cold touch. It was already pretty cold out, so his wet cold hand didn't help much, or when little bits of water from his hair dripped on her as he was rather close to her! "..Did she do it? " She asked, looking into Saku's direction. She seemed to finally figure it out!

Fate shook his head, "Fake thingys." he said only to let her hand go as she gasped fate took a step back looking at himself to make sure saku wasn't doing something evil again, he didn't know he was making the girl get wet and cold, he was just gonna try to help her back up "Uh huh, she.. stinky bunnie." the young fox said, his vocabulary not all that well developed so it was hard to think of the right words to say from time to time
Saku pouted the boy was taking all her fun away, she waved her hand covered with light again.seeing the light from the corner of his eye fate clenched his fist and snow fell all over saku again "Stinky bunnie."

"..Oh..." She said softly again. " Magic. " That was a rather mean prank to pull, but she would let it slide. At least the fox-boy was trying to be nice to her. "..Sorry." She apologized, pointing at him a moment. "Your wet..It was just cold.." Funny considering she too, had some powers of her own that could freeze large area's and if need be, enemies. 'Thank you,um..I'm Yoshio.." Her hand moved up a little, as if she were about to curiously touch one of his fuzzy ears, when the girl decided to play light show again. Unfortunately for her, and more humorous to both Fate and Yoshio, the snow he created was dumped over the 'bunny' girl again causing a small giggle to escape the blue-haired girl. "Are you Serenitian? You got animal features..and bunny-light-girl too. " If Fate knew anyone of the sereitians, like Aiko, he would know what they were.

Fate nodded, Saku did that quite often. when she told him it was because he was wet she could hear a low wine come from him, sounded like a puppy who found out it did something wrong. "Me..." he paused a moment, why was his name so hard for him to say, "...Fake...Fat....Fay...Fate." his face went a little red with embarrassment, not even noticing what she was attempting to reach for. It took a moment but saku finally managed to craw out of the snow. "You didn't have to do that much ya know." Saku said followed by a sneeze "See your guna get people sick."Fate cocked his head to the side confused by her bit of laughing "Sen_ants?" the boy asked not too sure what that word was, but in all actuality neither of them were. Saku walked over to the two of them. "What if we were, you and your stuffy going to try to take us in?" saku kinda had to laugh at the overall idea of that

Blinking as the boy tried to speak his name, she couldn't help but wonder to herself why his speech was such a challenge to him. Then again, he was young, out here in the middle of no where with a rather cruel girl for a friend, maybe he had no adult to teach him? "..So it's..Fate? " She nodded, turning to Saku. Why couldn't it be her with the speech problems? Such a rude girl, for no reason at all! She would see Yoshio clutch her puppet closer at her words, frowning a little. "...I'm not a bad person...i'm not a scientists..I'm a serenitian too. I..just thought you both might be.."
