"I'm just saying, we can't know if it's him who's trying to kill Kelly. For all we know, those men did it on their own accord. Or someone else hired them." She argued, before looking to Irish.
"Say we do punish this man for attempting to kill your daughter, but then another one comes and makes the exact same confession. What do we do to him? Let him go? What if I said the man you're beating is innocent - as far trying to kill Kelly goes - and the guy we let walk away is the culprit?"
