LucindaThe doorknob of the door that Tolin had tapped on began to glow a deep purple. It turned, and the door slowly opened. Alfred was, as expected, asleep in the bed. Sitting across from him was Lucinda, he head bowed. Her robotic arm was detached from her shoulder and rested under her chair. The female Gardevoir always felt a little more comfortable when it wasn't attached. Looking over her glasses, she peered at the Scyther in the doorway. "Tolin..."

TolinTolin quietly stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. He very quickly closed it on Solaris's face, because the Espeon really didn't need to be a part of the conversation. He quietly stepped over to Alfred's side. The Gardevoir was a mess, to say the least. The sword had run him through and the fight before that had been a brutal, messy one. It was probable he would never wake up. That we would simply be a vegetable for his entire life. Having Suecra ripped out of his body could have eradicated his personality, if not his very soul. Well, at the least he managed to defend the necklace. He fought to his last to defend the things he loved. " I'm so sorry, Alfred." He would have a lot to apologize for when the Gardevoir woke up. After all, he was about to do the one thing that Alfred never wanted. He quickly found another chair and sat across from Lucinda. " You're going to hate me for this, Lucinda. You probably won't ever forgive me for what happened to Alfred, and that's fine. But there's a choice you have to make in spite of that."

LucindaLucinda sighed and reached under her chair and grabbed the robotic arm. Sitting up, she proceeded to throw it right at Tolin's head. "I have two children, Tolin!" She yelled as she threw the arm. "I have two little babies who love their father! Now they can't have either of their parents, because Alfred is... here, and I have to take his place!" She turned to the side, covering her mouth with her hand and squeezing her eyes shut, tears streaming from the corners. "What else could I possibly need to do to make life for my family worse...?"

JavsJavs straightened his posture with a sigh as he heard out Aire’s response. He couldn’t call it typical. “You’ll kill yourself before the world ends if you’re to continue that habit.” He idly stared her down for a few seconds before adding on to his reply. “Mirelli has been informed… and what of your son? Will you wait for him to awaken?”If he did, that is. Javs glanced in the direction the older Scyther took off in. He himself was hardly on the same page as Aire in terms of concern, but given the orders, she was maybe going to stick around after all. And he'd be there as well however long necessary.

TolinTolin didn't try to avoid the blow. He simply closed his eyes shortly after she picked it up and let it smash against his face. It hurt, but it wasn't the time for that. " There's two choices ahead of you, Lucinda. Before Alfred was attacked, he created a disc. It contains everything he knew, as well as a few things he was working on. One of them was an updated version of the guild charter, with a few changes on it." He paused for just a moment, hoping she would take this as best as she could. " The Advisor for the guild of Rebirth had an entry. 'Tolin'." He really did hope she took it well. He didn't have the time for her to throw a tantrum; he really didn't.

LucindaThe emotional female just breathed deeply, keeping her eyes closed. She'd dealt with things like this many times before, but every time it still seemed to hurt the same, if not more. "... Then you're Advisor..." She said very softly. "Whether you want it or not, you're going to respect my husband's decision..." She knew Tolin was smart, and that he'd really taken charge of saving the entire world. Her only problem with him was his actions often tended to put her family in danger.

TolinTolin nodded. " That is one choice. The Charter isn't official until the changes are handed down by the leader of Rebirth. The other..." Hopefully she wouldn't be offended by this. " Is whether or not you wish to involve yourself." He finished the statement quietly. Lucinda was strong, to be sure. She was smart and capable. She could easily handle the guilds if necessary. " If you officially recognize the position as mine, then I will do everything to help you and inform you. I have friends who can take care of your children and keep them safe if the guild is attacked again." If Lucinda was to take up the mantle of the Leader of Rebirth, then she would need the support. But if she wasn't... " But... you also have the choice to leave the affairs of the guild to me. We have some terrible things waiting for us Lucinda. You would be much happier if you could simply live on as a mother instead of taking Alfred's place." Knowing the world was to end in less than three months was a fact that made it hard to live. That made it hard to stay sane. " That... is the choice I ask you to make. You can take on the Guilds as your own, or you can simply live as the mother of your two children." Whether or not she was willing to officially recognize his position, he intended to fight on as he always had. Being a member of Rebirth would be extremely useful in dealing with the various guilds, but it wasn't necessary. So, that was the choice that lay before her; to live as happily as she could in ignorance, or to dive in and face the end.

LucindaHer eyes remained closed as her choices were laid out. She could continue Alfred's work for him while he recovered... Or she could simply take care of her children, which was all she really wanted in the first place. After a moment of thinking, she stood up and walked passed Tolin, taking her metal arm off the floor. She winced a little as she plugged it back into her shoulder. "No." She pushed her glasses back up and wiped the tears off her cheeks. "I'm second-in-command of the Guild of Rebirth for a reason. My wants come second to the requirements of my Guild." The Gardevoir looked at Tolin, her eyes completely covered by her glasses. "You'll become my Advisor as soon as you are able."

Tolin" Don't regret this, Lucinda." He said it simply, as a matter-of-fact. Don't regret what you took on; not when you had all the choice in the world, not when you were left to that on your own. She knew who she was marrying. She knew things were happening. Now she was about to find out what. Now, to do his actual job. He was an advisor, after all; he gave information and advice. " Then, I'll start from the beginning. There is a Trinity of gods. Arceus, the keeper of balance, Suecra, the god of destruction and Creaus, the goddess of light. These three were originally all one creature; the true Arceus. As he is now, he is weak. None the less, he is what holds the universe together. The balance. He is dying. He constantly weakens, even now, and when he is weak enough... the world will simply die." There wasn't much else to it. " But!" He continued quickly. No sense in letting dread accumulate. " We aren't without hope. Those that attacked us, those that bore the pendants. They are his soldiers, the 'Elite'. They are demigods, but the pendants are what's important." He stood from his seat and walked over to Alfred. With a quick slice, the pendant that had been tied to his neck was cut free. Tolin held it up in front of Lucinda with psychic energy. " These pendants hold the power of Arceus. Along with Suecra and Creaus, these hold the majority of his original power. If we can gather the pendants, we can find a way to return their strength to him. There is also the possibility of returning Creaus and Suecra to his body, although it was intended as a last-ditch effort. It required running the hosts through with a special blade." A blade in the hands of Creaus. " That blade now holds Suecra." They had a good chance to repair the balance. It wouldn't be easy. It would be hard. There would be death; lots of it. But they had a chance. " That... is the simple version. That is what we face. Half a dozen demigods and a time limit that is counting down to the end of the universe."

 Solaris---Aire
Aire raised the lit cigarette from her mouth and blew a smoke ring above Javs' head with a slight pursing of her lips. "If I'm to die it is by my own accord." She replied dully before turning to eye the door the Scyther had vanished in. There was muffled shouts, the sound of something metallic striking the floor. All a bit too loud for her liking. At the male Gardevoir's last two question her frown intensified and she shot him a glare. "I'm...not sure." It was a bit surreal to find out she still had a living relative left, let alone one she had watched 'die'. She'd make no plans, unsure if she wanted to just walk out and pretend none of this happened at the end. "For now I have business..." She turned and began to stroll towards Solaris, who was leaning on the door with his ear pressed against it in vain to hear what was occuring inside. When a shadow fell over him his insides twisted and the Espeon looked up to meet the narrowed eyes and cruel smile of the female Gardevoir from before. "He-hello?" "Goodbye." Solly found himself yanked up by the scruff and thrown down the hall, releasing a pitched scream as he crashed directly into the garbage chute and down the tunnel to the dumpster outside. Brushing off her hands, Aire raised one to knock on the door.

LucindaLucinda remained still as she listened to Tolin explain the situation. She then reached up and pressed a small button on the side of her glasses. "Agent 46049, Codename 'Lynx,' login." Lights began to flicker on the insides of the lenses. "I hacked into the glasses to remove the trackers that they all have. I can use them without being spotted by my old boss. They can analyze a Pokemon and track down weaknesses. For example..." She looked at Tolin, and a few soft beeps sounded. "Get passed your exoskeleton, and you're quite fragile." It seemed as though for this new job, Lucinda had reverted back to Agent Lynx. When she heard a knock, she turned and looked at the door. "... A Gardevoir?" She waved her hand, opening to door for the new visitor.

JavsJavs simply nodded with closed eyes in response as he followed the female. When they halted and he heard the Espeon’s voice, he opened one of his eyes to peer down at it. Javs winced as the feline was tossed away, peering back at him quickly, but made no attempt to help still being in Aire’s midst. Javs shut his eyes as the door opened and vanished out of sight. He’d stick around in a rather undetectable form. Another body in the room was just a hassle.

TolinTolin shrugged. " I prefer to kill things before they can hit me. It's much more efficient." This exoskeleton had been quite a bit stronger back in the old days, but now it served more as a method to keep his insides inside than anything. Well, fortunately his psychic training afforded him a great number of ways to circumvent his weaknesses, even now in his old age. If it was a Gardevoir then it could only be--yeah it was. " If you have questions, Aire, I believe it would be best if we handled them privately." Aire and Lucinda meeting could be either remarkably bad or remarkably good. The two women were likely to fight on some level, but it essentially came down to whether or not they embraced one another for their independence and strength of will or hated one another for it.

Aire
"I am not a patient woman, Scyther." Aire responded immediately, her eyes drifting past the insect and other Gardevoir to the bed behind them. Surprise flickered across her face for the briefest of seconds before she glared in Tolin's direction, lowering her cigarette to put out against the wall beside her, leaving an ashy, black smudge. The Ivysaur hadn't lied to her then. Good, she didn't have the time to go kill him right now anyways. "If you want my assitance in finding these pendants then I expect information. I'm sure you could find another psychic in a heartbeat to deal with this, but none will quite reach my grasp of scrying..."It wasn' arrogance that made her state such, it was pure fact.

LucindaAs soon as Lucinda laid eyes on Aire, the beeps and lights in her glasses started going apeshit. ".... You're his mother." She reached up and removed her glasses, folding them up and looking at the other Gardevoir with those bright green eyes. "My name is Lucinda Sinclaire... Alfred is my husband. Tolin will fill you in on all he can, I promise." She looked down at the Scyther with a look that said Right?!
