A familiar face, toothpick popped into his mouth, leaned on Qastor's shoulder. "Damn, I leave for just a little bit and you're already tryin' to destroy everythin'." He also pounded Qastor's head slightly. "And next time you send a message like that, don't kill it before I get here. Scared me half to death."

Watari watched the events unfold as he tilted his headband back to its original position. Now that this ordeal had been dealt with it was time to resume his original mission. He would wait near the gates and hopefully catch a couple of the squad members he had formed. Mikoto's lack of location began to worry him a bit. He shook his head at the Hokages comment but took notice of the medical ninja that had healed him, he was not needed. As he turned to leave he spoke a simple phrase to Qastor. "Remember Lord Qastor, Kage are human too. Won't kill you to ask for help if its needed." he said in a respectful tone. Despite his younger age he carried a bit of wisdom along with him. Now it was time to find his squad.

Sotaru caught up again, smiling he was running to his father, but as Qastor turned away he saw the two. He nodded to Akito, then looked to his step mother, or so she was at one time. He gave her a hard look,"Obasan...." he didnt feel like saying even that, before leaving the forest altogether, he needed air.

"You dont have to apologize, I love you," he capped the bottle and stood up,"But whats done is done, wounds never heal, they only become scars. And right now I think my heart has taking another lashing it cant heal from," his eyes shifted from hers to Akitos. Why didnt he just tell me, what use was the secrecy, "Dont blame yourself, you cannot hold together a family with some chakra and fancy tricks. As I grow weak so does the seal, theyve all left, the twins are growing up, they never leave each others sides. Tenichi has gone off with his cousin Haruka, he hates me... he hates you... hes lived with Kirama and Rin ever since you left me, he blames both of us for not being a family."

"Good luck, he left the village when I tried to even talk to him, he stayed around long enough to get what he needed from myself and left. Do me a favor, dont tell him you are remarried, if he knew you left for Akito, he would turn his back on Akito too, we both know Akito doesnt need that, his first student to leave him." He drank a sip more and walked with her,"If you really think it will work, Ill come with you, he was in rogue last time I checked, he has a thing for Haruka. Guess he got that part from you, he follows who he wants to protect to the end, even if she might kill him along the way. You never ruined my life and family, you were the key to holding it together, and when you lose the only key to the door you want to open, youre locked out."

He put away the bottle for a time and stopped,"You dont have to fight for me anymore, I can take care of myself, I shouldnt have depended on you the way I did. If you were enough, I think I could manage, but welcoming you back would be taking your freedom, and the most beautiful birds deserve to be free to roam. I would welcome you back but you would not come, I would follow you forever, but you would not leave a trail to follow." He kept walking and before they were near the edge of the forest he cast a glance to her,"I would never push you away from me, though you deserve so much better...."
