Because it was a 2 SF point attack.

no if you read vic made a made 3 sf point burning attacks vic had 3 SF points.
now if it was stated Vic used like 85% of his stamina as well i could understand.

i'll have the change amde in about an hour. woke up half an hour ago as i slept thrue my alarm clock again... or my parents turned it off... and my heads all like mush right now.
PostPosted: Mon May 21, 2007 12:57 pm

*Shrug* Not how I read it. What it looked like was Miss Ai Leen posted a summary of all three points. One being used on the Swarm attack previously. Then two, one to Set Up the Bomb on you, and another to Drop the Bomb on ya in that last post.

Thus, 2 point attack.

Thought I'd spare Miss Ai Leen having to post that herself. sweatdrop

um... that lucky star spoof... someone has far to much time on there hands... and alot of money....
I remember reading an article on thoes Busou Shinki figurines. each one comes with the disc to this sorta online game, each doll comes with a cerial key and you register it online and you put the parts on your doll (as i understand you can buy new parts) which make your doll into samurai, robots, vehicles, ect. and you do sorta a street fighter type online game with other people. i think the dolls cost like $30 each.
I guess you could say its sorta like angelic layer without the real dolls fighting.
I belive each doll has 2 sets of gear a sorta cosplay set and a full battle set... i think. i saw the article like 3 years ago.
Pfft don't be jealous of someone's skill at making a movie. This clearly took alot of hard work (especially the cheer leading scene). BusouShinki, there are a few figures that come complete while others are add-ons such as the WaffeBunny and no there is no CD. You download the game from the official site and log in with a KonamiID -attempting to do just that, hope the Japanese let me ninja -

I just got mine Sunday...though I could only afford the WaffeBunny and Howling but I have the samurai and Neko waiting for me at the comics next weekend 3nodding . And hey, the little dolls may not be fighting like they do in Angelic Layer but with how technology is advancing...I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up soon whee .

first usage

Quote:
[Having a ball - In The Skies Above The Oil Rig Vic Voltage

He could feel it. That familiar tingling that raised the hairs on the back of his neck and along his arms. A storm was brewing. Half blinded, deafened, and bleeding, this was still something he could do. It was the core of his being. The crackling energy called.

His voice was still amplified, and it boomed down towards the rising Goldbrease, still far, far below the lounge singer-come "terrorist". Even garbled through the water, his voice was still distinguishable to Daniel.

"RAAAH!" He raised his arms upwards, calling down Schwarzenegger-sized arms of lightning from the swirling storm. The shots were random and frenzied, Twelve bolts in succession in rapid staccato. They were also twenty feet long each. And they weren't even all of the energy he now had at his disposal: the electric orb was now its own localized storm, a spinning vortex with Victor at the center.

second usage

Quote:
[In Pain. In Need.]

The amplified scream burst through even the roaring of thunder and the rush of fire.

Vic was still blinded, still deaf, and even further, his vortex made it very difficult to see and hear past. A vortex that was now half consumed in flames, shot through with writhing current. It was hard to tell what was going on now. The moment the fireballs touched the surface, it was all heat, thick oily black smoke, and sparks. Thus it was tough to tell whether the bullet had gone where Gold had intended, or if Vic Voltage had screamed for another reason. Regardless...if he wasn't angry before, he certainly was livid now.

Code:

Vic Voltage
SF remaining: 1/3 (nonshareable)

There was a quiet explosion from within the cone, and suddenly the sky was filled with sparkling motes which dotted the darkness like the stars in the heavens. Immediately following the explosion, several more arms of lightning burst out from the swirling chaos, arching in the air straight for Gold's location. These seemed to follow him with eerie accuracy.

third usage

Quote:
Vic Voltage

Something was just occuring to Vic, even as he continued to successfully predict where those orbs were going. Apparently, he wasn't reading the electricity in Gold's body. The storm swirled around, dodging in the sky lit by the glitter of a myriad of sparks. His hearing was returning, and with the volume of his voice finally brought down to proper modulation, he muttered, "Was that VF my enemy? No wait...what the hell am I thinking? That was Kami's plane." He shook his head violently, dispelling the thought. "That other plane coulda been a friend though. Couldn't tell with alla' that flashbang in my head. Wonder where it went?"

((OOC: Ideas only work if they don't conflict with the subject's firmly grounded information. Vic Voltage and Kami no Kaze know each other pretty well. Vic was also partially blinded and deafened before the Valkyrie Wings went into the water, and before that point, Vic didn't see it clearly. There was stuff being shot and thrown at him, after all.))

"Gotta... finish this." Grimly, he stretched out his hands, and closed his eyes, intoning, "Mighty Donar, All Knowing Odin. Futsu-Nushi and Aji-Suki-Takahikone. Haokah, Huitzilopochtli. Kaminari and Take-mika-zuchi. Lei-zi, Indra, Tawhiki, and Namarrkun. Hear my call." The glittering sky began to pulse, as if a heartbeat was now linked to each spark floating in the air. "Shango and Summanus. Give me yer power. Kill this idjit who plays in our storm!"

Code:
Vic Voltage
SF Points Remaining: Completely Out.
Summary of point usage:
1 - Super Lightning barrage.
2 - Spark-Ridden Sky - Setup.
3 - Spark-Ridden Sky - Finale.

The entire sky seemed to become one huge lightning bolt. Every single spark that had been floating harmlessly in the sky flared to full life after two pulses. Goldbrease suddenly found himself surrounded by hundreds of thousands of small balls of lightning, streaking in at high speed from every single direction. There was no escape.

Just as there was no escape for Vic Voltage. The cost of the attack dissolved all but a marble-sized amount of lightning from his vortex. Which allowed him to see his last moments. Two incredible beams of energy lancing up from the water at him. He panted with exhaustion, clearly frustrated. If only he'd had some juice left.

He closed his eyes, and in those short moments, he sang, voice rough with fatigue. "You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your li~iips..." Then, the lounge singer was engulfed within two searing columns of light.

Victor Voltage: Exit, stage left.

((OOC: Yup, Vic's out. Gold, it'll take two SF points to nullify Vic's attack, probably with some sort of psycho shield or something. However, using your last SF point means you're spent. You're exhausted and need to rest for several hours, or at least have a good meal and a drink.))

first SF he used unsleashed the random lightning barage against everyone

second was vic's complete focused barage against me

third was vic's lightning ball trap.

aileen edited the first usage of her sf point. unfortunetly she didn't edit her second post which points out vic had 1 sf point left.

took me several hours just to get back onto gaia. i couldn't access the site after they put up that new quest.

edit: and ive edited my rp post. i'm wondering how your going to cope with a curtain of lightning bolts falling ontop the rig.

Angelic Layer. I'm aware it's "Different" in the Anime. Or so I've been told.

But in the Manga the main character knows nothing about the game, or how to fight. And gets signed up in a tournament before she ever gets any practice. She then goes and takes down some super high ranked opponent who had some Dancer doll on her first time out.

No practicing, no learning the system, no "Beat up some chumps first" episodes or anything. Nope.

the anime is alot like that but differn't.
she starts out with a wierd guy dragging her into a toy store and haveing her buy all her stuff then going home tinkering with the stuff and makeing the doll.
then she gets into a match with a cheater when she thought she was going to get to practice.
then she gets entered into a tournament.
