Be good...

For the she had no idea how many-eth time that day, Lorika felt herself lifted off her feet and into the arms of a man. Her mind was swimming again. Unconsciously, she used some dregs of her energy to wrap her heavy arms around the Professor's neck and bury her face into his chest. Her mind dully registered that he didn't seem as strong as before... in fact, he seemed to stagger under her weight. She felt guilty for a moment, but the feeling was swallowed up by how immensely tired she was. At that moment she wouldnt have cared if Panda had dragged her back to the Temple by her hair. She was just lucky there was such a comfortable option available.

And it was comfortable. It was nice. Something about the whole situation leading up to that moment had reminded her of olden times - good olden times. It was strange to admit, but she liked a man who wasn't afraid to tell her when she was wrong. The mindless adoration of the Prince just didn't seem to sit right with her. It... it was sad, in a way. After so many years of abuse, was it all that she could respond to? This was the thought that caught and held in her drowsy mind, like a single twig amidst a slow-moving stream. She mulled it over quietly for a few minutes, before the sound of the Professor's heartbeat caught her attention, and she closed her eyes to listen to it. After many long minutes she could have sworn that it matched her own.

...and you will be lonesome.

Brain woke up from one of his horrible dreams, he looked around to find himself on a beach. Always on the beach he though to himself, how long had it been since he had come to this place? he had no idea, he took out his pack of cigaretes, "Blast, I'm almost out of them" he hissed before lighting one...

..Brain got up and started walking again towards that building or huge pile of rocks, he didn't know for sure but from there he atleast would be able to fine some life if there was anyone out there. He walked towards it enjoying his smoke when he felt something...

..He couldn't tell what it was but it was painfull, he saw a building nearby, it looked a bit like a temple, he grinned, he had finally reached a place where there was proof of human life. He tried to take another step but he fell flat on his face, he coughed up some blood at he passed out...

..Ever since the forest he had been walking with bleeding internal organs, broken ribs and a broken left arm. He had finally reached his limit which was way higher then that of most humans, not many would be able to drag on like this and still be alive.

"It's not enough to know your limits..

Hanging around the temple wasn't really one of Odin's hobbies. But after all that happened she believed that she needed to clear her head after the day's training. And also, if anything, she wanted some solace from the sounds of fighting. Things around the Order have been strange and she needed a clear head to try to grasp what was and will be happening.

The cool breeze with the rustling sound of leaves and soft crashing of waves were so calming, she could not have been more thankful of where the Order chose their headquarters.

But why does it have to be so far from--

Her thought was cut off by a low thump, like someone fell over. She looked around her and found no one in the immediate vicinity. Though Odin wanted to investigate the sound she tried to be more careful.

Creeping towards the source she found it to be near the beach, where the sand met the soil. Slowly, she parted the leaves lining the border and saw a man passed out on the ground.

If a story has a happy ending...

[looks like Odin just found Brain.
I'm not going to make a post to respond just yet since he is passed out from all the internal wounds.
He needs someone to heal some of his internal bleedings before he'll come to I guess.
So at this point I have 2 options, letting Brain die or someone should take care of the bleedings]

..then it simply hasn't ended yet

"It's not enough to know your limits..

"By the gods--!!" Odin gasped at the sight. The man had not only passed out on the ground but he was also covered in wounds. And if she had not known any better the expression on his face showed that he was pained.

She jumped over the line of shrubs and looked to see if anyone was around.

"Heeey! Anyone out there! I need help! Someone's wounded!" she cried out but it was only met with the sounds of the beach and a couple of seagulls.

Odin thought she might run over to the Sanctuary to get some help but seeing the man's condition it did not seem wise to her to leave him alone.

He could die if I leave him to get someone.. but I'm no healer myself--

"And debating with myself is not going to help either."

She sighed and her brow furrowed as she stepped closer to the body. She frantically clutched at her hair and shouted, "Hell! What do I know about first aid?! And by the looks of him I wont be able to carry him back to the Temple either!"

She leaned down beside him to inspect his wounds better. She winced looking at his broken limbs and considering all the blood on his red clothes she was sure he was much worse.
If she did not get help soon she'd have to make due with her basic first aid knowledge. She did not want to have the guilt of losing this person's life on her chest.

For a final time Odin cried out, "Heeelp!! Anyone out there? I need help! Please!"

(( Arr, I'm afraid noone else is advanced enough yet to heal internal bleeding except meeee ;o; Deadly wounds are relient on, well.. "Heal Deadly Wounds" XD

EDIT: hmm, maybe I should make a guide on what each healing ability is powerful enough to do.. I suppose a team of priests could tag-team Heal a gravely wounded person, each taking on a different aspect of the injuries... but that would take quite a few posts... up to five I guess? And Heal isn't powerful enough to fix all things... yeah, maybe a guide in the Spirituality thread would be good >3>

BUT IT'S OKAY cos if someone dies I can res them >3>

Take better care of yourselves people!! Maybe we need to have some seminars on 'staying alive during rp' ))

Feline Godess

Tipsy Shapeshifter

Feline woke from a deep sleep that had featured a jumble of dreams involving green haired angels and crashing boats. Looking around she suffered a moment of confusion as she tried to place the room she was in.

This is not home, Feline thought worriedly trying to find a clue in the room that would tell her where she was. A clam motif in the corner caught her eye, it was then she remembered the Benevolent Order and how she had fallen into this group. She was somewhat surprised to find herself tucked into a bed in a room located in the temple, from what she remembered she usually slept in a tent in the temple ground outside.

Feline tried to focus in on the events that had led her here, but had to leave off when doing so caused a sharp pain in her head that threatened to turn into a migraine. Gingerly sitting up in the bed and she stretched out her wings. As they reached their full breadth she felt a moment of surprise and was pummeled with visions of falling uncontrollable with intense pain in her right wing. She had to get a hold of the wall to steady herself until the vision went away leaving only confusion, her wing was perfectly fine, despite her memories otherwise.

Feline went over to the window out of habit to find away out of this room. Opening it up she found it too small to fit out of.

Why do these people not believe in balconies! She thought in frustration, not looking forward to walking out of this place when her wings were perfectly fine. At the thought of her wings she was again hit with a small moment of pain and dizziness that seemed more real than a dream and yet she could find no harm to her body.

Quietly opening the door she was surprised to run straight into a woman dressed in the Order’s robe that was making her way in.

“I’m sorry,” Feline said quietly, trying to slip around the woman, “I’ll just be leaving now.”

Feline had not gotten more than two steps away when the woman caught her arm. “You are not going anywhere missy!” The woman huffed, “I’ve got orders to keep watch over you till the High Priestess can look over you to make sure you are ok. And I’m not one to go back on my duties so you will get back into that bed right now and stay there till the High Priestess gets back from wherever they all left to.” And with that the woman started to drag Feline back into the room.

“They?” Feline asked, slightly resisting and finally pulling her arm out of the woman’s grasp. “Who has gone and what is going on here?”

“The High Priestess and the Professor left a hour or two ago with a couple others I don’t know and they left in a hurry. “ The woman reached out to grab Feline’s arm again trying to take advantage of her momentary confusion. “Now it’s not my job to know why, it’s just my job to keep you in that bed. Off we go missy.”

Feline managed to barley evade the imposing woman’s grasp. Missy! If I am called that again I think I will have to smack her!

Feline resisted the anger wanting to fill her body like she was taught as a young child. “Never act in anger” her instructors and advisors used to always say, “Calm planning will get you further every time.“

Feline paused as a thought hit her, Everyone is gone.

“What about the Overseer?”

The woman huffed again, “That good for nothing man ran off after that whole messed he created.”

Feline was struck again with images of a boat wreaking. She felt small and confused in a childlike way. At that moment she wanted more than anything to just be home and away from this crazy place.

She smiled soothingly at the woman who had been doing her darndest to get her back into that room, “You go on Mam, I find myself hungry and want to go to the kitchens to get something to eat.” Feline was hoping that she could trick the woman into letting her go.

The woman smiled back, “No worries Missy!” Feline flinched at being called that again, but held herself back from violence. “I’ve got some right here!” and with a deft move of a woman who had raised several children, the lady managed to sweep Feline back into the room with the food and shut the door solidly behind her.

Feline fumed for a moment, picking up a roll from the tray and throwing it through the window. Looking back down at the food tray for some more ammo a small bottle of oil caught her eye. She laughed in triumph. Escape had been provided by her jailer. Feline quickly poured the oil on her wings and rubbed it in.

Now in theory she should have slid easily through this window, but the reality was far different. Each inch she won through that window was accompanied with minor scratches, a torn robe and the loss of a few feathers. When she finally fell out into the bushes below she was relived to have made it out and happy that the grounds seemed to be deserted at the moment.

Everyone really IS gone and the Overseer has deserted us…me…my one friend I thought I had, she was hit with that overwhelming need to find her homeland again.

If there is one place I can find the spells that will get me back, it will be in Panda’s study. I must be quick about it though since I don’t know how long he will be gone for. With that thought she quickly took off into the sky and flew over to the Practice Hall.

Feline reached the Hall quickly and found sneaking back to the study fairly easy since the Hall had few people in it right now.

Walking up to Panda’s door she prepared herself to break in, How hard could this be? I was a great sorceress in my homeland. I’m sure I can handle this easily.

There was a niggling thought at the back of her head that tried to remind her that she had lost all those powers when she came to this land, but she was too focused in on opening the door to pay much attention to it.

(((I'm gunna post something. Should we PM oro?)))
Harata looked at Kyo, then shook her head. "Non. You are worst hit." She reached into her bag, pulling out some cotton, a bottle of what appeared to be alcohol, and some bandages. She went to work, fixing up Kyo as best she could. "There. Now I deal with the 'Seer." She walked over to him. "Oh, and a little warning, Overseer, this will sting. Please don't move around to much, or else it will hurt worse."

Carrying lorika to the chruch was harder this time then it was before, but it really didn't matter to him. She was so warm, and soft. Panda felt awkward when her arms wrapped around his neck though. He had never been with so many people for so long in years. All of the attention was getting to him. He tried to block out the feeling though, concentrating on getting them home. He had completely forgotten about everyone else at that moment and just kept walking.

It wasn't long before he reached the front gates and knocked loudly, hoping someone would open the doors. With no answer he was forced to go to the side and enter near his study, that's when he ran into an unexpected person in front of his door. "What the hell do you think you are doing? do you WANT to die?" he said trying not to disturb lorika
