He huffed, and shifted around, crossing his arms. He was really acting like a five-year-old popinjay at the moment, but he found that he did not care. "...maybe," he muttered, before speaking normally again. "Well, it got you to talk to me, didn't it?"

Ever arched an eyebrow at him. "Only because I think you might be ill or losing your damn mind...."
She even reached up to rest her palm against Ares' forehead. She didn't find a fever, obviously. He was a god. Gods didn't get sick, but he was sure acting funny.

He laughed slightly, grabbing her hand and pulling it back down, but not letting it go. "Oh, trust me, I lost my mind a long time ago." He winked slightly. "Most gods have."

Ever's eyes widened even more, if that were possible. What the hell was wrong with Ares?! She knew it had to be him because no one would be physically able to truly replicate his physical appearance and his familiar, powerful aura that Ever could always sense around him. But he was acting insane!
And he was still holding her hand. This was weird. He wasn't holding her hand in a sexual way. It was... almost intimate. And he was making fun of himself and the rest of the gods!
Ever moved closer to Ares and looked up at him in concern. "Seriously, Ares, are you alright? Really? Have you been away from Olympus too long?"
She was being completely serious.

He chuckled, waving in the air as if she were being silly. "Nah, it's just morning. Morning does funny things." Very funny things, indeed. Ares... well, you could not truly call Ares a morning person. In fact, whenever he actually woke up in the morning hours, he had a tendency to become strange. What caused this unusual personality change is debatable, but either way... he would act almost like a sleep-deprived teenager who is relying upon energy to get through the day.

Once Ares had admitted that the morning did something weird to him, Ever immediately felt more at ease. Nothing was wrong with him and he wasn't up to something. So now, she could actually enjoy his odd behavior. In fact, now she thought it was actually pretty humorous.
Visibly more relaxed now, Ever looked down at the ground and chuckled as she slightly shook her head.
"Wow. Well that's good to know."
She looked back up at Ares and smirked. "It's actually pretty fascinating. I have several personalities wrapped up into one guy. I love your sexy, confident attitude that you normally have, and this attitude is pretty funny."
But then Ever realized what she said and her eyes widened in horror. "Oh... not that you're mine, of course! I don't have you, no! You're your own person, I'm my own person, and we just happen to hang out a lot and..."
She smiled nervously and closed her eyes as she began to chuckle softly. She scratched the back of her head and then pointed behind her, her eyes still closed in embarrassment.
"You know... you could always come meditate with us... It might calm you in the mornings and maybe even you out more."
Her eyes opened and she looked at the wall behind Ares in confusion. "Of course, you'd have to transform into a girl with a student's uniform to be allowed into the room, but that would be weird for you and you wouldn't be able to relax yourself enough, which is the whole point of meditating."
Then she gasped as she got an idea. "OR, we could start having meditation in my room with Aurora, Akira, and Ari! They already know who you are, and you could just meditate with us in your normal form, if you wanted to! That could work... If you wanted to meditate in the first place, of course."
Wow. Did the tea she had this morning really have that much caffeine in it, or was her recent nervousness the reason for her sudden love of talking... a lot?

Ari had happily entered a ‘zen’ state of mind. She no longer thought with words, but by impressions, feelings, and images. They were noisy at first… but then things quieted down in her head and everything was mellow. The only other sound was the soft rasp of the exchange student’s breathing. Out of sheer boredom, Ari brought up the images she had seen last night, lazily letting them become the focus of her mind. She scrutinized every detail, and in a way, that was relaxing. She would have to ask Ever which colors were which, and then maybe she and Musica could—
No, no, no… bad train of though. Bad. Why was she thinking like this? He hadn’t shown up today, which was a bad sign in itself… but she couldn’t help but remember seeing his face, even if it was through a mirror. He was handsome… just like Ares supposedly was under the Miss America make-up. Ari hated herself for thinking like that; after all, it had only been one day. She hardly knew anything about him… if anything. And yet. And yet she thought about him, and he felt like a familiar friend.
Trying to restore some semblance of ‘zen’, and her sanity, she stopped trying to censor her thoughts, and just let them drift.

Ares listened amusedly as Evermore rambled on seemingly endlessly about seemingly nothing. He shook his head and chuckled at this--it was amusing, truly. "Calm down," he said, waving a hand. "Normally I just sleep through the morning so this won't happen. But that does sound nice, though I normally don't meditate."

Ever looked at Ares in confusion again. "You... what? You usually sleep through the mornings? And what, wake up at noon?!"
She started to laugh, almost as if this entire situation was a joke. Who would sleep away the mornings, especially a god who probably didn't need sleep in the first place if he lived on Mt. Olympus?

He shrugged. "Yeah, that sounds about right. But I usually stay up a lot later." He resisted the urge to wink at that statement; it would be rather inappropriate, he thought. "It's not like I actually have much to do. In fact, sleeping relieved some of the boredom that would eventually set into him--it didn't help at all that he was quite restless most of the time.

Ever rolled her eyes at Ares' comment about staying up later. He didn't have to even look at her suggestively for her to know what he was thinking. She yanked her hand free from his and crossed her arms casually over her torso.
"I see. Look, Ares, it really isn't completely my business what you did... or who you did... before me. I mean, we're not doing anything sexual, so it doesn't really concern me, does it?"
She was blushing so badly! She had to look down to hopefully hide her face. She did not want Ares seeing her blush and thinking she was too immature to discuss this type of thing.

Ares huffed. "Yeah, yeah." He knew she was pretty sour about that (or, at least, she acted like she was). He heard about it plenty. "I was just saying." He held his hands up defensively. He saw her blush, but immaturity was not what came to mind. It only reminded him that yes, Evermore was a virgin. Of course this sort of thing would be rather embarrassing for her. Heck, he'd known people who weren't virgins who still got embarrassed about talking of it.

Ever just laughed shortly and shook her head. He wanted to talk with her, but he wasn't being very talkative. This would make having a conversation rather difficult.
She looked but up at Ares, when she felt that her cheeks were back to their normal shade, and gave a friendly smile to him. There was no sarcastic hint to it, no anger behind it. Just a regular smile.
"So... did you manage to get some breakfast?"

This was just what Musica was afraid of. Ari was getting attached to him despite the danger he caused. This was bad, real bad.
"Hey Lu... can you go find the blind girl for me? I need to talk to her."
He typed the message slowly, dreading the inevitable conversation he would have to share with her. Musica didn't like having to explain himself, much less when he didn't even know how to begin with.
