Alcina soon appeared on one of the less crouded streets of New York. She stood there a moment and slowly looked around. Not really...any one around. She still couldn't seem to be able to use any of her magic. Nothing more than a human for the time being.
Her hands began shaking again and she looked down at them for a long moment. She wasn't sure why they were doing that. Her nerves were shot? Pain? Because of those images Hoshi...
She stopped and crossed her arms to try and keep them from shaking and looked away, her eyes becoming very glassy again. Hoshi was right about one thing...she did use her magic to protect her. From everything. Physical, emotional, mental, everything. She wasn't used to having to deal with them. And with everything that was going on with X...Mugin...those images she'd been forced to see of X and everything that was wrong about herself......
She felt something run down the side of her face and quickly brought a hand up to cover her face. This was...this shouldn't be anything she couldn't....she was a goddess damn it. This shouldn't be a...this wasn't...
Slowly, she moved towards a nearby alley and walked down it. There she leaned against the wall next to a dumpster, and slid down it to sit on a box. Her other shaky hand soon moved to her face to hide it and rested both elbows on her knees.

Captain America steped onto one of the many streets of the big city. A motorcycle wizzed past him and he couldn't help but turn and look. Then he headed down an ally to start looking for Fury. Cap stoped when he saw a lady sitting beside a dumpster. Slowly, he walked over to her as not to startle Alcina. "Miss. are you ok?" Cap asked. He evered liked to see a lady in distress.

Alcina turned away a bit when she heard someone approach her and tried to dry her eyes and wipe her bleeding cheek. Gold blood wasn't really normal here. "I'm...i'm alright." she replied, finally turning towards the man. One of the heros here. "Just upset."

"May I ask why?" Cap asked politly as he bent down in front of her. He was trying to be nice and polite. Cap was going to what ever it took to make her not upset anymore.

"Nonsence. Come on, I'll buy you something to eat and drink. It'll make you feel a little bit better. Don't worry I won't hurt you." Cap replied as he stood up and held out his hand to her.

Alcina looked at him a moment. She really wasn't in the mood to be in anyone's company, and she doubted anything could make her feel better after what had just happened. Still...did she really want to stay here next to a dumpster...crying? And she still couldn't use her powers, so there was practically nothing she could do should something happen.
After another moment, she took his hand and stood up. Suppose she'd just have to do as she always did. Distract herself from her problems. At least until she regained the ability to use her magic. Then she could go ho-...no. No she couldn't go home either.

"That's a girl. I know a place not far from here that make a great grilled cheeze sandwitch." Cap said as he started to lead her out of the ally. He was looking to be her shoulder to cry on. Cap knew Alcina would feel a lot better if she got thing of her chest. "What your name?, dear." He asked as they made it to the sidewalk.

"What a lovely name. I'm called Captain America, or Cap for short." He said as he lead her to a diner a block away. "Go in here and find a place to sit while I go change into something a little nicer." He asked.

Alcina nodded to him and made her way inside. She glanced around a moment, then moved towards a table by the window to sit down. Once there, she leaned over the table and rested her head on her arm, looking out the window.

Cap knew the owner of the diner. He snuck in a back door and headed toward a specal room. He quickly changed into street clothing and placed his sheild into a bag. Then Steve headed into the dining area and walked over to Alcina. "Is this seat taken?" Steve asked as he came to where she was sitting.

Alcina looked over at him and gave him a rather sad attempt at a smile and shook her head. She was still really in no mood to even act like she was happy.

Steve sat down across from her. "What's bothering you? It help to get it off of you chest, and trust me it can't be as bad as some of my bad days." He said to her as a waitress came up to the table.

Alcina glanced back out the window again. "I doubt that..." she replied quietly. "I've just lost nearly everything." Her powers were gone, her son was gone, her X was gone, she couldn't go home. It would be too dangerous to go there after Hoshi was there. And she really didn't want to find any more pieces of Mugin.
