'I haven't trained since I've grown and I din't remember training,' he shrugged, 'I would probably be better off learning a few tricks though, before tomorrow.'
Nika wasn't completely confident with his own fighting ability. In fact, he wasn't even sure if he would know or remember how to weidl a large weapon.
And I get annoyed when others are protective of me, he thought, they probably have good enough reason to.
Perhaps, if he could learn, he could prove that he could take care of himself.

She nodded, getting to her feet. *Do you have a weapon?* she inquired. Now was the only time they would have to get this down, so there was no use wasting it. As comfortable as she had been. It all came back to business in the end.

Cinderfae Cin gathers some brush over logs that were luckily close to the fire pit, "Kasai left with Gali but got seperated somehow, he found Zahar, and then Zahar and Kasai found some sort of Lizard creature in the forest. The creature is hurt and doesn't appear to mean us harm. Anyways they believe it needs immediate medical attention." Cin pours some excellerant on the fire and then motions for Kata to stand back, grabbing a box out of her belt pouch she strikes a match and starts the fire up. The excellerant did it's work and soon their were flames jumping into the air. Cin grinned, "Now we just need to keep it fed until they get out of the forest, in the meantime...did you bring those marshmellows?" Kasai nodded to the lizard man and held his hands up to show that he wouldn't touch him if he didn't want him to. Then he stands straight up and lets his mind listen to the night, Cin hadn't ever stopped him from playing with his element, even though it was one of the more destructive ones. Kasai wondered if this was why it was so easy for him to pick up on fire, after a few moments he felt a huge warmth off to his right. Follow me, I can feel the bonfire. We should be able to find them by following it.Kataio raised a bag of 'shmellows. "One does not forget the mighty marshmellow. No large fire is good with out them." She dangled the bag, and the pointed to the roasting stick she made back when they first set up camp. "Those should work." Kata laughed and opened the bag careful as to not open it too quickly and send the puffy white things everywhere. 'Kataio, Kasai and I are leading the lizard man back. Could you have some medical supplies ready for us?' Zahar said waving the being along again as she followed Kasai at a slow but steady pace. 'The thing that found us is hurt badly.'"Jeeze. Cinder I am sorry I have to grab some medical supplies. I am so glad that Trivii, Aricin and myself set up the clinic ." Kataio passed on the bag of marshmellows to Cinderfae. "I'll be back in a jiff." Kata trotted off with her last sentence. Zahar kept her light at it's maximum radius about her a** she followed Kasai, glancing back often to make sure that the lizard guy was still coming. Zahar said just to Kasai again, 'Kasai you will not tell anyone about what happened yet, will you?' Her voice wasn't demanding, it was worried.

Kataio F Zahar kept her light at it's maximum radius about her a** she followed Kasai, glancing back often to make sure that the lizard guy was still coming. Zahar said just to Kasai again, 'Kasai you will not tell anyone about what happened yet, will you?' Her voice wasn't demanding, it was worried. Cin stood and ran to the house while Kata was getting the medical supplies. She didn't have medical supplies but she did have food and drink, everyone would be hungry when they got to the house. And even if the new creature was hurt that didn't mean he couldn't eat. Cin grabbed a pitcher of lemonade from the fridge, then the tea kettle, and some food. Balancing her load of food she took it outside, laying everything on the picnic table she then went back to tending the fire. As she tended it she put the tea kettle on it to keep the water inside warm. Leaning back Cin waited for Kata to return.

(( So long. x_x It sorta really sucks, okay? :0 ))
As Sukkubus slept, she never came to fully realize that the masque held so close to her chest began to glow with the barest of white ambiences. Every time the girl shifted, the mask grew a bit more bright, until the holes where the eyes were filled with it, like one pouring milk into a glass. A small form began to take shape, pushing the demon girl's arms out loosely, one arm seemingly hanging in the air, clutching nothing but the faint white light that had yet to actually amount to anything. All at once, the light expanded and just as quickly as it came, it receded, pressing back into the small form that Sukkubus now currently held.
The first sensation the young girl felt was that of warmth seeping through her front. The next was of a kind of...hard and pliant material beneath her side. But ultimately, she felt trapped. How afraid she was to open her eyes! Her mind felt wasted and her eyes burned with a dull ache, the sensation one would have after sleeping much too long. She moved back slightly, her muscles spasming at the suddenness of her decision. As afraid she was to open her eyes, she was even more curious...
So she decided to sate that curiosity of hers.
With pain-stakingly slow actions, the girl peeled her eyes open and focused on the sight before her. The...thing was much too close for comfort, and with a jerky movement, she wrenched backwards and tore out of the other's grasp, nearly falling off the side of the cot.
And to her horror, 'it' awakened.
Sukku awoke with a jolt, something knocking her in the chest (where she was quite sensitive, thank you very much) and pushing her backwards. Her honey hued eyes snapped open, the light of the room distorting her vision for a split second. It took her no time at all to notice that someone else was occupying her cot. Pushing herself up and readjusting her glasses, the halfling took sight of the young girl and...
Yelped loudly, falling off the side of her cot.
She fell with a thud on the ground, landing squarely on both her butt and her tail. Another yelp tore through her lips and she winced, sliding it slowly from its place. Swallowing hard, her eyes flittered to the form on her bed...and she choked on her own gasp.
There upon her bed...was a child...wearing her mask! Along with the most intricate kimono she had ever seen, donning bright colors that contrasted very well with her solid black hair. It was pinned up, she noted, with little ornaments sticking from the side. Despite all this, that had held Sukku in awe...
The first thing out of her mouth was: "Who are you?!" Who would dare...
The girl, who sat rigid upon the cot, stiffened and stared down at the tousle-haired woman, wide eyed. She was rather frightening...and in need of a comb. She kept these thoughts to herself, of course. She went to part her lips to reply, her dignity ruffled at the other's outburst, but she found that her voice...instead of making a sound, transferred to a link that snapped out within her mind like an elastic band.
I am...! she started, but failed to bring anything up. Her slanted eyes widened marginally, with a slowness that was surprising. And Sukkubus knew that if she could see the face resting behind that impassive mask...it would be horrified. In a habit not even she could remember, but reassuring nonetheless, the child raised her hands to her lips, coming into contact with something solid...
That clearly wasn't her mouth.
A thick silence drifted into the room, nearly palpable and all too suffocating. The air seemed to become sickeningly stuffy with the awkwardness that prevailed as the one occupying the bed attempted to regain control. She swallowed, her hands dropping to press down upon the invisible wrinkles that marred her silken garb.
Sukku broke the silence with a soft cough, followed by a well enunciated 'umm'...
She had no jerky movements, only graceful ones. With a simple arch of her neck, the girl was looking at the halfling again, her composure fixed as though it was never lost. I am Etsu... she finally finished. Noting the look upon the blonde?s face, she swallowed minutely and continued.
It is my name.
Finally looking away, the girl eyed her surroundings with rising suspicion . Her eyes flickered over the books spilled upon the ground, archaic symbols etched into the front. Behind the mask, the girl?s eyes furrowed.
What was this girl...?
Etsu's eyes shot back over to Sukkubus, and she shifted slowly as realization struck. She took in the fox tail and ears with mounting horror, and pushed herself backwards. Her chest tightened with anger, her fingertips coming up to brush against the immovable mask that lay there. This girl...this...kitsune had cursed her!
Snake... her mind hissed. Witch! You...did this to me! W-what am I to do?
Sukkubus winced visibly, the voice in her head rising from calm coolness, to blatant hysteria. She was so preoccupied with the cries that raked across her mind that she failed to notice Etsu grab the nearest object and throw it at her. It hit her in the shoulder with a painful crack and the demon child doubled over, grasping it. What the...
A rain of objects assaulted her then, and she raised her arms in a feeble attempt to defend herself. Was Etsu insane!? Great! She got the crazy mask. Bruises rose along her arms as she took the brunt of the abuse, ducking her head away. Let her throw things...as if she?d never been rejected before! Snake and witch were all too common nicknames for the girl. But.... Sukku stole a peek at the wide-eyed girl, who had lifted a hefty magic book to throw at her again. Her mind worked all at once, blocking the Etsu?s terrified screaming and sour insults.
She deserves the truth, even if I never got it...
Shooting forward, Sukku leapt onto the cot (which barely held now) and grabbed the little girl's tiny wrists. The book dropped and hit her in the knee, but she barely noticed as Etsu had started thrashing in her hold.
Let go of me! Unhand me NOW!
Stubborn little girl, wasn?t she?
Sukku gave her a weak shake and did the only thing she could think of: gathered the masked girl into her arms. Of course, she pinned her arms down in the process as well. As subtle a movement this may have been, it had worked on Sukku herself plenty of times...when she lost control, that is. Etsu squirmed in her grasp until Sukku's voice broke through her hysteria.
"Stop it!" she pleaded, arms tightening. "I didn't do this to you, I promise on all things holy. Alright?! I didn't...do it. But I promise you, I'll find out who did. I haven't even been here long, I don't know anything about this planet...I just came to look for my mother! Neither of us deserves this...this treatment. I hate not knowing things just as you do...but if you just calm down and trust me, I'll help you..."
Etsu had fallen silent within her mind, her body limp against Sukkubus's. It wasn't like her to lose control like this, and as her anger receded, embarrassment replaced it. The little girl let out a single, dry sob, her hands curling at her sides. The room was silent for a time before she 'spoke' again.
How do I know I can trust you?
"You just...have to. As much as I want answers myself, I'll help you get yours first...I just...I was appointed as your guardian, Etsu...I intend to guard you. Just please..."
She trailed off and loosened her arms, allowing the little girl some room. Her head was bowed, mask invisible to Sukku's prying eyes, but she could tell she was thinking. Would she trust her? Allow her to care for her as she was supposed to? She broke from her reverie as Etsu made a small movement and proceeded to do something Sukkubus would have never thought she'd do...
Etsu grabbed her hand within her delicate one and bowed forward, touching her forehead to it softly.
A-alright, Fox-san...I... I shall trust you.
And as she looked upwards again, the halfling girl could have sworn Etsu was smiling.

Kataio F Zahar stopped Kasai from lifting the creature. 'I think he wants to walk.' She said as she watched the smaller man stand slowly and use his sword sheath as a walking stick.
'Kataio, help Cinder build a fire. Kasai and I need to get back and the fire will pull to him.' Zahar said calmly as she smiled with her eyes towards the injured being.'Alright, we will get right on that.' Kata stood and looked up from her mug of tea to Cinder. "Marshmellows and a fire sound really great. So Kasai must have talked to you before Zahar got to me. Know what's going on? She didn't say to me." Kataio stretched and looked towards the door. Zahar nodded toward the creature and waved him on. She hoped that he would follow and be all right to continue on. 'Kasai... If you would like to talk more after this we will. Please do not tell anyone yet. I do not know who knows, and I am not sure that I want to tell everyone yet.' Zahar smiled sadly at him and then shrugged. 'Now we wait?' he fell behind them and looked up to the sky and stopped.he hung there for a moment. it was as he susspected. they were headed back to the gathering of houses. damn it. he'd hopped to find out more about the creatures rather then be taken back to thier camp. he winced as he stumbled into a tree but kept fallowing, breathing heavily. he squinted in the light, why was she putting this much light out. it was as if she was sending a becon to the cat beasts he had defeated earlier if more were about that is. they were so close to thier little camp when he'd fought them. did they live in harmony or was that a hunting or scouting pack like hed thought. he stopped suddenly and whistled loudly part of the birdsong titan sung. soon enough the little bird fluttered down to land on his shoulder and he motioned for them to lead on again.

Kataio came back out carrying a bag of supplies, everything from gauze to cleaning solution. "All set Cin. Oh, what did you grab while I was gone?" Kata came closer and laughed a bit. "Enough to feed all of us it seems." She shruged the bag to the ground and took up the marshmellows again as she stood beside Cinderfae.
Zahar took a deep breath and winced as she saw the lizard guy stumble, and then shivered as he whistled. Her light grew a bit dimmer as she spoke to Kasai. 'I will tell them all soon. As far as a cure, no I do not have it. My aunt taught me how to do the spell, she told me it was just supposed to knock people out though. I feel a fool for believing her'
She slowed a bit so that she was a little closer to the creature they were leading on to the camp. 'Not too much further Kasai?' She asked as if to change the topic again. Zahar smiled with her eyes hoping to appear friendly to the being.

Nika didn't answer her immediately, instead, he shrugged the bag he'd packed all of his supplies in off his shoulder and rummaged through it.
He offered Shi a shy smile as he pulled out Gee's favorite dagger. The handle of the dagger was made out of silver and it gleamed with blue and green jewels.
He paused, taking a moment to look it over. They had to have been sapphires and emeralds. Why would Gee have a dagger that was probably worth... well, more than Gee had?
'Gee's favorite dagger...' he mumbled, wondering why he had never examined it closely before.

Shiva looked over his shoulder at the object. She was worried that this was something that was more ornamental than actual combat ready. As was quite often, beautiful things were of little practical value.
*Has it a decent weight and feel to it?* she asked *and are you sure that it is combat-worthy?* It would be devestating if the blade could not hold up to the punishment that could be coming tomorrow.

Nika tested the weight of the dagger. It felt fine, no different then the other daggers Gee had.
He took hold of the handle and positioned the point of the blade above the palm of his hand. Carefully, hoping that the sharp blade wouldn't slip and cut his hand, he lifted the handle and made the blade point towards the ground.
Nika took his hand away from the handle and stood very as still. The dagger didn't move.
'Perfectly balanced,' he shrugged and switched the dagger so that he was holding it by the handle, 'Although, I doubt a pretty dagger will be much help against rade. It isn't very big afterall and the rade are huge.'

Kasai wondered on what Zahar had told him, her aunt. He wondered who this aunt was and also if she was telling the truth. She had cursed them, perhaps she was using her aunt as an excuse for her actions. Perhaps, your Aunt will know of a way to reverse the curse. Kasai let his comment linger in the air, following the fire in the night after a few moments he could smell the warmth in the air.
We are close now, so close I am not needed to find our way back to camp. Kasai points and through the trees the flames of a bonfire can be seen. Lets hurry, we should get the new arrival patched up. Kasai looks at the lizard man, making sure that he doesn't need assistance. He would lend it if needed but also understood wanting to be able to stand on your own. Cin, we are almost there, the lizard man is hurt, be sure to have supplies ready.
No worries 'Sai, Kata already went and got some medical supplies. I just hope he doesn't need anything other then surface bandaging, alien anatomy can be tricky. Cin worries a bit about this new creature found on the planet, she hoped he was friendly. Then looking over to Kata she said, "The kids are almost here, you brought back those medical supplies just in time." Cin then gets out of her chair, "Lets try and make this new creature comfortable."

*Anything can be hurt.* Shiva answered. *Rade die just as any other beast. If there is no blood pumping to the heart, there is no life beating there either. Just know that death by bleeding out leaves an angered rade still able to fight.*
Kneeling down, she drew a quick sketch in the dirt with a twig. It bore resemblance to a Rade, and she marked several points on it. *Major arteries.* she noted. *But not all are near the surface. The Rade are made for killing, and do it well, so their weaknesses are often in the most guarded of areas. But if you stay cool and use your time abilities with caution, you could likely have more than a fair chance wounding it and getting free. * she covered her worry at the thought with another swipe. *Of course, with Io's plan, they will be ripping each other to shreds, and will be too angered and confused to notice us. So it can be hoped.*

he could see flames through the trees and had known since a while ago they were getting close. he striaghtened himself not wanting to appear to weak to these beings he sighed and calmed his acheing body reatching his blade/sheath to his back and standing as strainght as hi could muster. he heard the pop an crack of the fire. they were close now. titan sang merrily, the happy little tune he sung so often, and was still perched on his shoulder.

Zahar emerged from the trees right after Kasai. 'Kataio bring the supplies. I really do not believe that he should be walking.' She waved the lizard man on pointing to Cinderfae and Kataio. Trying to look warm and inviting.
She then turned to Kasai and smiled with her eyes lightly. 'Maybe, but I have not seen her as of yet. I mean I have not even seen my sister since I turned.' Zahar took a deep breath as if to say more and then shook her head dropping the conversation. 'We will talk about this later if you would like. I am still trying to sort things out for myself. I am very sorry Kasai... about everything.' Her voice sounded genuinely sad. Upset with herself, not only for the curse but for not being enough for Kasai the first time around.
Kataio had picked up the bag from the ground. "Darn and my 'shmellow was almost ready." She popped it into her mouth and trotted towards the mask teens and the new being. Kata called out, "Hello Kasai, nice to see you again. Zahar, could you help me lead this guy to the clinic Aricin and I set up?" She didn't even wait for an answer ans she turned to smile at the lizard man. "Uh... Hello? Do you understand Commen?" Hoping that this being would understand Commen one of the most used languages in this universe. Kata kept her distance as to seem not threatening.

he stood at the clearing looking at the others and walked after the one who had bed him to fallow. he looked back to the masks and bowed low to each of them. this caused the gashes on his sides to split open again from where the blood had crusted over them. he sighed and whistled and titan hopped out to his finger. and he smiled at the little bird. he said nothing to the one who had spoken to him but motioned for her to lead him to where ever they were going. he walked slowly limping after her glanceing about nervously, his hand going to the hilt of his katars uncontiously.
