The faint smell of burned out campfire floated in the air. Frauke twitched her nose then slowly opened her eyes groaning softly as she sat up rubbing her eyes. "Did you sleep well?", asked the soft but slightly mechanical voice of Fairy who was still standing where she had been since nightfall. Morning had come as the sun's rays beamed over the hillside of the fields, Frauke grumbled then laid back on the ground and rolled onto her side to keep the sun away from her face.

Fairy smiled faintly then turned around, approached and bent down to Frauke, "We must continue moving.". Fairy reached over and touched Frauke's right shoulder from which the little girl reacted to and rolled on her back looking up at Fairy with an annoyed expression. Every morning Fairy had to deal with the same procedure when trying to wake her up.

Frauke sat up, almost in Fairy's face, another her reflecting off the polished metal visor that covered up much of her guardian's face. Fairy reached into her cloak and pulled out a medium sized bag, untied it and took out a piece of bread, "Here. I am aware that you will not move until you are fed.".

As Frauke reached for the bread, Fairy quickly stood up and held up the piece of bread, making the little girl jump up and snatching it away. To anyone, this would seem rather cruel as if she were treating Frauke like a dog but the girl was sometimes stubborn and would eat then go back to sleep. Yawning once more with her arms extended out above her head, bread piece in her left hand, she stood on her toes and fully stretched like a cat then proceeded to munch on the bread.

After taking a few bites, Frauke made her way onto the road and began walking, Fairy gazed at her momentarily then followed towards town.

Nias

Rena's eyes shot open and she sat up swiftly. Her eyes scanned the room for Izeno. She had felt him so strongly a moment ago that he would have had to have been close. But the presence was gone now, it just poofed away. She couldn't convince herself it was all a dream. The feeling was too potent to just be a fantasy that her mind had generated.
Her eyes spotted a piece of paper on the table by the bed. Curiously, she picked it up and slowly read the words written on it. As she read tears came to her eyes and leaked down her face. She disregarded everything about her being better off without him. She held the paper to her chest. He was coming back, for her. She drifted back into slumber clinging to the sheet of paper.

Coming across the town's checkpoint, the guards seemed suspicious of Fairy all covered in a long tattered cloak. Luckily, despite being an android she made up a lie that she had an illness and was covered up with blood soaked bandages, once the guards heard that they stepped back in fear of catching whatever it was that Fairy had.

Upon entering the town's gate they were greeted by poverty. Strange that a town with fields of bountiful crops can be suffering so then again, this is Clevor we are talking about who governs over these people. The two walked towards the center of town, passing by empty stalls where merchants once sold goods. Those few stalls that still remained sold their items double the price to make up for the quantity they had.

Luckily the bakery was still doing good. Too good in fact that there was a line of people waiting outside the door. Frauke grumbled as the two stepped up and made the tail of the line.

Quari

Shintai followed Kishi out of the room and into the the hallway. On his shoulider Hi stared at the chair. Being a pet it didn't go though any mind control stuff. Instead it just continued to foolow it's masters orders. Looking foward again Hi watched Kishi as she led Shintai to his new room.

Assure

Sess yawned lazily as he positioned himself better on Raul's back so he could snooze off while they moved. It had been a good few months since Sess had received any type of orders from his beloved King or even from his backwater sources. It seemed there weren't enough people around spying and doing their job to make sure people like Sess had something to do.

"Perhaps we should go make ourselves some fun?" Sess said scratching behind Raul's ears. "That sound fun to you buddy?"

Giving a deep bark-like sound, a quick fur shake, and fanged smile Raul picked up his pace without waiting for Sess to straighten himself up and shot down the busy crowd filled street. "That'a boy, Raul," Sess smirked as he straightened himself up while pulling out a pack of cigarattes. "Do me a favor and get up on them roofs."

With one sinew powered push Raul took off from the street, startling more then a handful of people with his victorious roar, and landed heavily on a nearby roof. Without so much as stopping Raul continued his relentless pace unperturbed by the slippery roof tiles.

Assure

It had been an hour or two since Raul began hopping around the rooftops like a crazed rabbit and there still seemed nothing for either of the bored compatriots to do. Finally getting upset Raul jumped back down to the street and growled at a smoking Sess, now on his forth stick.

"You got a problem with my smoking?" Sess asked with a frown. "No matter how many times you try I'm not giving them up so shove off about it."

Bucking like a horse Raul, hoping to send Sess on his rear, growled in annoyance as Sess kicked off ruffly from his back and flipped gracefully to the ground still smoking the cancer stick he so adored. Raising his hackles and snarling fiercely Raul nipped at Sess' feet as he usually did when angered then trotted off several feet from him trying to avoid the putrid stink of cigarette.

"I swear your no fun sometimes," Sess said puffing through smoke.

Aissure

Raul shook his head and trod over to Xieno when he was addressed, much preferring his company then his master Sess at the moment. With enough force to make even a bear stagger Raul made his best attempt at a hug as he assaulted Xieno with his thick tongue.

"Bah, stupid fool told you not to do that," Sess said through an even thicker cloud of smoke. "Gunna lick his face off you are." Placing his right hand in his pocket and his left to his lips so he could remove his cigarette as he greeted Xeino like he usually did. Blowing a humongous cloud of smoke at his face. "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii little buddy! How's my favorite birdy chum?"

Raul of course raised his hackles and hair again when the assaulting fragrance choked up his more then sensitive sensory factory. Releasing a quick growl before burying his face in Xieno's chest.

Aissure

With a huge heave, most likely a defeated sigh, Raul laid contently at Xieno's feet and covered his nose with his large paws trying his best to hide the stinking rolling off Sess.

"You're always bored! I'm always bored! Raul is always hairy!" Sess said exaggerating his words by flinging his arms up with each statement as he made a small circuit around Xieno. "There's trouble a'brewin somewhere and I'm not there to make it worse! Why?" He put his hand to his chin and actually thought for a moment. What was the reason there was nothing for him to do?

Completely forgetting Xieno and Raul existed Sess went into one of his famous "thinking moments". Where nothing in front of him was safe from being engulfed in flame as he paced through walls, stands, and sometimes unluckily enough through people.

'I can't remember... Was i s'posed to go to that meeting last week?' Sess' brain was now riddled with different dates, times, and events that were all happening within the week. The only thing that kept him from waking up to notice he looked like a coal train, pumping out smoke every other two seconds, was the nagging feeling he had forgotten something.

"Oi... bird boy. Anything new happen?"
