Yes, good point.
Daemon mused, he supposed he would be doing the same too... had he not set forward the wheels that would lead his daughter to run into Donovan in the first place. One should not ask how he managed that, he pulled a hell of a lot of strings doing that.

There you see? Now let me talk to the man without scaring him, Gion teased Daemon.
He grinned at Lore, now more able to now that his discussion with Daemon was - at least for him - complete for the moment.
A moment later his smile faded, and he looked confused. But Nadya showed me the elf she was seeing once, he signed. He was ... shorter, like Elnara ... and ... dark ...
He blinked in complete confusion.

"Oh.... him..." Lore scratched the back of his head thoughtfully.
Sasuke and here he thought he put that man behind him, the both of them. Not to mention that was not his story to tell, though honestly he really did not like Sasuke. The fact he was able to think that and not be at all frightened of the man said something.
Then again he was a dolt.
"That was... someone else."

Gion's eyes flickered for a moment and he gazed seriously at Lore.
I guessed that, he signed slowly.
He paused thoughtfully, then added, very carefully, May I ask more about him?

Lore thought about it, after all this was more of Elnara's thing, but he didn't want to bother her with having to talk about that man. However he didn't want to put words into her mouth.
"Yes, it's fine, but I might not be able answer all of it," Lore replied softly, "There are some things, that Elnara should have a say in."

Well that sounds a bit foreboding....
Daemon commented, he couldn't help but comment, but when a man tells you that there are some things that are only best talked about by another person. There was something not qutie right about that.

Gion nodded inwardly, careful to keep his two conversations separate for once.
It does indeed, he agreed with Daemon. I just hope it's nothing too bad ...
Still, he was worried.
He signed, Did he hurt my sister?

Now that was a loaded question Lore thought, and wondered how he was to explain this without stepping too much into Elnara's past personal life and not to get Gion upset. Not like Gion could do anything about Sasuke, though it wouldn't be a bad thing if the man could.
"Not physically no," Lore murmured.
At least as far as he knew no, it was just Sasuke was a hormonal driven dolt who made traditionalist look liberal, which was funny because the man was more liberal in his personal life than most free thinkers.

Gion's eyes flashed, and he clenched and unclenched his fists, trying to control his anger.
What DID he do to her? he signed quickly, wanting to know if it was enough for him to go back with them and set this other fellow straight. Obviously he wasn't bothering Elnara any more - at least, they weren't together anymore - but a guy like that needed to be taught a lesson.

Lore winced a bit, he couldnt' help it. After all it was Lore, even with Elnara he was still hyper sensitive to other people's reactions. And that was certainly not a good reaction, not that he expected anything less than that.
"He seemed..." Lore mused for a moment in trying to explain this without putting sex into the equalation, "incapable of seeing things from her cultural point of view. In short he just didn't seem to understand why she felt upset or fustrated."

Gion wasn't exactly sure what to make of that, but he did understand that there were irreconcilable differences that the other guy had been incapable of understanding.
Is she safe from him? he signed anxiously. That was all that mattered, if he couldn't harm her any more than he already had.

And as far as he knew, Sasuke had given up, at least he had hoped the man did. Though Elnara made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with the man.

Gion blinked. Did he abandon her? he signed, slightly confused. THe way Lore had been talking, it had sounded as if Elnara had told him to leave ... but that comment made it sound as if he had walked out on her or something.
He was getting very confused about the whole thing, though his attitude towards the absent elf wasn't changing a bit.

Lore didn't know how to put this, after all Elnara didn't relaly want Sasuke around, but there could have been that hope that they would work it out.
Lore thought for a moment, "I think she told him it wouldn't work, but there was... I guess they could have worked it out, if he tried, but he didn't try."
Instead he set a letter, which Lore had to read, which was just awful.

Now Gion was completely confused. You lost me, he signed, then passed his hand over his head. What do you mean?
Nadya approached them just then, with Lothiriel linked on one arm and Elnara on the other, Galdor following behind all three of them.
"Come, join us for lunch," she smiled widely at Lore. "Ah, you'll probably want to wash first ... Galdor, go tell your grandmother we've got guests. Lothiriel, go find your grandfather, call him in for lunch, tell him he has to eat with us today. Scoot!"
She smiled after her children as they went off to do as they were told, then turned her attention back to Lore. "Oh, and by the way," she laughed, holding one hand out to him, "I'm Nadya. It's nice to finally meet you face to face."
