Ryu holds her close, but not too tightly, so as not to squeeze there children between them. He bows his head down to her's and says "I'm sorry you got caught up in an old foe's grudge against me. I promise I will do better to protect you and our family."

She regained herself enough to speak calmly. "I should've been able to protect myself. I should have heard them coming! Have I really lost my touch since living this easy life?"

Ryu looks to her and says "I suppose it is easy to et your guard down when living in luxury for a while. Perhapes we can do some training amid taking care of our children, to keep us sharp."

She nodded adn wiped her eyes dry. She looked down at her sleeping babies and rested her head against his chest. Kaori woke up and reached out to her mother, she made the switch of children easily and hugged her daughter tightly. But not so tight that it was painful to her, letting a few sobs out against her baby's small shoulder.

Ryu would guide Lyoko to sit by the tree in that room. No doubt Kari would soon come to join her. Ryu would sit by her with their daughter megumi now in hand.

She allowed herself to be guided to the tree and she took her seat when he getnly pushed on her shoulder. She looked down at her baby and was completely silent. Lost in her own mind.

Ryu kept close to her as the combined family of kari, her cubs, and themselves sat there. Meanwhile Kira would be waking from her little nap and gazing around her new surroundings.

Kira looked around the room, wondering where she was. She got up adn went to the window and failed to open it. She then tried to open the door but it too was locked. She sighed and sat down on the bed.
Lyoko leaned against Ryu heavily and held Kaori next to Megumi. Kaori was fast asleep again and Megumi now woke up, looking up at Ryu and Lyoko with curious eyes. "Lyoko smiled, they have the attention span of a squirel but they still somehow know who we are."

One of the guards heard the attemtps and departed to find Ryu and Lyoko.
Ryu smiled and says "they saw us first and recognize use as their mom and dad."
The guard soon found them and says "lord, the prisoner is awake."

Lyoko dismissed the guard and took both her girls and put them in their crib. "You come with me." She took Ryu's hadn and pulled him up. "Kari, you and the cubs can stay here."

Ryu nods and stands. He would then follow Lyoko and the guard back to Kira's room. Once there the guard opens the door to let them in.

Once they were in the door was shut again. "Glad to see you're awake Kira."
"Why am I here?"
"You saved my life and Kitsuna's. I've decided to give you a choice. You can either stay here adn take Kitsuna's place as my hand maid. You could go to prison with the rest of your pack, or I will allow you freedom in the next kngdom over, away from Ryu and the other reigning lords. It's your choice." Kira was stunned into silence.
"Freedom would be nice, if it's all right with Lord Ryu."

Ryu maintains a civil yet commanding tone"Because you helped my wife and her hand maid in escaping you and you alone have been spared from prison and worse, execution. However, your pack has been responcible for a number of raids on store houses and gereal thieveing in my land. and they reputation has spread. So I would recommend you take my wifes first offer of being a hand maid. your safety would be guarenteed and after a time other rewards could follow."

Kira did Not look happy, but it made sense. "I'll be your hand maid. I suppose worse things could have happened." Lyoko nodded and seeing that Kira was still tired they left.
"She didn't look happy about the choice." They returned to their babies who were wide away and laying on the grass next to Kari. "Took them out of their crib huh?" The cat nodded and looked at her cubs playing a little ways off.

Ryu nods and says "indeed, but what I said is true. The kitsune race is known for being tricksters and thus aren't trusted all that well. For now, you will just have to show her that she is better off, and greatful for her helping you." He would move to sit with his children, Kaori and Megumi crawling toward him, yielding a smile from him.
