"Krrrrn!" The probe squealed mechanically as it was pressed back, gears grinding some before it continued forwards. It made little motions to dodge the rocks, chittering and beeping as it did so. Soon the creature had attracted all four of the things, the other three moving in swiftly. Mugiri would prove much more exciting a specimen then the nearby rocks, which could wait and wouldn't wander astray. So it was that the small drones moved to encircle the man, each tiny dog-sized thing advancing cautiously.
And in the distance, cloaked and watching, a unit charged its rifle. Just in case Mugiri got a little too violent.

Nana_Wing Y-yes, I do teach them, but others aswell. We have a few others here, that are learning with the children. *Nana meant Cole and whom ever else came to the lessons she taught at the library and immediate area surrounding it. Phia was right though, the library Mastema had given Nana was probably the size of the mansion. Nana also had plans to gather a few more books yet aswell, and expand the library slightly to accomidate them. Nana seemed a little sheepish upon the next question asked* Hnn... w-well, a few hobbies and such... Anything to try and keep busy I suppose. " 'obbies?" Phia tilted her head at Nana, she didn't think Nana would share too many of the same hobbies. After all Phia liked to drink and train untill she passed out. But prehaps Nana liked to read. Devon squirmed a bit in her arms, knocking the book from them, it bounced and slid a few feet from Phia and she cringed. She couldn't stand seeing such a nice volume in the dirt, she began to walk foreward and pick it up, dusting it off. "Wha' kind of 'obbies?" She tilted her head.

*Nana would continue to be sheepish, as she continued on with a few of her hobbies. Drinking and trainning until she passed out were two things Nana certainly did not do*
W--well... I sew; read to pass the time. I refurbished a piano once... Hnn, also... I built a friend.
*The friend Nana mentioned of course was Proto. Nana never really treated Proto like a lifeless machine, but like another living, breathing creature; never walking ahead but beside. Never giving Proto a task, Nana herself was unable to do, though of course a bit of help was always welcome. Thanatos had helped program Proto in the beginning, and was also his friend aswell. Phia might find the statement a little odd at first though. Nana continued*
I may start doing a bit of gardening. Oh... I like magic too I guess. H-how about you?

"I read like a maniac..." She held up the book with a small smile. "When the kids are young its nice to play with them. I fence, train, paint...not much 'owever. I used to be a doctor, occasionally get to practice but I supposed its good tha' I don't get to."

"What's this?" Zackala dropped the small haversack strung over his shoulder to the ground and covered the two steps it required to reach the nightstand. Gripping the paper in both hands, he held it up to the dim light emanating from the ceiling lamp. "You are cordially invited..." he began to read aloud, then silently scanned the paper with his eyes.
"An... invitation?" He exclaimed, astonished. Not only was he surprised anyone found where he lived, down in this basement, but he was also invited to a party! Zackala usually remained underground amongst his trinkets, only leaving to search for more junk once a day, and even then the only contact he had was with the citadel robots. But here! A chance to meet some of the residents! Zackala plopped down on his bed and thought about what preparations he would need to make, and where the hell this "Seven Hells Temple" is located.

O-oh? What kind of books? Fence? Oh..! Fencing, with swords right? Hnn~ Yes, its always a good thing when you don't have to practice your craft as a doctor. Yes, playing helps them grow all the more.
^///^
*Nana liked talking about children the most, it reminded her of the past time she used to have in heaven before becoming what she was now. Playing with children and helping them grow was rewarding, it was something Nana didn't forget and put towards her own children now. Meanwhile the children themselves seemed to be getting a little bored just standing there, listening to the grownups talk. Nana was going to take them somewhere before Mastema invited them to follow and meet the Black Company member, who was now before them*

Mugiri drew his white katana with his left hand, and took a defensive stance. He started twirling his right wrist, the sinds getting slightly more violent, kicking up dust devils. He was cautious of the objects. He was looking around for a way to distract them, but he saw nothing of use.

"Books? Mostly Medical Textbooks, I'm kind of a nerd 'bout tha' I guess" She smiled sheepishly. "...But, I do like to read about 'istory, oth'r cultures, well, anything I guess. I love reading, I'm a bit obsessed." She smiled. Devon had long since lost intrest in staring at Micha and and began to stare at Eecheb then his sister, he watched them curiosly. They were new to him, much like the woman standing in front of them. Phia's hand reached up and she ran her fingers through the soft, fluffy white hair on his head to calm him a bit. Devon's eyes lowered and he rubbed his head into his mother's palm.

*One thing Devon would have likely been interested in, would have been Eecheb's tail. The snake like appendage would swing back and forth like a cat's tail, then disappear around the boy's middle like a belt to get warmth from his belly. With Trilla it was more like a game of peak-a-boo, as she would scoot behind Nana, then peak out to look at Phia and Devon. Micha's eyes would focus on both Phia and Devon, again as if to stare a hole right through them. Both Nana and Phia were in a bit of a sheepish mode now, making it a tad awkward. If they didn't do something soon, well the children would go mad with boredom and would leave Phia and Nana behind. Perhaps Phia would like to accompany Nana and the children to visit Slayer. It had been quite some time since those two had seen eachother*
History? Oh. Well it isn't a bad obsession to have.
*It was a little amusing hearing Phia say History. Nana had lived a good deal of it herself. There were sure to be stories she could tell*

One of the probes dared a dustdevil, getting too close. The small thing woud accidentally topple over, kicking its little legs uselessly as it whirred and screached. Stuck on its side, the others merely spared it a glance, before selfless trying to close on the katana to touch and scan it. Little limbs would reach out for the thing curiously, trying to snatch it away from Mugiri.

Mugiri let the things examine his katana, but he refused to let it go, entering a slight tub of war with the probes. He stopped kicking up the dust devils, as they were so close. He tried swinging the katana a bit, to throw them off.

Phia smiled and shrugged.
"I guess that It's not bad but My 'usband thought it 'umerous tha' I read books instead of ask'n 'im, cause, well 'e's old but then 'gain tha's fairly common 'round 'ere I guess. " She shrugged a bit. Something tugged at her mind, it might have been that she was subconciously channeling Nana's plans but she asked the question before she ment to. "Isn't Slay'r one of Mastema's...Generals?" She couldn't think of a better term. 'Minion' sounded demeaning and despite Slayer's betrayal he didn't deserve that lowly title.

*Nana would make a light chuckle; it was true, there were a lot of older people in this region of the world, including Nana herself. Then there was Slayer, Sho, Mastema, and several more outside of the Citadel. Hearing Phia's question, Nana would of course reply*
Hmm, he was. Slayer has retired from being a General now it seems. Would you... like to visit him?
(( Given our current speed it might be best to go to the party, 'then' visit Slayer xp ))

[[ok]]
Phia paused and thought about it for a moment. Well, no one was really on the hommicidal streak in this citadel so why not?
"Sure, I'd be delighted."
