The past month has been a conglomerate of emotions and activity. But finally have orders. Late next month I will be going on leave for about a month and then on to my next duty station...

I'm looking for a word. I know I've seen it in this forum but I can't find it quickly. It means speech or behavior that may be discriminatory by gender, ethnicity, sex, ability, etc., though it connotates unintentional or ingrained behavior. I believe it was used to describe the G-word here among others. I need it to politely explain to a professor that her 15-minute diatribe about twenty-somethings and their cell phone use ("They're all ADHD, diagnosed or not") prevented me from giving her my full attention during the following 6-hour jog from buzzword to buzzword.
My google-fu is weak today. Help?

In Hawaii!!! They changed my orders, gonk I'm not going to be leaving Virginia till early next month, taking leave, and then going to Florida. Sad panda because I was looking forward to that island, but it's still a good place and I've already gotten in touch with people there.

I'm still alive and still incredibly wishy-washy about what I'm doing with my spiritual life. And yet the fact that it's Memorial Day makes me really somber and thoughtful? When maybe it would be more productive to go outside and enjoy the sunshine? I don't know.
Now I shall spend hours working on my pathways thread so maybe one day it can be functional. woohoo.
