Hebal glared at Alpha seeing him eyeing up one of the security guards as she handed over head spear "They always do this. I think the elder is a little paranoid convinced that theres always someone here out to get her. Ahh I wanna see a viera angel now, feathers totally dont go with fur so would be interesting to see the results" she laughed watching her blade being safely stored away in a cabinet
Alpha paused allowing the viera to search him for any weapons seeing that he had none to hand over to them "Better to be safe than sorry, you never know when an assassin might show up to cause bother. And if one does I don't fight with weapons so could easily stop them although... its a little strict isn't it" he groaned surprised to see that they had settled for taking his walking stick.
Ardie gasped "Sounds interesting provided the animals aren't like bunny rabbits and lambs, thats not impressive. We don't get any stuff like that in this boring place meaning all the more reason to leave here as soon as possible for the outside world. But can't loads of people use magic, why is a magician so special?"

Felina nodded happily in agreement "Yeah it's great to have time without being watched and 'I'm pretty sure Hayate knows I would rather have ore alone time. But I don't plan to have a major shopping trip while back home in Yithra and considering the amount of clothes I own, I really don't need anymore new things. As for the boots I'm still deciding between getting a red or a white pair"
Satoshi raised her eyebrow allowing Gil to pull her along "Do you even know how to fish? I wouldn't habe thought it was a skill that you would bother learning since you don't actually like the taste of fish. They aren't epecially big ones that swim about the village either and might accidentally hook up the odd shuriken in there" she snickered.

Gil shrugged "I've always wanted to try it plus if I learn it'll mean I can fish some food for Enkidu pretty easily, I think he sometimes tries to catch fish by diving in the water but he's never really successful" he said "And catching a shuriken would be pretty practical if you ask me" he said.
Oassu scratched his head "How can you know what shoes you want before you've even seen any?" he asked. "Still you can have plenty of alone time with me once married, though do you think we'll stop adventuring once we're married up?" he asked her.
Jeckhart nodded with a slight smile "Oh I don't know one of the elder Angels has fur and it's not so bad besides I'm sure you'd like a pair of wings regardless of whether it looked good or not" he said frowning "Is it really appropriate for them to take his walking stick?" he asked giving the guards a curious look.
Zadina shook his head "Oh no normally it's like lions and bears that they tame, at least that's what I've heard" he said shrugging "Though once we leave on a pilgrimage we won't be able to just go to all the fun places going to need to go important places" he said pausing for a moment "Well you see a Magician isn't exactly a mage like I am, they use conventional magic, sleight of hand, illusions and stuff like that, they manage to pull off magic without using any mana energy" he said.

Hebal sighed with slight relief as the other viera backed off and opened the door to them "I guess they can do what they want but I'm sure Alpha can manage fine without it, seen him do that pleanty of times" she assured him flapping her arms about in the air "Well it would be awesome to have some wings, being able to fly about over everybody who would look like ants from being so high up. Though it would be a bonus if I could look pretty as well"
Alpha grunted looking back at the viera "They can keep it if they want, its more for the sake of posing as defenceless old guy. It's just surprising that they aren't more respectful to their elders. Though I'm sure you would look good with wings or claws or whatever Hebal" he assured her.
"So they are like either illusionists or pretendy wanna be mages? Surely they could be good with magic if they put just as much time and effort into spell casting as they did making up their tricks." Ardie guessed hopping over the low fence that surrounded the playpark. She put her finger to her lip, telling Zadina to be quiet as she attempted to sneak up upon an unsuspecting Amane across the park.

Satoshi shrugged having a huge yawn mid climb "That depends on whether your starving or willing to try your luck at hunting with it afterwards. Most of the sharp objects are removed from the water after training sessions but in the much deeper waters you can imagine some of them get missed during cleanup. Though if you would like I could teach you how to fish no problem be it with a rod or a net" she offered.
Felina smiled putting the hood up on her coat seeing the snow begin to fall again "Sometimes its a good idea to have an idea of something in mind to buy in the way of clothes. And I may be travelling about the place but I still know the current fashions of Yithra. Red is in fashion at the moment but on the other hand white would match this coat" she answered allowing a shivering Cid to climb into her coat. "Would you like to stop adventuring once married? If the answer is yes we can settle down somewhere. If the answers no then we can keep travelling. I'm in no hurry to stop and settle, we've got centuries to have a family"

Gil smiled "Sure could be a nice thing to do when we're not hanging around with your family" he said "Though I imagine if you keep dropping sharp objects in your waters they won't be fit for fish nevermind swimming and stuff though is your place really absolutely filled with water?" he asked.
Oassu shivered "Geez it's cold out here" he groaned "Heh you are so lucky Cid getting to relax in there" he said nuzzling Felina "Another little spell would be good if that's ok?" he asked "And your right, guess I need to get into the elven mindset if I'm supposed to be used to the lifespan thing" he said.
Jeckhart sighed "Well lets get going, I'd rather not spend too long in this forest and I'm sure our hosts would rather see the back of us as well unfortunately" he said glancing back at the guards as they went inside.
Zadina giggled "Yes they are quite like that though they don't want to be mages they do fine as they are but please don't care Miss Amane too much, wouldn't want to ake her cry!" he warned concern in his voice.

Ardie paused creeping up behind Amane "Boo!" she shouted causing the poor viera to almost jump out of her skin in fight "Hiya Amane now don't get mad, I may have given you a shock but its totally worth it" she greeted Amane spinning her around to face Zadina not giving her a chance to say anything in the process "Wheres Yenytai by the way"
Amane gasped more out of surprise to see Zadina than sfor being surprised "Oh wow, Hiii!" she squealed hopping up towards Zadina and pulled him into a tight hug "Now I never thought I was going to see you quite so soon, how you been and what brings you here" she sung dancing around with Zadina in the hug. "Does that mean mommas here too and everyone else?"
Alpha yawned swiftly shuffling down the short hallway "Thats viera forests for you, never happy to see anyone present unless you were actually born in the forest. It's no wonder some of the villages and forests get such a bad reputation" he muttered glancing up at the viera towering over them in front
Hebal frowned covering both Alpha and Jeckharts moths "shh shh shh you two, be quiet with the complaints and save them until later until she can't hear them. Otherwise she might get mad and the happier she is the better because if she likes you guys she'll be less reluctant next time to stop Amane travelling with me" she insisted.
The old viera raised her eyebrow having detected their presence despite her lack of vision. "Who goes there outsiders, state your business and who you are and make it quick" she demanded sniffing about hoping for more clues about the people in front of her.

Satoshi nodded expecting some sort of negtive reaction from Gil "Yep its full of water and bridges connecting up lot of little islands that used to be one big strip of land until it once had a really bad flood. Sorry about that and trust me, you won't have to spend too much time with my family, they aren't that invasive. Well my older brother might ask lots of questions but he's just being protective, he knows what bad luck I've had in the past"
Felina laughed wrapping her arms around Oassu while she prepared for him another spell "Just think as well once you have a child it would be nearly half a milennium before they grew up and got old enough to move out and do their own thing. So lets enjoy things while we can and when still young enough to do everything"
"YENYTAI!" came the loud high pitched shriek of certain nymph as she pounced upon an unsuspecting Ardie "Hehe Yenytai caught you good Ardeee" she giggled helping her off her ground.

Gil nodded "Well your big brother is welcome to ask whatever he likes but I'm pretty good at protecting people so he needn't worry, then again I guess not many people would know those stories of me over here" he said shrugging.
Oassu chuckled enjoying the closeness and the warmth "Well that's certainly a weird thought but ok I'll just need to get used to that kinda lifespan, how long do elves life for anyway?" he asked as the stepped into the shopping district "So what's a good shop then?" he asked.
Zadina giggled returning the hug to the smaller Viera "Well that's a super secret surprise but yes Cap'n Alpha your mother and a new friend Mr Jeckhart are here with me and we've got an awesome Dragon Festival present for you!" he said happily resisting the temptation to pet Amane's ears "And hello there Yenytai! It's nice to see you again!" he said over Amane's head.

Amane burst out laughing releasing Zadina from her hug "Hehe and thats what you get for sneaking up on people, a taste of your own medicine" she teased Ardie and stuck her tongue out at her. "Now, what was that about a present? I have you one but... I sent it off already by mognet. Guess you'll get it real soon if mum hasn't picked it up already" she mumbled.
Ardie groaned shrugging off Amane's comment "Yeah yeah you got me this time but next time you won't be so lucky, I'll be ready for it" she told the nymph gently removing a branch that her jumper had got caught upon.
Hebal hesitated stepping forward "No need to be so grumpy, it's just me. The most awesome armourer in town Hebal. We're here to like uh.. well the elven royals would like Amane to go visit them over the next few days, I have the letter and everything here" she explained hopping up and handing the piece of paper over.
The elder squinted having to hold the letter right up close to her face just to make out the letters on the page "Thats all very well though may I ask why they have so much interest in your daughter and surely it would have been more polite for them to send a messenger at least rather than you and two 'humans'. If you are humans... something smells off" she remarked handing back the letter.
"Well you know that Yithra is still in rubble after what happened there so the royals that made the request are a little tied down trying to get their city up and running. Too busy to make small errands like this because of that" Alpha lied suspecting if he told the truth then she would expect to be able to talk to Zadina.

Felina scratched her head in thought "Well it varies a little bit depending on your nationality. The elves from the desert like Hayate only tend to live to on average for about 1900 years, where as elves from Yithra tend to live to about 2050 on average" she explained looking at the stores. "Well some of these stores I've never heared of but I do know that that couple of shops on the left is all designer clothes. How fancy do you want to go since its my treat" she grinned.
Satoshi shook her head "Not physically, like a lot of men have messed me about before, guys can be right idiots sometime but you've got nothing to hide so you'll be fine. You both have similar pets so you've at least got one thing in common too. As for your stories, some people know who you are its just that less people know than your used to. One of my team mates apparently knows all your stories though bets one or two have been exaggerated quite a bit"
Yenytai giggled jumping around trying to get as close to Zadina as she could for attention "No way, Yennytai gonna keep sneaking up on you forever" she boasted before pointing to her clothing so the elf would notice "Hiyaa Zadeenaaa lookie what Amany made for me so I wouldn't get cold. Whats the surprise. Yenytai don't like surprises. Surprises usually nasty fiends trying to eat Yenytai"

Oassu scratched his chin "Hmm what will I live too with this artifact then? And will I need to keep it on me all the time or can I like take it off to wash and stuff?" he asked uncertainly "I don't really care so long as the coat is comfortable and warm" he said.
Gil smiled "Well I'm sure he's right about the exaggerations but not matter now we're almost at the forest" he said as he begun descending down the hill "It's not like it matters anyway means I'll get treated a bit more normally, though hopefully people won't freak out at my arms, some people do if they don't know of me." he said.
Zadina giggled "Well I suppose I can tell you now seeing as Miss Hebal and the others are working on it though you did kinda teach Yenytai how to ambush people Miss Ardie" he said kneeling down by Yenytai "It's certainly a lovely jumper Yenytai but where is little Miss Milly around at this time?" he said not seeing the little pot around anywhere "Also the surprise is we're going to take Miss Amane away for a holiday this Dragon Festival!" he announced happily.
Jeckhart frowned unsure why Alpha would conceal the truth "My Lady Elder Pumphpin, Lord Zadina has already left to explain the situation to Miss Amane which is why he is not present with us right now. During his last visit to your lovely village he became close to the young Amane and since he is currently lacking many friends his own age he requests that Amane join him for the upcoming Dragon Festival" he said bowing low.

Amane came to a sudden stop, shocked by Zadina's news she said nothing for a moment "Woah wait a minute did you just say you were taking me out the forest? Where are we going? Somewhere fun? Somewhere dangerous? Am I even allowed to go out the forest? Does grandma know yet? she interrogated him with a combination of excitement and a little bit of fear.
Ardie snickered patting Amane on the shoulder "Relax ok, your going to leave the forest for the first time. Most of us have to wait for ever and ever before people will even consider letting us go you lucky thing" she smiled . "Yenytai was ambushing people long before I did it, she may look cute but she is tricksy"
Hebal nodded "Yep thats right but its true about the Princess Felina who wrote the letter being home to look after her people" she added on before whispering to Jeckhart slightly impressed "So how come you know who the lady is, I don't think I told you her name. Did you do your research?"
Pumphin scratched her chin carefully examining the seal on the letter one last time "In that case I suppose I should let her go for the time being. It is in the best interests of the village to stay on good terms with the elves. Though I hope you are able to look after her properly and you are more than aware of the consequences if she is not returned within the given time" she lectured reaching for a pen of her own. "You have 3 days leave starting from the moment you leave the village"
Alpha smiled watching the elders own stamp being slapped down upon the paper "Thanks, Amane will be in safe hands. We've got a really good airship and with elven royals comes some of the best bodyguards one can get" he assured her.

Felina shrugged "I don't know, maybe about the same age as me, 2000 is a good number to expect since its somewhere in the middle. Could go up to the record if you stay in perfect health which is something like 2550. But no you will have to wear it. If you take it off you'll start aging at the rate you would if you were human so I guess also it wouldn't be so bad if you took it of when you showered. Whats 5 minutes in the bathroom afterall" she answered leading him into the most expensive shop on the street.
Satoshi nodded looking forward to not having so many hills "Yep through the forest and to the waterfall we go. Its what marks the village enterence since that lies directly behind it. Though you would be surprised what shapes and sizes some ninajas are like nowerdays. Nobosy will especially care about the extra arms and many will think its an incredibly useful thing to have for any ninja skill"

Yenytai proudly puffed her chest out "Yenytai never had clothes before. Clothes make Yenytai so much warmer in cold season. Milly not so fortunate. Amany made her hat but hat not warm enough and snow stop Milly moving about and get buried in snow so Milly gone sleepy for cold time. Milly wakey up to see next flower grow time" she tried to explain
