[ Yukari ] i'm looking for a place where work /will/ find me. started looking too late. ): with the economy as it is, openings are hard to find too. I hear ya, same here. Finding a new job is hard, even with working experience. P.S. Two days since my last cookie, and I'm goin strong!

[ Yukari ] i'm looking for a place where work /will/ find me. started looking too late. ): with the economy as it is, openings are hard to find too. I started too early. No one would hire me because I still had Track... And once it was done their jobs were already filled by people who aren't super fast runners with a great worth ethic.
And I shall never return to the golf course near my house. Pft, $4.25 an hour? If I did have to drive I wouldn't actually make money. I wonder if they increased their wages this year or not. Still, NEVER! Unless I get a job in the kitchen.
I'm off on vacation tomorrow afternoon as well so I won't be around till Sunday/Monday. And then I have a week before a running camp. This month is going to fly by...

Jobs up here aren't as hard to find as they once were. They are hiring and training a lot of people all over the place. More so at call centers naturally. I work as a summer student at a utility company...and it's a good job.

I does enjoy me the fine Canada air. Mayhaps when I can drives I'll take a trip up there, see some of you guys and what not. Then again, I wouldn't have a car reliable enough to take me to Canada.

No, this isn't a dream. I'm actually making a post for the first time in about 87 years. (Or maybe in reality, like... one year.) After speaking with both Max and Mike (the former of which I spoke to in person during my recent visit to Texas), it has come to my attention that I'm actually wanted back here. When I was told that, I kind of felt a bit flattered that people were missing me. Well, I've good news and bad; the good news: I'd love to come back. I do indeed miss TTR and I would love to continue and possibly even finish the Maorde subplot. The bad news: I don't have a computer.
See, back on April 2, my computer was infested with a virus that raped the hell out of like, everything. My files were able to be salvaged thanks to my genius neighbor who helped me out. However, at this point in time, I don't have money to afford a new computer. My neighbor fixes computers for a living, and he said that if I were to give him a couple hundred dollars, he'd give me a brand-new computer. That's an amazing deal and everything, but as I said before, I recently (as in this Tuesday) got back from a two-week trip to Texas to visit Max and a certain other special person. Because of that, and because I don't have a job at the moment-- this is going to be remedied in the coming week, however-- I am effectively broke. Also, when I do start making money, I'm going to be adhering to an extremely strict budget; I'm moving to Texas next July, so I need to save up as much money as humanly possible before I leave. I'm not sure where the money for a new computer will come from, but with any luck I'll figure something out. And for those of you who are reading this and wondering how I'm typing this in the first place: I'm on my Wii. Back in mid-March, two weeks before my computer died, I got broadband, so now after seven years of being oppressed by a modem, I have fast internet. I suppose that if worse comes to worst, I could always use the Wii to type up my posts, but... eh. Well, we'll see what happens.
In the meantime, because of the fact that I have broadband, I can play Super Smash Bros. Brawl and PBR online. If anyone ever wants to play, let me know, and I'll swap my friend codes with you. <3
And this concludes my post. But don't worry, there'll be many more to come.
