aretoo HermieKrab Shadow_Forged what if the von helsons arent vampires and edmund is, i mean he does stay in a dark, little shop with dark clothing on. That's what I was thinking surprised ...On the other hand, EDMUND'S the one asking for garlic. ^_^ yeah i forgot vamps hate garlic for a second.

So do I... Well, on this street it is, we didn't get hit by it. Though I had no idea what was going on, because the thunder woke me up. When I looked out the window there was rain coming down in sheets, and it started hailing. I went, "Wait, the wind... it's too high. Something isn't right here..." The lightening was coming straight down... Where my sisters were at camp had to be closed. Trees had gotten ripped up and thrown into the pool, trees were on fire.... THere are fires everywhere. It's insane outside...

No one wcould call me and I couldn't call anyone either, because the power was down. Actually, all of the power in the neighborhood went down. I do mean ALL of it. Shops, restaurants...everything.... Yeah, my sisters are okay, mother is home now. It didn't hit her until a bit after she heard about it that I was home alone though.

aretoo Well, that's good to hear; they must have gotten the power back up pretty quickly for you! ^_^ If your counting a good three or four hours as fast, then yes they did.

heh... having grown up in a rural area where, when the power went out, we could be waiting 12 hours or so... yeah, that's pretty fast... wink

Heh, yeah. One time it took about a week for our power to get back up.

We had a storm the other day, and I use the word "storm" lightly.
Two thunderclaps, and that was it.

But the rain! gonk So much rain!
Saying that, I quite like storms. I like 'em even better when there's someone there to enjoy them with me... *hopeless romantic*
