Gil nodded adding a tip to the bill from his own funds "Right though we'll need to check out first so that'll be my treat" he said reaching down to get his helmet and reattach it "Though it's odd for a scenic route to add such little time to it but I bet you're just glad we'll get some alone time together in peace" he said "That's assuming the path to your village isn't littered with stealthy ninja watching for enemies" he chuckled.
Oassu smirked "Well Hayate is right but moogles are nice trustworthy people and besides Felina is much more capable now than she's ever been before though you've certainly got an odd taste in breakfast today" he said making a note to try some of Felina's milkshake.
Jeckhart gasped running after Hebal "Lady Hebal are you alright?" he cried before clumsily running on the same icy patch Hebal had fallen on before spiralling into the snow a little to the left of Hebal herself.
Zadina gasped then laughed out loud as Jeckhart got stuck in the snow "Oh Miss Hebal, Mr Jeckhart please you two are too funny at times" he giggled between breaths before hovering over to them "Are you both alright? None of you are hurt are you?" he asked preparing a cure spell just in case.

Alpha snickered bending down and pulling them back up to their feet "Perhaps you two would be better off floating for a little while if your gonna run off like that. Now don't panic, while I can't heal any injuries I can at least deal with the heat loss" he smiled putting an arm around each of them while he generated enough heat to get them reasonably dry.
Hebal smiled rubbing her ankle for a moment "I'll be ok, i'm fine. Just a few bruises, and a small cut not that anyone will be able to see them under the fur" she assured them after a brief examination. "Still thats odd, I've never had any bother in the past... maybe I'm getting all old" she groaned.

"The scenic route is the shorter route in terms of distence, it's just that after you throw in all the hill climbing to that trip the time catches up to about the same as the other route with less views. And sure theres always ninja watching you around here, just so long as you don't try anything dodgy then they will get bored of you and eventually " Satoshi smirked reluctanty getting up off her seat
Felina groaned "I don't need the lecture really, I didn't pick the moogle boat just because they all looked so cute and fluffy. As for breakfast, I'm in the mood for something both fruity and filling but the two rarely go hand in hand. Though between you three I think mum is happy I'm getting more independent. Just not happy about the method" she smiled.
Hayate snickered "Oh sure she likes tyo see your doing well but it wasn't quite what she had in mind when she first thought of you leaving the nest and settling down with a 'nice' husband" he quietly answered leaning back into his chair "So what have you guys got planned for this holiday if anything?"

Gil chuckled "We'll see hopefully won't be too nosy, so is there a ninja spying on us right now?" he said signing out at the checkout and paying for the room before moving to leave the house "And I hope they won't see an armoured warrior and assume it means trouble for them" he said whistling to Enkidu.
Oassu shrugged "I'll be a fine husband so she needn't worry but I don't really know what we're going to be doing here" he shrugged "Just spending time with the family, probably help out with a couple of reparations and stuff to kill time since I'll bet Felina will want to spend time with her family" he said.
Zadina frowned letting the cure spell fly to Hebal "There you go Miss Hebal that should help you out, your not getting old you just must have trouble running on ice in those shoes and Mr Jeckhart isn't too experienced on his feet" he said watching as a dizzy Jeckhart healed his own ankle "Ow..thank you Lord Zadina I'm fine but don't worry Lady Hebal ice is normally slippy like this," he sighed

Alpha chuckled eventually loosening his grip and letting go of them "There ya go all nice and dry too. It's generally best to just jump over any icy bits when you can but you also need to look out for any ice that you can't see" he advised floating a little way ahead "Anyway lets forget about that and think of happier stuff. Like that" he added poiting to a footpath ahead and some nearby houses as they reached the outskirts.
Hebal cheered and bounced around almost slipping again on a very similar patch of ice "You don't have to keep calling us lord and lady all the time you know. We won't get mad if you just use our first names" she told Jeckhart pretending not to notice that she nearly fell over again. "We're in the scruffy end of town right now but the people are still really nice, moreso than all the snobby ones in the area your used to seeing."

Satoshi smirked shaking her head "Now your bordering on paranoia" she teased taking hold of one of his hands. "As much as you might stand out to anyone watching, your with me in a place crawling with ninja from the same village. Basically your in good company" she assured him allowing Terrato to climb up the arms, "I can teleport you from in here, these guys are probably used to seeing such things by now"
Felina grinned "Yeah you'll be a great husband no doubt about it. But yeah we've got no plans to do anything in particular apart from going to the main festival itself. Haven't been there for ages and I'm sure it will still be a massive event despite all the city damages. Though don't worry, we won't need to spend the whole time repairing and entertaining family. We need fun too"
Hayate gave a nod happy to see that their breakfast was already heading straight towards them "The budget is a little lower than usual because of the damages but still theres pleanty going on for the festival. You know your dad is a right show off when it comes to organising the events. Though nobody will be offended if you don't help out with the work... do you even know how to build things?" he wondered.

Gil shrugged "Well I'm not paranoid if everyone here is used to ninja means they could be right here right now. Though would be odd to see someone like me, someone naive might think I'm just some kinda giant mechanical doll in this get up" he snickered at the thought as he picked up Enkidu.
Oassu sighed "Well I want to help out, besides I can at least do manual labour, they're always going to need people to carry stuff and whatnot and with a couple clones I reckon I can speed up somethings" he said "Times like this communities tend to pull together so I should be able to do something" he said sitting back as the waitress arrived with food.
Jeckhart frowned "As you wish Hebal" he said "Thanks for the warmth Captain, yet you shouldn't go so far ahead Captain, remember we've not encountered patrols yet so we've still to request entry to the village" he advised finishing healing the minor wound on his ankle.
Zadina nodded "I'm only a little lord anyway Mr Jeckhart but I don't really recall visiting that area of the village much...are we at risk of thieves?" he asked nervously moving closer to Hebal "They are still friendly in the scruffy section of town aren't they?" he asked.

Alpha scratched his chin "I don't recall anyone maing us gain permission last time because we were guests of Hebal's but in all the other places I'm sure they would be more hostile. As for the warmth, no bother really. Just try not to slip over again and get hurt again" he said before turning to Zadina "I think we could easily deal with a few thieves if they came by"
"Oh yes the people from downtown are very friendly and nobody steals from anyone so you guys are perfectly safe" Hebal sung watching the people in the street twist themselves around to look at the new arrivals to the village. Seeing Hebal was leading them some of them turned away and lowered any weapons that had been pointed in their direction "Um hiiii there Lenntia, we're not here to cayse any bother, honest" she quickly assured one of the taller viera who was still pointing her blade suspiciously.
The viera identified as Lenntia growled quietly for a moment before eventually lowering her weapon "You should have let people know that you were coming back. And may I suggest that you not to bring so many outsiders in future" she told her huffishly then moved away.
Hebal groaned waiting until she had moved away before saying "Just ignore that lady, she's one of the rare grumpy antisocial people in the village who doesn't like anyone not a viera from coming to say hi"

Satoshi laughed "Someone who doesn't know anything about you and living in a cave maybe so. But you can always take that armour off and let me dress you up a little back at my apartment if you want to avoid that happening" she whispered closing her eyeswhile she focused on teleporting them out the hotel whooshing them past various houses and fields and trees. "Ok this is as close as we can get away with. First we climb these hills then make our way through the forest at the bottom of the valley. It's a longer trip than it sounds" she explainted pointing north to the hills across a stretch of green fields.
Felina smiled rubbing Oassu's shoulder "It's nice of you to want to do it and with magic, expecially white magic you'll never run out of energy or struggle with lifting things up and about. Aren't you gonna help out a little Hayate? But I must say I'm impressed by how fast they are getting the food out" she commented seeing just how busy the place actually was.
Hayate paused speaking only for a moment to thank the staff for bringing the food "Well I hadn't actually planned to help out but I most likely will give them a hand repairing. But first, I want to check my house is all finished and repaired. Last time I was home, there was a huge hole in the wall" he sighed.

Gil shrugged stretching as he placed Enkidu down who instantly bounded off seeing he had space to run about in "You forget I spend most of my time travelling by foot, most jobs I pick up find me in the wilderness as opposed to me choosing a job in a city" he said "A little trek is nothing to me" he said starting towards the hills "But are you not allowed to teleport closer for safety reasons?" he asked.
Oassu nodded "Well hopefully your renovated house will be better than it was before" he said taking a drink "But yeah I'm sure it'll be fine helping fix a couple things while I'm in town will give me something to do during the day, might be awkward if it was just me and your father or Corella or worst your mother in the palace all day" he said.
Zadina frowned "Well she was certainly rude," he said resisting the temptation to curse the person "Besides you've brought less outsiders than you did last time" he said following Hebal through the town "Though who would we need to speak to about getting Miss Amane out for the Dragon Festival holidays?" he asked watching as a couple of small toddler Viera stopped playing to watch the newcomers.
Jeckhart frowned "A story has it one of the creators fell in love with the first ever Viera but due to his responsibilities he had to leave her alone and she became embittered to outsiders and taught it to all her daughters, to reconcile he made a male Viera to keep the first Viera company in his place but the first Viera recognised it and treated the male with scorn and hatred driving him away which is why they are more aggressive and Viera don't commonly stay together" he shrugged "It is however just a story as far as I know I imagine the Viera have different tales about how they came to be" he said

Hebal frowned "That story makes us sound like a bunch of right meanies. And may I say to give the males some credit, Amane's dad wasn't a bad guy but we need to see the village elder about taking Amane away. She likes to feel important so the idea of getting on the elven royals good side will probably appeal to her" she giggled making a rude gesture at Lenntia the moment her back was turned.
Alpha snickered resisting the urge to accidentally set that viera's bag on fire "So long as I'm not expected to try and sweet talk your elder thats fine and don't let viera like that push you about as most wouldn't stand a chance against you in a fight" he stated with a grin as he spotted up ahead a familiar trolley full of free drinks outside one house.

Satoshi shook her head "Not exactly, you see there is a sort of barrier around the area that stops people from teleporting any closer. Some nice little nu mou put it up many years ago and nobody had any luck dispelling it. Still it prevents enemy ninja from teleporting directly into the village for an attack" she laughed watching Enkidu running off.
Hayate snickered "You never know, you might have a lot in common with one of them and end up doing something less awkward. But hopefully the wall will be fixed up when I get home and then as a bonus it would be nice if my heating was working again but that broke long before then" he added tucking straight into his bacon.
Felina paused trying out her milkshake "I doubt Oassu and Dad have all that much in common really but Corella at least would be very friendly. The milkshake is good by the way" she smiled moving onto her food "I bet the palace and gardens was fixed in no time unlike some of the houses. But any walls like yours need to have been filled up to avoid looters meaning it's probably fine now"

Gil nodded "Well would be a bit of pain if someone dispelled it out of nowhere, having to get another Nu Mou back to fix it but sure that's an understandable safety measure against other ninja, are you at war with anyone right now?" he asked.
Oassu shrugged trying his muffin "Well I'll just go try and help on some of the houses and whatnot then if I've got nothing to do and I get sick of the entertainments of the city" he said chewing his food "Mmmhph ish good!" he said before swallowing "And yeah Corella would be friendly but I'm sure she's got friends and stuff to play with during the day" he said.
Zadina giggled "You don't need to listen to it Miss Hebal and don't make gestures like that, my mother would spank you for that behaviour" he said lightly scolding Hebal "And I'm sure it'll be nice and thankful since she'll have done me and cousin Felina a nice big favour" he said.
Jeckhart grimaced "Please don't be too sad, it is just a story like I said I'm sure the Viera's account of it is far more accurate" he said not wanting to make her sad "Still we should still be on guard in case of more Viera like that lady there" he said.
