"Hello! Teddy. Duh! I do have the Witchblade! With this on they can't touch me. Besides, I'm a performer. Sure it's dance, But I still have to convince people with what I want them to think. I can work on my acting."
She walked backwards up a head to talk to them.
"Besides. Someone has to make sure you don't go native! Like what if they brainwash you or something. I'm there to make sure that doesn't happen."
She spins on her heals and continues to walk forward a little faster then before.
"Now lets get to Zinda's already. I'm starting to get hungry."
They were close she could smell the food even form down below.

"All right," Teddy muttered. He had wanted to talk to them, see what they really wanted. Maybe he could reason with them or something. But it wouldn't be as easy with Dani there to watch them.
"We're getting food?" Teddy freaking loved food.

Logan led the children through the tunnels to a dimly lit, reinforced steel door. He raised a hand....
....and knocked lightly.
"Who's that rap-rap-rapping on my bunker door?" Zinda's voice called out from inside, along with the ubiquitous clicking of the safety on a gun.
"Patches." He replied, with this weird sort of grin on his face. "Now open up so I can get my hands on those big guns of yours."
"You can't handle these guns!" Zinda called as the door clicked and opened. The kids stepped into a brightly lit bunker and all gasped.
It was filled, floor to ceiling with weapons of mass destruction. Zinda herself was sitting on top of a tank, casually holding a rocket launcher. "Y'all are lucky to catch me here," She mentioned as she slipped down. "I actually just came down here to grab some more beef for the Belly Busters out of the freezer."
"Bad things're coming, Zin." Logan nodded as he admired her grenades.
"Figured as much, soon as I saw you were back in town." She nodded. "If you need a place to lay low, this is it. It's off the school grid, able to be locked down secure in sixty seconds, and y'all can check out my rack."
She pointed to a giant rack full of bombs.

See! Check out those torpedoes. Ooo...I think that's a Mark 14 from World War Two!
*Chris went over the old weapons.*
Zinda? Can I touch your torpedoes?

Dani either wasn't paying attention to or was effected by the way Logan and Zinda exchanged greetings. She wondered why she hadn't spent more time at Blackhawks. Now she would. Maybe she'd even try and get a job here. Just to be closer to Zinda.
Zinda was always a beautiful and atractive woman, even as a young woman in her teens, where Dani got to meet her in her native time and element. But Right now, seeing Zinda all fired up, she was exceptionly hot.
"Hi Zinda. heart " Dani said a little excited, there was a soft sigh and a smile.
"You're right Chirs she does have a nice rack." She whispered to him when he walked up to look at the torpedoes. But Dani's eyes were no where near the guns or other weaponry.
"Thanks a lot for letting us stay here. We really need a hide out. You don't have to go back up so soon do you? Maybe you could give me a tour... Only weapon I know about is the one on my wrist."
She held out her bracelet. Showing off her skill with Witchblade (even Sara agreed Dani made it look easy) and intricate design of a rose in the palm of her hand, presenting it to Zinda.

"Eh," Teddy said, "I'm not too interested in Zinda's torpedos." Truth be told, he was more interested in Mr. Murdock's staff than anything else.
"But I can see why you guys would like them." His head tilted back as he looked about the room. So many weapons all in one place. "So. Can we eat?"

*After a brief meal and a thorough inspection of Zinda's rack, the small group gathered around for their next move. Chris cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.*
I have an idea. Basically, we need to free the teachers and our friends. We can't get a handle on this invasion otherwise. I propose we send Teddy and Dani to the Skrulls with an offer of collaborating with them. They want Teddy to be their leader anyway so I think they will jump at the idea. And they can't really replace Dani because none of them will be able to control her Witchblade. Teddy tells them that Dani is his girlfriend and I'm sure they'll accept her as well.
Now, once you two infiltrate their network, I'm sure they'll want to give you their plans. You will be their leader after all. You need to get the Skrulls to show where they keep the people they've taken. If they want to know why, make something up. You want to taunt the teachers or something.
After you find where they are, one of you needs to text Logan, Cho, or myself. They are or are going to be looking for all three us so we will provide a distraction. Once we have they're concentrating on capturing us, you two need to start freeing teachers. With the teachers free, I'm sure they'll take care of this.

"There's one big caveat to your plan." Amadeus spoke plainly. "The only way Teddy could have found out about the Invasion is if I told him. They know I don't belong here, and they know I've been hanging around Teddy. He's going to be suspicious to them if he just shows up with his..."
Amadeus coughed.
"Girlfriend and starts acting like he's ready to take over. No...there has to be an impetus. Something he can do to convince them that not only has he heard about the invasion, but he's decided it's a good idea."
Amadeus ran a hand through his hair.
"I think he needs to give me to them."

Teddy shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other. He was quite hungry, but it seemed that food was not going to be the main reason for this little meeting. "Isn't there another way?" he asked, frowning, "I mean, couldn't I bump into some people who are Skrulls now? Wouldn't they want to take me ...to their...person or whatever?" Did he say leader if they wanted him to be their leader? He wasn't quite sure.

"Focus." Amadeus facepalmed. "I hope once I actually start attending Hero High in the future that every event isn't always this dire. Look. The kids who have been skrulled...Wally and Cassie and so many others...they THINK they're the people they're impersonating. It's the only way to make the impersonation work on a site full of mind-readers. You've been having classes with skrulls for months. You're not going to just bump into one and they're going to ask 'oh hey, have you tried Skrull? It's all the rage!'
"Bloody nass...if I hadn't crash-landed here, how would you all have even found out about the Invasion? Have I created a paradox? There's so much more research on time travel I need to do..."

Yea...sorry. I don't like giving them Cho.
Ditto, bub. They got enough of us already. But I don't see a way around it.

Agreed. Teddy needs to go in with a position of authority right away. Giving them Cho would help cement him as a leader and a participant to their cause. Now, Dani and Teddy, you are not to be separated from each other. She is your girlfriend Teddy and you trust her explicitly. And Dani....drape yourself all over him. Make sure they know in no uncertain terms that you're together. Do not let them split you up for any reason. Signal us when you're led to the prisoners. Logan and I will make some noise.
We have to keep it contained on campus, kid.
I know. I have an idea of what to do too...

Zinda was nice enough to bring them Belly Busters with Fries and Strawberry Milkshakes. She was sure it meant something because Dani loved strawberry milkshakes and her's was a little more full then the others. heart But then Zinda had to leave to mind the store. It was still nice of her though, after all of this, Dani would find a way to say thank you.
Then it was plan time.. and well... some of it was good, some of it wasn't.
"I'm not too keen on the idea of just handing you over to them either Cho... But it is your choice. And well you've made it this far..."
Dani felt awkward about all of this. The girlfriend role, Cho's prisoner role. There was so much that could do wrong here... But they had to, to save their friends.
"It feel so wrong, but I know we have to do this. We better get started before my nerves start getting to me. Last Question. How do we let them know we're giving them Cho?"

We need to find Skrulls. Adults since the kids don't know who they are. Then you can turn Cho over to them with your proposal. Do we have any more of those sunglasses?

"They took my pair." Amadeus grimaced. "Teddy has the only other pair. They're not easy to manufacture when you're trying to AVOID the suspicion of an entire school of metapowered children."
He said 'children' rather disdainfully...rather awkward for a 12-year old.
"All we have to do is go upstairs into Blackhawk's and mingle. Trust me...the adult skrulls will come right to us."

*Logan grunted in agreement.*
Remember, do not let them separate you and contact us for the distraction as soon you safely can. Good luck. Dani? Can I talk to you for a second?

Um, look...I'm pretty worried about Cassie. I wish I could go in there myself...but...
*Chris took a deep breath.*
You can't free her, Wally, or any of the kids first. Make sure you go after Ms Prince and Mr Rogers first. Prince is one of our strongest fighters and Rogers is our best tactical leader. We need the adults first not matter what.
*Chris glanced across the room at Teddy.*
That includes all significant others that may be taken.
