E E P S T E R Thard_Verad HG/SS random info: Janine's team is pathetic. And she doesn't even have TM06 Toxic anymore. Uhm... who's Janine again? Haven't played Silver or Gold or Crystal in a while. EDIT: Oh wait, Koga's niece or something, Fuschia gym leader right? Koga's daughter actually. Yes, Fucshia gym leader. Her only real threat is Crobat, because it's so fast. And I guess if you have a significant level disadvantage it could be trouble. But as a Poison-type Gym, bring Psychic or Steel for an advantage. Even Fire or Flying will help (hint hint).

I agree with him, the only reason I had trouble with her was because I let her Muk use Minimize too many times.

Heh, I'm still at... Uh... Oh, Claire. I'd win if it weren't for the Gyarados. Dragon Rage is super annoying when it's used against you.
I wish they would have made the PokeWalker more like a daycare on the go. Potentially more useful then just one level after a bunch a steps, I shouldn't wonder.*Rant*

I'm still at Claire too. Yes, Gryados is very annoying when you have a Typhlosion and your only defense on Water-Types is a Grass-Type. (Gryados is part Flying)
I still hope that someday the Pokemon people would make a Fire-Electric Type

If you have an electric pokemon Gyrados aren't really too much of a problem, especially a fast one like Electabuzz or even Electrode.

Problem is that there aren't many strong Electric-Types available.

I had very little trouble with Claire. Ampharos took out Gyarados (Magneton could do the same), her Dragonairs aren't horribly terrifying, and Kingdra lost a battle of attrition to Meganium. My favorite pokemon even dodged a Hyper Beam to land the finishing blow.
Unlike the original games where she had three Dragonair and Kingdra. I had Lapras take down Kingdra with the ultimate cheap shot: Perish Song. Just stay alive for three turns and switch to something resistant.

Imagine how fun the battle was.

Hehe, Brian said "Hardened appendage"... Why is it that I can't say anything without it being taken in a sexual manner? First Sammy, and now you...

rofl I'm so glad I was the first one to catch that and say something about it. The sad part is that it was probably said in innocence. And then he mentioned not wanting to get it cut off for future use... I lost it. Sorry I grew up with a gutter-minded family, with whom I still currently reside, don't blame me, blame them.
