You're being called, Kaosu. We'll finish this later. And Kaosu was shocked back into reality. Shaking his head, he looked up at the silhouette of someone. He stood up, patting the dirt off of his hakama.
"Aaalrighty." He sighed, adjusting the strap running across his chest. He held out a hand to him and said, "Kaosu Hokosaki at your service. What's your name, mate?"

Shunketsu noticed some kind of dilemma going on in Shin's head...
"hey! what are you waiting for? I know this isn't your best...((the dice hate you... sweatdrop ))...I respect your ability to fight...At the very least, it's on par with mine...at the very least, you should believe in yourself..."

Shunketsu noticed how discouraged Shin's strikes have become...they no longer had the same amount of energy behind them...Shunketsu stepped off to the side, avoiding the downward strike...
Shunketsu then moved forward, and as he got in position next to Shin, Shunketsu spun and slashed both half-sais at him...

He looked at the blades comming at him. It was like everything freezed up still he and only he could move. He bend down to his knees and looked at the two blades, seeing them going at him. "Hrm.. This is odd". He stod up normaly and took a close look at Shunketsu. His eyes were burried with some kind of emotion, like dispite that he was launching this very blow. "I hate being the one to make people missrable" he took a look around the area. Everything was still. "The classmates, the swords, Nagi-sama.. Wait.. What was that?!" he saw something big and dark standing beside Nagi-sensei, but it dissapered in an instant. "Oh Shin-chan. Are you going to lose agin? Well, it fits your personality.." Shin immiedtly knew who it was. "You.. What are you doing here?". "Just toying with you, I'll be going now. Bye". The voice dissapered and he could see the swords picking up their phase. "Here we go" he moved to where he stod before. Than took the blade right in his ribs, cutting deep into his flesh and clothing. By the preasure of the strike, he flew away, spinning a few laps before he hit the solid ground.

Rei was slightly surprised at the friendly gesture, with a short pause he shook his hand. "...Its...Rei...Huro, Rei....but please...just Rei if you don't mind." Taking back his hand he took a couple of steps back. "......I hope I'm not rushing this but....shall we?" He said almost hesitantly as he slid his sword through his belt not on the side, but more towards the back, making it look as though he had a black tail as he reached for his Zanpaktou's hiltless handle and broke the four sections of black chain that connected the sword to the sheath with one solid jerk, but not a full unsheathing. "I hope I don't...become a waste of your time..." He said lastly as he unsheathed his zanpaktou and held it with both hands and held it so the slightly long blade curved down in front of him, splitting his gaze at Kaosu. He would slide his left foot back a little for stability, which brought attention to his footwear which were ninja tabi instead of sandals....such a strange boy.

"Nice to meet you, Rei." Kaosu said, then caught himself. He'd never said it quite so...formally before. Normally it was 'cool' or something stupid like that. Kaosu shrugged it off as he reached over his right shoulder, taking a grip of his own soul slayer.
Kaosu smirked, standing pretty calmly. "And don't worry about me. I don't have anything better to do, and helping a new student isn't that bad of a deal. Now c'mon, show me what you got."
He crouched down, sliding his zanpakutou out and placing it in front of him. "Let's see what you can do, eh? C'mon, attack me." Kaosu smiled warmly, but it still held a taint of snideness. He knew the kid was new, so he was going to give him a break.

Rei shook his head a little in an attempt to clear something from his mind. "....he knows what hes' doing....just go." He thought and then went at Kaosu although where most would have went for a downward strike, Rei went for an upward on for across his opponents shoulder diagonally, swinging in a semi-circle from the top to be able to do so with both hands on the handle.

Shunketsu knew the moment of the strike that it was over...Rushing over to Shin, Shunketsu picked the guy up and ran for the medical tent...
"hang in there man...you fought well...you fought well..."
Shunketsu left Shin in the medically-capable hands of the doctors there, being called evil and mean since Shunketsu had beaten Shin up so badly earlier and now beat him up agian...
Now, Shunketsu headed over to Nagi...
"Nagi-sensei...I've finished my spars with Takumi Shin. I won the first two battles and thus the victor of the best-of-3 series..."
Shunketsu didn't look too clean after the fight. Even though he managed to not get injured at all, his clothing was a little bit soaked in Shin's blood...not something he was particularly proud of...

Kaosu's face turned unemotional as Rei began forward. I wonder if that's what I looked like when I started out. Probably. He watched Rei's weapon swing downwards and then cut up. That's different.
Taking both his hands, he met the attack and stopped it in it's tracks; and then pushed it down lower. "Good, Rei. Good. You do more than the newbies normally do. Congratulations." Kaosu grunted, pushing a little harder downwards. "Don't take this personally, alright? Just gotta teach you how to...dodge!"
And with that, he let go of the pressure on his blade, swung his torso backwards, and then launched it forwards with weapon in tow. Quickly it made it's way towards Rei's shoulder.

Rei squinted his eyes as the blade connected, but didn't cry out in pain surprisingly."Bwaha! Fool! You should have known better than to do that..." "Shut...up..." He argued with the voice in his head as he stood still with blood seeping into his clothing.

DAMAGE @ Rei = 14-27
Kaosu withdrew his blade, wiping the blood off on his hakama. Not like he wouldn't wash it later. "You want to call that good or is this round not over yet?" Kaosu sighed. It's not that he was bored, he didn't think it was fair for such inexperienced people to fight him.
Wasn't fair for him, either. He wasn't getting any better.

Rei gritted his teeth as he lept a couple feet back, re-opening his eyes it was though he hadn't been hurt judging by the look in his eyes. With one shoulder injuried he changed his stance by bringing his blade out to the left to put more strain on his uninjuried shoulder and less on his injuried one. The blade protected only a little more than a quarter of his being as the entire sword came across his side and most of his front. His foot stance was a little more spread out, affirming that it was a more of a defensive one than attack. "I'm still...standing....right now I've got one more in me I think......Nobody ever got anywhere by giving up when they could go on....if you don't mind me saying so..." He was relatively calm considering what had happened....strange indeed.

Kaosu nodded. "Good. That's a good trait. I'm getting to like you, Rei." He smiled, walking forward. "You'll be a good shinigami, soon enough." Kaosu moved backwards slowly and deliberately, and then stabbed forward with his zanpakutou at Rei's other shoulder.
Kaosu was no nonsense, for the most part. It was the best way to learn. But, it didn't hurt to give someone a challenge or two.

Rei would suddenly tense up and lunge at Kaosu swinging upwards again only to jump when he was half-way to his opponent, swing his body to the left and attempt to stab Kaosu in the shoulder by holding his sword with his left and driving the end of the handle hard with his right palm while he slid the rest of the way to his target.
