Mkhait suddenly began to squirm on the horse. "PAPA!" She screamed, her little voice carrying. "PAPAAAA!!" Bakura dug his heels into his horse's side and quickly took off, not really caring what direction they went. Just had to get away from the pharaoh.

As they rode off rei looked behind them to see if they were catching up.

The pharaoh was a good distance in front of the others, and seeming to gain speed, as though his anger and determination to get his daughter was being fueled into his horse. Bakura cursed when he looked over his shoulder and saw how close the pharaoh was. He considered throwing the girl off of the horse to stall them.

"Mkhait." Bakura suggested, starting to get a headache from the girl's screams of 'papa'.

Bakura turned slightly around and seized Mkhait by her hair. She screamed shrilly, and as Bakura held her off to side to drop her, she clung to his arm. Unbalanced, he tried to shake her off, but couldn't, and the two of them toppled off of the horse and onto the sand.

Rei make the horse screach to a stop.She quickly grabed bakura pulling him onto the horse.She then took Mkhait in her arms "Child calm down right now"

During this pause, Atem managed to catch up to them. "Give me the child, Bakura!" He roared, and Mkhait struggled in Rei's arms, shrieking again. He pulled out a dagger from his horse's saddle and-- now within arm's length to them-- stabbed it into Bakura's horse's rump. The horse let out a scream and began to stumble forward.

Rei ground.She wasent going to let bakura get cought.She took the dagger out of the horse and then jumped off the horse Mkhait in her arms.She let the horse keep running with bakura it "Yo almighty a**.If you want your child you will let bakura leave." she said.She had the dagger in one hand and Mkhait in the other holding her tightly.

Mkhait began to cry. Atem was torn, and his child's tears softened him, and he bit his bottom lip. "Don't hurt her!" He finally said, jumping off of his horse. "Release her, and I'll let Bakura go..."
