Carrigan jumps as the door slams behind a departing House Elf, startled. Perturbed. He backs away slowly, frowing, clutching his long ears with knobbly fingers.
"Oh," he moans, beginning to rock, "why are elves leaving Hogwarts, miss?"

*Kaelyn bends down sitting on the floor next to little Carrigan elf patting his back gently*
It's ok Carrigan, Raehn has school troubles, that's why she left. Not everyone's leaving.

The Elf Pride Contest (ended awhile ago) but is officially over! I now select the winner, Sister Sica, whose banner is shown will receive the prize (whatever it was)
On a side note:
My faithful helpers ( kaelyn_giselle and shewantsromancex)
will be PMing the names of two elves who they believe should
be Elf of the Week/Month.

An exhausted looking Professor Basore walks in holding a rather large herbology book stuffed with extra papers that upon closer inspection look like teacher's notes, "Falling behind is never good," she mumbles, and looks up seeing Alicia's sleeping form, "Oh... apparently I'm not the only one exhausted here." She slowly inches in a direction away from Alicia so as not to disturb her slumber.
"Hmm... I wonder if any other elves are working now..."

He stands on wobbly legs and smiles faintly at Kaelyn. "Thank you," he smiles a bit wider, a bit more forced. "I is not liking to see anyone leave, is all."

Carrigan elf watched Kaelyn leave with a frown now on his drying face. He feels as though he doesn't understand, and wonders if perhaps being a house elf wasn't that perfect after all. Nothing ever was, but then, would he be the one to know that?

Tis nice to see an elf in the Kitchens! I is sorry for not being around. I is also making sure that more elves is coming into the kitchens.

Carrigan smiles at Alicia elf slightly. "I is trying to be here when Carrigan is being needed," he states, placing his bony hands on his waist. "But Carrigan has been having troubles sometimes. I am not always knowing what to be doing... I will be happy to be seeing more elves in the kitchens."
