"It depends. There's a vauge (sp?) pattern, but it only narrows their picks by a few million, and compared to the billions today, that isn't much. It's almost random" Amaya explained to Netsubo, purposely shunning ren.

"No. The four usually pair up against eachother. Seiryuu and Suzaku aren't very fond of Genbu and Byakko. That's why it shocks me that Seiryuu found a vessel for Byakko..."

Kristal was touched. People could actually worry for their friends! She knew this because of Yoh and Horo, but after all those years enduring the torture of the Tao family, it was still shocking to see how it all was a part of life.
"Maybe we should get them out..." Spiral nervously glanced at the two shamans, his eyes widening slightly more and more at each glance, though he was not looking at their faces. "...after all, who knows what kind of damage they could be causing..."
"The people who they're inside do." Hao nodded, finally standing up on his own and fully recovered from the roller coaster ride. "Kristal-chan, Shizuka-chan, have you noticed any differences in the way you feel yet?"
((grah, short, and Master Ren didn't have anything to say...so sue me...))

"Well, all I can really tell now is my voice, but the damage might take place later. I'm just not sure now..." Shizuka's eyes fell to her arm clutching her side for no apparent reason. Why didn't she run away when she had the chance? She could have saved her friends, but now she was just falling into some pit and was dragging the people she cared about down with her. Amaya could understand that expression and felt just as guilty. She was there for her shaman most of the time, why not when Seiryuu came? Why wasn't she there when Shizuka really needed her?

*netsubo took a deep breath, then took out her blood crystal*"ok then...lets try this...."*she knew that using the crystal would awaken the blood bane and cause her body damage, but right now, she didnt care...she wanted those spirit things out of her friends...*

((I'm just going to go ahead and say that Spiral's a shinigami, as long as we're all making a Yu Yu Hakusho reference here. btw, I have not watched Yu Yu Hakusho and have no idea who those people are...is it okay if I have Spiral explain that their life is being drained from having the spirits inside of them?))
Ren looked from Netsubo, to Shizuka, then to Kristal. This was all too depressing, he decided, and crossed his arms huffily with a smirk.
"I bever realized how much of a crab you guys are." He chuckled darkly at his own joke, though there was a light humor in his voice that not very many people ever heard. "You all need to cheer up and stop dragging us all down into darkness."

((Actually, it's a ruroni kenshin reference. i just worked with it a little and made it better. i had no idea it was in yu yu hakusho... sweatdrop ))
"Oh, you're one to talk." Shizuka snapped. she was pretty pissed off now, and Ren wasn't helping. Like he'd ever know the hell he was going through.
"HeloooOOoooO! Shizuka-chan, where are you?" Miyako called out to her friend who ran out of sight. What was up with that? Seriously...

Netsubo sighed,"Look Ren, if you're not gonna help us, don't speak!"She snapped. She took out a kunai and sliced open her hand, allowing the blood to run onto the crystal. The crystal absorbed the blood and seemed to grow in power.

Something finally snappd in Shizuka's head.
"Miyako-chan!" she ran off again, hoping to protect her vunerable friend.
"Where did that girl run off to now? I can't believe Shizuka-chan..." Miyako was totally unaware of the crimson bird that landed behind her, obviously not just a normal creature.

Kristal blinked, along with Horo and Hao. Ren sighed wearily as he averted his eyes from the blood, not about to mention how bad it was for her to be doing something like that. He did, however, curse himself for being so caring.
"Eh?" Kristal looked around, just in time to see Shizuka run off. "Sh-Shizuka-chan! Wait! I think Netsubo-chan..."
Her voice trailed off as she sighed, making a wry face at Hao, who seemed to agree with her.
((I didn't know Ren would get such a negative reaction...O.O and I didn't know it was from Kenshin, but I haven't even scrathched the surface with that series too...I must be the most uneducated person on anime and manga there is...>.> so...is that an okay for the life draining, though?))
