Breaking from her potion-making, Ray made her way to the coffee house, Meir sitting upon her shoulder. She laughed as she opened the door, speaking to the tiny dragon in her native tongue. Meir chirped in return. Reaching the counter, Ray glanced at the selection, finally decided on a fruit smoothie and a bowl of fresh fruit for Meir.

Charlotte Walked into the heavily scented coffe house,the aroama instantly filling her nostrils and diving down through the rest of her. She looked around and noticed the other people sitting around and taking. Each thinking or talking their own private thoughts or opinions.
A waitress ushered her to a booth,gesturing towards a few menus left on the table. positioned in between the matching set of sugar,tea and coffe tins.
She looked over the top however,raising an eyebrow at the chocolate pralineswhich sat directly center of a frosted window. Strings of confetti decorating the sides.
Motioning to it, the waitress left alone to get it. mummbling under her breath.

When hearing the door tinkle, Ray glanced over and saw the curly-haired girl come in and sit down. She noted her style of dress, the tiara upon her head, and the soft angel-like wings on her back. "Celestial?" She'd never seen one in person, figuring the girl might be a princess or something as well.

Charlotte glanced back at the newly entering woman,instantly noticing the small dragon perched upon her shoulder.
Her hair was of darkest black and the way she had whispered to the dragon had seemed foreighn.
She began to wonder what being she was dealing with as she noticed the small points for ears The woman possessed.
She smiled politely,raising her hand a little. At which point she also recievered her order,blocking the other woman for a minute or two.

Ray smiled to the girl, Meir tilting his head before flying up and over to her. He landed on the table and chirped as he glanced up at her tiara. , he said to her mind as Ray walked over. "Ah...Meir, don't be a bother to others..." She smiled and rubbed her head. "Sorry miss."

Jordyn clasped Sakura's lovely hands and started to leave his chair, leaning over to kiss her delicately on the lips. Looking to the clock he winced and smiled sadly at his new lovely. "I have to get home to pack, beautiful." He said as he gathered his pack and hat, "I have an assignment I need to make in Chicago." Kissing her fingertips he waved a small and slightly reluctant wave and made his way out of the coffee house.
Merryn shook her head sadly as she watched Jordyn leave and looked to Jalceri. "I-- I," she stammered, "I should go make sure he's not off to do something stupid." Shaking her hair from her face she ran a hand over Ceri's chin and smiled stupidly. Leaning forward she kissed her dear friend's cheek and whispered into her ear, "I love you, darling." Leaving the shop, running, after Jordyn she giggled and turned to blow a kiss to Jalceri as she left.

Sakura frowned but nodded, offering a smile and a 'Good luck, love' as he exited. She sighed sadly and wrapped her arms around herself, glancing to the empty glasses and rising. If Jordyn wasn't going to be there, there certainly was no reason she should be. She pushed her chair back in under teh table and smoothed out her skirts, sighing again and looking to the seat Jordyn had occupied, silently pleaing for a speedy return.

She raised her hand to the small dragon,aalarmed at its capabilities to talk,let alone know the english language. She extended her finger and cautiously petted it,unsure if it would attack. She gathered the creatures name was Meir from the other girl.
She turned owards her again,leaving her food untouched for the moment.
It's no problem,as long as he doesn't bite that is.
She giggled a little and motioned for the other woman to sit down,noticing the resemblence of a crown above her head made her wonder if she was some elf-like warrior princess. Immediantly a pointy eared xena came into her mind and she smiled lightly,shaking her head as if to rid the thought more.
So,I believe I know this one's name She tilted her head in the direction of the dragon.But what is yours?

Meir tilted his head at the woman then began to make an odd purring noise when she pet him. Ray laughed and shook her head at the familiar then smiled at the girl, slipping into the seat across from her, setting the drink and fruit down. Meir immediately turned and began to gorge himself on the fruit. "No, he doesn't bite unless provoked...which would mean if I told him to or I'm attacked." Meir gave a small chirp and went back to eating. "My name's Ray Norovia. What's yours?" She purposefully said her nickname rather than whole. No one ever called her Raychel...and she prefered it that way.

She looked again at little Meir,the purring sound sounded strange and foreighn to the ferocious,but tam,looking beast. Its head burried deep into the pulpy flesh of the fruit. She figured that although harmless now if,as Ray said, could bite and it wouldn't be a friendly yip either.

She rested her head on entwined fingers. Her curly hair fell around her like a cascading waterfall making her look more like a nymph than anything else.
She looked up again.
Although I'm also known as char. but you can call me what you prefer.
She took a bite out of her chocolate praline,savouring the sweet taste before swallowing it down.
A question bounced around her skull,wriggling around the front of her mind and eventually down her throat to be voiced aloud. Though it was unsure of how to announce itself. Charlotte cleared her throat.
You don't.....er look like your from around here?
Charlotte commented.

Ray rested her elbows on the table, intertwining her fingers. She smiled then laughed lightly. "No, I can't say that I am." Her golden eyes glittered. "Can't quite say I'm from the same time period either." She then lifted her glass to her lips and sipped at its contents. "You don't look like you're from here yourself. You appear as if you belong in a celestial kingdom or something." Of course, she meant it as a compliment knowing that she herself would probably never wear such a lovely outfit or anything.

Charalotte raised an eyebrow. Not even of the same time period ay?
She wondered where she had come from.The clothing style fitted none of the eras she knew of.
She nodded knowly.
your right. Then again your only have there. I'm not purely celestial I guess.
Just a little. I was only on the 2nd plane of heaven while I was there.
She waited to see the reaction of Ray. Although she didn't wait long and changed the topic completely off herself.
Do you know any others...like yourself?
She took another bite of the meal on the dish,relising there was little left.
She gazed out towards other customers. A few stragglers and more important looking ones. She noticed they seemed to be sepereated into those groups.
odd she thought,turning her gaze back to the girl.

Ray looked at her thoughtfully, almost in awe. "An aasimar then. Part celestial. Ah, aasimars are a beautiful race." She sipped at her drink again before setting the glass down lightly. "Others like myself? Mm...I know another elf and a drow...but no one quite like myself. Mages of my level are a bit...rare." Meir just continued to eat, lost in the bowl of fruit before him.

aasimar? She had never heard the word before,though it seemed it was what she was. An odd thought that she didn't even know what she was,she chuckled slightly.

So you are a magic user then?
She asked in interest,she had heard of the many users of magic in the underground,though this was the first she had met. The pointed ears were explained,though she had already half guessed the truth.
The thought half scared her,a being who could jump the time stream?
it wasn't heard of.
Was she from the future?was she of the past?
She distracted her whirling thoguht by looking again at Meir,examining his small wing joints. Only who or whatever had created the world could think of such fine and inticate desighns and mechanics.

Ray nodded lightly, the red streaks in her hair framing her narrow face. "I am. I've practiced...well, was forced to improve over a short amount of time. I come from a place that thrives on magic...though my friend and I are currently the only kingdom mages." Meir flittered his wings when he found the mango piece, inhaling those quickly. "I have another friend here who came with me...but he's a fighter rather than mage. He's a bit hard to miss," she added with a small laugh.
