dragonsix there was not one and i think there should be one. just say which type of sax you play. i play the alto, tenor, and bari.I PLAY ALTO TENOR AND BARI TOO!!!!!!!!!HOW AWESOME!^.^ so yeah I am back. Been gone from here for a long time. yeah. That was all I wanted to say. I am thinking of making a banner. ^^ if you have any ideas for it please don't be shy in telling me. XD~Rules~
-be nice to everyone. That means no put downs for not knowing something about the sax. And if you don't like saxophones why the hell are you here. get out. ^.^
-you can talk about anything, but don't make it sick things take those to pms please, for the love of everyone.

Hiyo. I mainly play the alto, but I played on a tenor for about a month or so, and I played a soprano once.

Baka-baka-chan I play the tenor... just started a few weeks ago ^_^ i played flute before (and still) but that made it easy to switch to sax because the fingerings are the same. our marching/pep band was in need of a tenor, so i'm now the only one. plus, i now play in the jazz band I play an alto and I also play in the jazz band at my school. It's pretty cool. We played after school in front of everyone and people came up to me saying we were really good.

I play the tenor and Alto sax. I only started playing the tenor this year because my BD asked me to. I've always wanted to play the soprano and the bari is soooo weird to play XD
I've been playing alto sax since the 7th grade biggrin

i play alto sax and i have played for 5 years and i started in 5th grade, i plan to play tenor next year cuz several seniors are getting out and i may get a place in the B-block next year!

Well, we went to our first festival this year, but we didn't compete (we just started up last year). We go to local festivals, though, and we should compete next year.

To be able to have such control over altissimos is quite hard and he played it with no trouble at all jumping octaves and keeping very good tone. I wonder if he's an exclusive classical saxophonist or if he plays jazz as well. I know alot of really talented sax players but they're either jazz or classical and only a very small number is proficient in both. Thanks for the link i really enjoyed it.
