He leads playoffs in goals (10) n' game winners (4), includin' his double-overtime strike in Game 5 against Buffalo Sabres that won Eastern Conference title. He remains a strong candidate to win Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP should Ottawa win Cup.

Dany Heatley-Right Wing-Ottawa  Playoff stats: Games Played 15, Goals 6, Assists 15, Points 21 Heatley has rescued his career since tragic auto accident that killed Atlanta teammate Dan Snyder. Traded by Thrashers 2 years ago for Marian Hossa n' Greg de Vries, Heatley has notched a pair of 50-goal seasons n' 208 total points with Senators. He leads playoffs in scorin' with 21 points n' has been impressive at both ends of ice.

Jason Spezza-Center-Ottawa  Playoff stats: Games Played 15, Goals 7, Assists 13, Points 20 When Ottawa traded problematic center Alexei Yashin, their 1st-ever draft pick, to New York Islanders in 2001, pick they received that year (2nd overall) in return proved well more than worth it. Spezza has progressed into 1 of NHL's top centers n' is 2nd in playoff scorin' to teammate Heatley, whom he centers along with Alfredsson on what is easily best line in hockey.

Ray Emery-Goaltender-Ottawa  Playoff stats: 12-3, 1.95 Goal Against Average, .919 Save Percentage 99th overall pick of 2001 draft, Emery has emerged as a steady backstopper for Senators, postin' NHL's best record this postseason (12-3) n' a shutout in each round of playoffs. He will be 1st black startin' goalie in Stanley Cup Final since Grant Fuhr of Edmonton Oilers in 1988. Backup Martin Gerber may be a good luck charm for Emery, as Gerber has sat behind 2 Conn Smythe-winners in past 3 seasons, includin' Ducks netminder Jean-Sebastien Giguere in 2003.

Anton Volchnkov-Defenseman-Ottawa  Playoff stats: Games Played 15, Goals 1, Assists 3, Points 4 Ottawa's 1st round choice (21st overall) in 2000, Volchnkov(No.24) led all NHL players in blocked shots (273) durin' regular season n' ranks 1st in postseason with 61. Both of his 2 career playoff goals have been game-winners, includin' 1 in Pittsburgh durin' 1st round that gave Senators a 3-1 series lead over Penguins.

Mike Fisher-Center-Ottawa  Playoff stats: Games Played 15, Goals 3, Assists 3, Points 6 Fisher(No.12) has fit in nicely as Senators 2nd line center throughout season n' playoffs. Ottawa's 2nd-round pick in 1998, he has developed into a 20-goal scorer who can check life out of opposition's best line. His crafty face-off skills will come in handy as Ducks are impressive on draws.

Chris Pronger-Defenseman-Anaheim  Playoff stats: Games Played 15, Goals 3, Assists 11, Points 14 Anaheim traded for all-star defenseman just weeks after watchin' him lead Edmonton Oilers to Stanley Cup Final last year while postin' a club-leadin' 21 points (5 G, 16 A), Now, 6-foot-6 workhorse is Ducks' leadin' scorer in postseason n' he leads NHL with 31:16 average ice time per postseason game. Both Pronger n' teammate Scott Niedermayer were named as 2 of 3 finalists for Norris Trophy, awarded to league's top defenseman.

Teemu Selanne-Right Wing-Anaheim  Playoff stats: Games Played 16, Goals 5, Assists 7, Points 12 Fleet right-winger led team in scorin' with 94 points this season (48 G, 46 A). Although his numbers have dipped in playoffs, Selanne has posted 2 goals n' 4 assists in his last 3 games. After 14 years n' over 1,000 regular-season games in NHL, he will be makin' his 1st appearance in Stanley Cup Final.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere-Goaltender-Anaheim  Playoff stats: 9-3, 1.87 Goals Against Average, .931 Save Percentage He is makin' his 2nd trip to Cup Final after losin' to New Jersey Devils in 7 games in 2003, though he did win Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Giguere didn't start 1st 4 games of playoffs this year as he was attendin' to his infant son's serious eye condition. Since his return, Jiggy has been stunnin'. Enterin' final, he boasts a career playoff record of 27-12 n' his playoff OT record is a stellar 12-1 (with 1 goal against in 250:47).

Here are Game 1 highlights of Stanley Cup Ducks 3--Senators 2, Ducks lead 1-0  Ottawa took a 2-1 lead after goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere lost his stick n' was beat high to stick side by a wobblin' shot from defenseman Wade Redden on power play.
