Did a test run today on an outfit and lighting equipment. Nothing amazing, but cute and sorta fun.

spuntino: I really love that corset/bra top you have. I've been wanting to get something like that for faire's when my tummy flattens out and have a sexy midriff.
That's funny too, cause I do a red/black/gold gypsy thing for my costume, too- but red long skirt and black coin skirt. Do you belly dance/ hoop/ poi?

I got it from Faire Lady Designs. They're one of the only shops I found that has more traditional styles of belly dance attire, and not those awful sheer tops.
I'm not taking formal lessons because I lack the funds right now, but I've been mucking around with video lessons via YouTube. It's pretty fun stuff and a good work out, though I'm not all that good at it. (:

There really wasn't anything to do on Sunday, except go to Jang Dong Gun's interview, so it was kind of disappointing for me...
Plus, they weren't selling that much J-rock albums.
I wish I had put on my cuffs and curled my hair ;;

Sadly, I didn't celebrate ILD this time around. The girls in my area were too busy studying for finals, or working. There's a meet-up tomorrow that may or may not go through. So far, there are only three of us, and my budget's a bit tight, so I may skip until a larger meet can be had.
Anyway, mucked around with my new tripod today. Larger version is my DA ID now.
I need to learn how to take better self-shot close-ups, clearly. I'd also like to get a 50mm for portraits, so that may be my next purchase. Hrm.
