Amnity still didn't get into a fighting stance, though she didn't really need to try to focus. Right now she could have gotten into a stance, at least try to give some effort to defend herself. She groaned when she realized that he was doing the drunken fist again. God I hate that fighting style.... When he fell, or at least it looked like he fell, the sudden urge to help him ached to push her forward. But she'd fought him enough times to know that it might be a feint, and she was correct. The kick caught her off guard though, and if she were still human she wouldn't have been able to dodge it. Now her lycan agility gave her the advantage of speed and the great ability to dodge an attack fairly easily, it was almost second nature. She sidestepped the kick, but didn't counter it. One side of her wanted to fight back, but her love for him and his safety was much stronger then that. She didn't counter, nor did she even get into a fighting stance again. She just stood her ground.

I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...
Mephlius didn't move an inch. He spoke, although considering his position, it was a miracle he could open his mouth. "Now I'm sure something's wrong." Mephlius' back straightened out, and he ended up on his knees. As he stood up, he continued. "My Amnity would never turn down a good fight, especially when she had requested it." He took a few steps towards her, without an ounce of combat showing in his posture. "What's wrong?"

Amnity stood there timidly, like a child being confronted by an elder when they realized that she had something bad, like lie or steal a cookie. Now how could she lie anymore? Especially after Mephlius just referred to her as 'his' Amnity. "It's hard to explain." She said, looked down at her hands before looking up at him. "B-but we could keep sparring if you want, we don't have to stop if you don't want to."

Amnity nodded, then thought. "Well, it's like...." It was a lot harder to explain, but she persisted though, then spoke again. "....Before, when I sparred with you while I was a human, I was positive that I couldn't injure you...Too much at least. I'm a lycan now and..." She trailed off, then took a deep breathe before continuing. "Now that I'm a lycan...I can actually hurt you. Seeing you as an enemy, fighting you, involuntarily strategizing ways to kill you-" Amnity stopped there and shook her head. "...I don't want to take it too far. I'm a new werewolf, the slightest mistake might turn this innocent sparring match into a full on brawl. I don't want that. I'm so sorry..."

Mephlius paused before answering. "Amnity..." He wrapped his arms around her, stroking the back of her head lightly. "Don't worry about hurting me. I'll be fine. Even if you went berserk... you'd have very little control. You'd be acting completely on instinct. I'm more worried about you... accidentally hurting someone else before I can catch you." For some reason, he was smiling a bit. Perhaps it was the image. A giant wolf-man chasing down a blood-crazed wolf, both of them easily able to tear a car to pieces. "Please... don't feel bad." Because it makes me feel worse... He almost added. Almost.

Amnity took a deep breath, both relieved and happy, then she hugged him back. He was right, maybe she was worrying too much? Or maybe she should worry a lot, seeing as the situation they're in seemed to call for it. She could actually hear the smile in his voice though, and that made her grin a bit as well. "What? What's so funny?" She asked curiously, pulling away for a second to look at him.

Mephlius was still smiling when she pulled away. "It's just the image. Me chasing you around 'Amnity? Amnity?!' as I chased you around the city, both of us tearing through cars and concrete walls like there was never anything in our way." By the end, he was chuckling a bit.

Amnity imagined it too, and couldn't help but laugh along with him. "That would be chaos..." She then tilted her head to the side, the grin still on her face as she looked up at him. "But are you sure you'd be able to catch up with me? I run pretty fast..."

Amnity rolled her eyes and scoffed in a joking kind of way. "Normal, it's so overrated. I already knew that this relationship had no chance of being normal the moment I fell in love with you, but even then I didn't mind." She grinned. "We already agreed that this love isn't going to be normal, didn't we?"

Amnity chuckled a bit, but felt embarrassed also that she'd actually chose to see a gore movie. She wasn't one for romance or dates, as Mephlius well knows. "I'm sorry about that...If you'd wanted a better date. I know that it wasn't...The best idea in the world." She leaned on him a bit, then leaned back and chuckled. "But normal is boring, right?"

Mephlius still smiled. "When you come back after a few months, we had a feast at... Burger King... then went to simulate a fight to the death... but we suddenly stopped to reminisce how weird our lives are." He ended with a bit of a chuckle. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Amnity smiled too. "Me neither. I guess it can't be helped." She looked around, trying to think. "What do you want to do now? Something normal? Or something completely spontaneous and possibly life threatening?" Her smile formed into a grin as she spoke.
