☽ Emma's ears twitched again as Herald said "Ladies first". She stood there for a moment "Oh! Gotcha!" she said with a thumbs up before stepping through the portal to the park ((exit)) ☾
In Herald and Emma's realm, a portal suddenly ripped open spewing out The Reaver, Emma, Herald and if Takeshi got caught up in it, him as well. The Reaver landed on his back before kicking to his feet. "Well here we are! Flowers and all!" Herald slowly got to his feet, the rage practically radiating from him. "I WILL kill you," he told The Reaver menacingly.

So stand in the rain Stand your ground Stand up when it's all crashing down...
You stand through the pain You won't drown And one day, whats lost can be found You stand in the rain...
☽ Instead of Emma appearing through the portal, white flames spewed in every direction and, before Reaver had time to react, the flames charged at him. A fist came out of the fire and slammed into him, sending him flying. The white flames spread out revealing Emma in her third form, the flames angrily moving around her as she glared at Reaver. They needed to get him out of their realm somehow. ☾

Takeshi was thrown rather violently out of the portal, he landed on the floor, his head spinning. "Oh great I feel like I'm going to hurl. Say Reaver I think you should work on making your portals a bit more friendly." Takeshi got up and began to dust away the dirt that landed on his clothing as he fell to the ground using both of his hands. "There we go, nice and clean. As he glanced around he noticed how beautiful the place was. It was a sight to behold indeed, he hadn't seen anything like it before. Gleaming with joy he looked around all giddy and happy but then held himself back. "A nice place...I don't think Herald would want me here though. Wonder if I could find an exit here somewhere...wait. What am I saying? I forgot about the others!" Giving his head a thump he turned around just in time to see Emma and her white flames. Running quickly out of the white fire's range he stood a bit farther from Emma and The Reaver. She seemed...different. It was like she gained a sudden large boost in power. "Like I said, she'd make a great teacher. I knew she could be strong but not that strong!" Noticing the white flames he realized that they were beautiful as well, much more then the black flames he could produce. "Awesome..." Standing by as a bystander he felt awkward, he didn't feel like he should be there. He was more comfortable fighting back at death city. Still he was prepared to fight The Reaver along with Emma once he found an opening.
Takeshi's Techniques - The ones in use will be bolded.
Spells/Powers:
+ Black Step - Very similar to the original Takeshi's blue step the black step is a variation of it. By resonating with himself Takeshi is capable of moving at super high speeds leaving behind a blur like after image of him. The reason why the technique gets the name Black Step is because of the clothing Takeshi wears, when the after image of Takeshi is left it looks all black and fuzzy due to his clothing. Unlike the original the alternate can use this technique in quick succession due to his stamina so he could out speed anyone he comes into contact with. Anyone that is unfortunate enough to battle Takeshi will have a hard time catching up with him. This technique can't be used in his madness release form because Takeshi doesn't travel the way he does when he is using madness to enhance most of his capabilities. Most people confuse this technique as teleportation but truly its Takeshi's speed. In his kishin form this move is referred to him as the black dance due to the dramatically enhanced speed boost.
+ Soul Protect - A technique that is in constant use by Takeshi. In order to escape Shibusen's meisters and weapons Takeshi will use soul protect. This allows Takeshi to bypass soul perception which would be able to distinguish his soul from an average humans soul. Most with soul perception will see his soul as a human soul and have no clue of his warlock soul. He is also capable of disguising his wavelength to that of a regular cat. Since there are certain people that would be able to detect lies due to the fluctuations of wavelengths Takeshi has learned to keep his wavelength calm so no one would be able to detect his lies.
+ Familiars - Around the time Takeshi was still going to the DMA in the alternate universe he managed to animate his toy teddy bear. He named it Cookie and cares a great deal for it, calling it a him instead of a her since it didn't seem as feminine. Normally the stuffed bear is used for stuff such as household chores or guarding Takeshi while he sleeps. Cookie means the world to Takeshi and so far he thinks of them as the only beings he could truly trust. Always around Takeshi, he wears them on an article of his clothing all of the time which is usually his sweater. All he has to do is say his name and the familiar will awaken and grow a bit bigger in size. Cookie can't speak but Takeshi can understand every movement he makes since they have a unique link. Usually when he awakens the stick on the bear in toy mode will also grow. So far Cookie has been known to be used as a spy, guard, and even test dummy for training. Cookie is surprisingly fast and is able to move without detection, especially since he has no soul. After sustaining some damage they will revert back to their toy form. Cookie can scale tall buildings with a super jump but other than that and the previously mentioned features, that's all he could do. His other familiars are a bit different and are summoned for combat reasons. When using his shadow magic Takeshi can create familiars that are produced from his own shadows. These familiars aren't as strong individually but more of as a group. Usually producing five to ten shadows in order to attack his enemies Takeshi will order them to attack his enemies. The first familiars, shadows, are the weakest and capable of just scratching attacks and more stuff when they're in a group. Stalkers are the next level of shadows and much more quick and able than shadows. Most of the time Takeshi will create just five since they are more than capable of fighting by themselves.
+ Madness Overload - A technique that allows Takeshi to take on even the mightiest of foes. By amplifying the madness already within himself, Takeshi can fight on the level of a human that is undergoing madness release. When under the powerful influence of madness Takeshi's traits and abilities and greatly enhanced enabling him fight on an entirely new level. Upon using this technique Takeshi will also change his appearance greatly such as wearing a black cloak made of madness, his feet will also sink into the ground leaving only his legs. The way Takeshi travels now is by sinking into the ground as a shadow, his body now bends and twists in strange ways. Only when Takeshi uses madness overload is he capable of summoning his unique mask and weapon made of madness which you could learn more about in the description above. Among the new abilities Takeshi obtains he can transform his body into a shadow and phase through an enemys attack. This lasts one post and needs a five post cool down. Towards the end of training to learn how to control his madness he developed this form. Amplifying his own madness was a huge risk therefore Takeshi's master didn't like the idea of using it in battle but the young man will still use it if needed. Because of Takeshi's training with the cultist he is able to control the madness even more now and can freely enter this stage whenever he wants and maintain it for extended periods of time. Despite being able to fully control the madness release his personality will change to closely resemble that of a madman. His fighting style will be unpredictable and hard to follow. Just because he loses some sanity Takeshi will still be able to know the difference between friend and foe alike so his allies won't be in any real danger.
+ Kishin Form - This form is a last resort. When Takeshi enters this form his speed is unmatched and his strength unparalleled. His defense is also given an amazing boost as well as all his five senses. Though when undergoing this form Takeshi makes sure to chain these big morning stars on his arms as a sort of restraint. Even with the restraints Takeshi is able to move at high speeds in this form easily as if the restraints didn't even exist. After eating many pure human souls fed to him by the cult that raised him he began to grow more aggressive. More powers were revealed and he was coming closer to becoming a true kishin however he started losing himself. He would see illusions and go into these panic attacks. It was awful for the boy. Losing his sanity he said he wouldn't eat another pure human soul until his training to carry out the cults mission would be carried out. Later he would get better and regain his sanity but he would still swear off of eating pure human souls. He uncovered this form after eating the last pure human soul he would eat at the abandoned hospital. Everyone immediately thought that Takeshi was in the process of becoming a kishin because his wavelength was reaching levels that closely resembled that of a regular kishin, however this wasn't the case. Quickly his body changed and his eyes didn't even look normal anymore. Just as everyone was about to celebrate his awakening as a kishin he reverted back to his average form. Later he would learn that he could enter this form freely though every time he did his body would be under heavy stress afterwards. Despite obtaining this form he can't maintain it for large periods of time unless he becomes a full fledged kishin. By eating just one more pure human soul Takeshi will become a true kishin and transform into his kishin form permanently. Without the restraints Takeshi can attack using his claws or his legs to cause devastating damage. He also gains the ability to manipulate and produce intense black flames of madness from his body. These can be used for a number of purposes such as using it in physical combat, creating barriers of black flames, and even incorporating a battle style for it. The black flames are extremely intense and are more deadly than average flames. Ultimately this form is stronger than his madness overlord form. If Takeshi uses this form in succession he will grow a third eye on his forehead symbolizing that the madness has nearly taken over him and his mind on the border between sane and insane.
+ Madness Manipulation - The ultimate form of madness is being able to harness that power and control it. This ability of Takeshi allows him to use his madness to enhance his physical prowess and speed. Thanks to this ability Takeshi is able to use his shadow magic offensively as well as concentrate the madness through his sword to enhance his cutting ability. Madness manipulation is the ability to use the massive amounts of madness within someone to empower the user or compress it into the form of blasts and beams. Madness is available to everyone since most people have at least a small amount of madness within them. Only those with immeasurable amounts of madness could unleash the full potential of its empowering properties. Depending on the person the effects of madness will effect everyone differently. Being the new embodiment of fear Takeshi's madness is terror. His magic is the control of shadows. By empowering himself with madness he is covered in a black shadow like aura that makes itself very apparent. Though empowering his body with madness gives him a darker look this isn't a form that can be compared to his other two but he does consider it due to the appearance change. This empowerment transformation is known as Shadow Drive hence the aura that would be emanating from him. When compressing the madness into a destructive force Takeshi can create black balls of madness that cause dome like explosions that range quite far. Compressing it into a form of blast is also possible. Finally Takeshi can alter the form of the madness and change the shape of it, enabling him to convert the madness into weapons. In weapon form the madness is highly weak to an Anti-Demon wavelength and will immediately disperse should a user come into contact with it.
+ Black Shadow Magic - This is the type of magic that Takeshi uses as a Warlock. By fusing Takeshi's magical power with the shadows he can manipulate them making them fall under his command. Now before the madness had made its presence known within the young warlock's body, this form of magic wasn't as deadly. It allows the complete manipulation of shadows within the nearby vicinity. Altering the shape and form of shadows was the original limitation before Takeshi's madness amplified its powers and changed the shadows he controls into a physical form. Much like vector magic, shadow magic is very similar in the way it attacks, although shadow magic differs and has some unique limits. Takeshi can only manipulate shadows when there are actually shadows, he can't function well in areas devoid of light entirely. Despite being able to control shadows only Takeshi's shadow can be used in an offensive manner. After Takeshi's shadows have been amplified by his own madness they've evolved and managed to grow eyes and mouthes with teeth. These mouthes are capable of eating and the eyes link back to Takeshi, basically it enables father eye sight. Takeshi's shadow can take on a variety of shapes, from sharp spikes to tendril-like hands. He can also manipulate, slice through or devour anything that comes in contact with his shadow and it appears invulnerable to conventional physical harm, although it can be deflected by sufficiently hard objects. He can also see and talk through his shadowy eyes and mouths wherever his shadow can extend. Any form of light magic interferes with Takeshi's shadow magic. Madness induced shadows however are much more resilient than the regular shadows Takeshi manipulates. After using madness overload Takeshi's whole body will be able to transform into a physical form of the shadows themselves enabling him to use his shadow magic anywhere. In his madness induced form Takeshi must travel by sinking into the ground and moving in a way as if he was swimming on the ground as a shadow. When under the effects of madness Takeshi is still able to move as a shadow in areas devoid of light, able to use his body as a weapon.

The Reaver tumbled head over heels from Emma's sucker punch, ripping up flowers and dirt before he rolled to a stop. "Man what the heck. A new form already?" He kicked to his feet and turned to look at Emma. "I see. Yeah, it's a lot like.....well, whatever." He shook his head before looking over at Takeshi. "Hey, just think of it like a roller coaster. You'll enjoy it more." Herald looked back at Emma before turning back to The Reaver. "You're not leaving this place alive," he promised The Reaver as he began walking towards him. "This is just gonna end with Emma kissing my feet again," The Reaver warned with a small smile. Herald looked back at Takeshi. "You wanted to lean? Watch. And wait for an opening." As soon as Herald turned back towards The Reaver he rushed forward in an explosion of motion, tearing apart the ground between himself and his foe. Herald opened his assault like he usually did, with a flurry of swipes with his razor sharp claws. The Reaver began dodging them quickly, throwing in a punch or a kick here and there. It didn't do much damage but it was definitely hurting Herald.

"R-Right! Okay I'll just stay here patiently then." Understanding what he had to do he readied himself. "I don't think I should have a problem using my shadow here..." His shadow expanded creating a black circle just below him. "Okay now I'm all set." Watching Herald use his new form to attack The Reaver was interesting. Takeshi was impressed with how fast Herald truly was, still he didn't mind the werewolf form but that was only because Herald wasn't using it as intimidation or any sort of purpose on Takeshi. "So fast..." Noticing that The Reaver was holding his own against the storn of attacks, Takeshi wanted to intervene badly but couldn't because that wasn't the plan. Still Takeshi was getting an idea of what he would do to gain the upper hand on The Reaver. "Binding him might work..." Going back and fourth he looked at Herald and The Reaver. They didn't really seem to like each other that much and Takeshi couldn't help but wonder why. He knew that he was a bit reckless with what he says since Herald was very protecting of Emma but he didn't know if that was the main source of their problems. "None of my business I guess, Herald don't let up!"

As the combat continued, it was clear that despite appearances The Reaver was gaining ground. "Come on Herald, go into your Kishin form! You know you need to!" The Reaver replied with a laugh as he hopped backwards and out of range. Herald was bloodied but still quite capable of fighting and The Reaver had his fair share of injuries as well. Herald was breathing hard as he took a step backwards. But he was not retreating. Suddenly he took a deep breath, his chest expanding massively before he exhaled a bright blue blast of flames that quickly closed the distance between The Reaver and Herald, burning the flowers and grass below it to ashes. The Reaver raised his arms as the fire washed over him, gritting his teeth against the pain of the flames. As soon as Herald finished the attack he rushed forward again, tearing into The Reaver with his claws. The Reaver lunged to the side and out of Herald's reach. Though by doing so he had exposed himself to a side attack.

Blinking the young warlock was surprised to find that Herald wasn't in his kishin form. He thought that he was already in the form since he had gained a new appearance back in death city. Watching the fight closely he noticed that The Reaver was overbearing and acting more of a savage than Herald, you'd expect Herald to be more ferocious if you compared Herald's current form to The Reaver. The blows The Reaver had landed on Takeshi back when he was in death city still stung. Especially the blow to his face, he smoothed his face over with his right hand to check on the imprint The Reaver's shoe left on his face. Takeshi took note of all of Herald's attacks, especially the blue flames. They were pretty cool as well, he wasn't expecting both Herald and Emma to have an affinity with fire to unleash attacks such as those. Takeshi's reflexes kicked in once The Reaver left an opening for his shadows to attack and conquer. "Bingo!" Sending in multiple tendril-like sharp needled drills towards The Reaver from his shadow that was still shaped in a circle, he would surely notice that this time there were a lot more tendrils then in death city. The tendrils moved in a different motion this time, they looked as though they had been swung at The Reaver, they would attempt to attack him from the side. If The Reaver wasn't careful the attack might cause some serious injuries. "I've got you now!"

♞The Reaver♞
==== ☠ ====
The Reaver turned slightly as he felt two new attacks coming. He raised his arm and let it take the impact of Emma's fireball. It exploded against his arm burning away the sleeve of his coat and showing burned skin underneath. But he had to keep an eye on Herald, knowing the beast was just waiting for him to try and focus on Takeshi or Emma. He couldn't block the tendrils. They slammed into his side sending him stumbling backwards as he grabbed the side of his chest where they hit him. Herald moved in quickly and threw a punch straight to The Reaver's face. The Reaver's head snapped backwards and stayed that way for a second. But when he leaned forward again he was grinning. "Sheeya that's what I like to see! Go team!" He jumped backwards again, angling himself so that he could keep all three of them in his vision. "But you're gonna have to put more effort into it than that." Herald spat out some blood as he began to walk towards The Reaver again. "That's fine. We have more." Suddenly Herald leaped into the air, taking a deep breath as he looked down at The Reaver. He exhaled, but this time instead of a stream of flames, several large blue fireballs shot forward from his open mouth. They raced towards The Reaver getting ready to detonate as soon as they hit. Herald's plan was fairly obvious; he wanted everyone to attack him from different directions. There was no way he could defend against all of them at once.
☽ Emma blinked as the Reaver took the hits. There has a chance they could beat him teamed up like this. She knew he could take hits but there is only so much someone can take. She saw Herald attack again from above. She tapped her foot on the ground then and a huge wave of white flames came charging at The Reaver from one side. ☾
Gee today has been nothing but a bore and its likely the next day will be a bore. Aw who are we kidding? My entire life has been a bore lately.
You would think that a guy like me would have a life of excitement but I'm just as plain as the next guy.
Energy Output 15% Soul Wavelength Stable/Strong
The idea of teamwork sounded very well under the circumstances, The Reaver had endurance but the question was how long would it last? Quickly a new idea popped into Takeshi's head. A devious one at that. "Better not start slacking." The large pitch black circle that had been beneath Takeshi had shrunken a bit. Instead of tendrils this time he would send in these shadow-like hands. Moving in a wave like motion they rested on the ground, they looked as though they were performing some dance.Giving a quick yet serious look at Emma he nodded, giving her a sign just so she could be aware of the type of technique he was attempting to use. They didn't pop out of the ground like the tendrils did either, they slithered at high speeds towards The Reaver while sticking to the ground, in an attempt to ensnare The Reaver causing him to lose mobility. "My shadows have a strong grip, it'd be wise to jump," Takeshi whispered with a devious laugh afterward.
The Reaver spun and dodged Herald's fireballs before rolling quickly through Emma's fire only to be caught by Takeshi's shadows and rooted in place. He looked down at the ground, an annoyed look on his face. "Just can't catch a break, huh?" He asked no one in particular. He turned to look at Herald as Herald came walking towards him. "Aw, man. You got me. Good fight. You win," he told Herald, holding his hands up in surrender. Herald didn't respond as he continued walking towards him. "It's not over until you're dead," Herald replied as he reached The Reaver. However, he didn't get within arms reach instead standing back as he pushed his wavelength further up. "Well...?" He asked angrily. "Well...what?" The Reaver asked innocently. He turned to look at Takeshi and Emma. "Hey uh, you guys might want to call off Herald before this gets ugly. Like, really ugly."
