Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark closed her eyes and did as she was asked and felt the warmth of the amulet flowing through her body. "Feel light like i'm walking on air." She spoke as if from far away place

Kila took her other hand and lay it on her own chest. She could feel the girl practically buzzing with power. "Now focus that feeling and concentrate on me. Feel that darkest?" she asked. She searched for a way to explain it without being complicated. "Light it up." she said finally. "But gently." she quickly added. Too much could harm her as well. She was half fae.

Lark nodded slowly trying hard to focus on the warmth and the lightness that was surging through her once she got that down she began the hard task of trying to find Kila's aura and on the darkness which was the virus infecting it she almost jerked away from that darkness because it was very evil and it was trying to hurt her to she reached for it to light it like a candle but it ended up lighting like a wildfire causing Lark to faint while the magic coursed through Kila's body.

Kila convulsed as the amulet's power once again coursed painfully through her body. For what felt like the world's longest minute. Then she sagged panting. "Ow." She whimpered. That power left her body tingling, but she no longer felt the pain of the poisoning. She just felt really tired.
Sheryl picked Lark up from her seat before she fell out of it. "I think that is enough for Lark. She needs a break from all this. Heck, we all do." She muttered, taking the girl back to her cot with Devon.

Fredrick nodded in agreement with Sheryl as she carried Lark back to Devon who would no doubt be upset to find that Lark had pasted out while casting a spell and he was not there to catch her he was going to get an ear full but right now he didn't care he turned back to Kila pushing her hair back softly. "Rest." He asked

Kila nodded, already slipping. "Tell her... Thanks." She whispered. She sighed and let go, falling into sleep.
Devon looked over as Sheryl brought an unconscious Lark to his side. He tried to sit up again. "I knew something would happen."He started. Sheryl firmly pressed him down and cut them off. "She is fine and if you bust a stitch I'll make you fix it. You got stabbed through the chest, My Alpha." She said formally. "You are lucky you aren't dead. Be careful." She carefully placed Lark beside him and left him to swallow that.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie If Lark had been awake for that conversation she would have laughed at the look on Devon's face as Sheryl walked out but as it was Lark was out cold recovering from the drain that the spell caused her. She was slightly and even more fragile looking and it was clear now that the damage done to Lark hadn't been just mental it was physical with starches and bruises and it was clear that she hadn't eat in days.

Devon looked at the ceiling and back to Lark. Sheryl was right. He had given everything to get Lark back and nearly died. If he had died it would have been pointless. Lark looked gaunt and all too breakable in his arms. More than normal. She needed time to heal and recover. They all did. He needed to be wiser from now on. From them all.

Lark slept the rest of that day and didn't wake up until the morning and that was only because she had a nightmare, she still wasn't herself.

Devon was sitting on the couch, flipping channels with Lark beside him. It have been a hard few weeks. They both had to heal. Devon's was almost gone, thanks to his faster healing but Lark's had been more difficult. He tried to be there for her threw all the mental trauma as she recovered physically. He gave her shoulder a light squeeze. He did this periodically. He wondered when would be a good time to tell her about her parents. He wasn't sure how much longer they would wait.

Lark was in a depression while she recovered physically she wasn't as gaunt looking anymore but she was not her self still, she was more a shell of herself. Lark only eat a small amount of food at anytime, she cried a lot even in her sleep, she suffered nightmares, she didn't talk much and lastly she didn't draw in her books anymore. She just wandered out in the garden a lot and stare into space.

Devon finally turned the TV off and Lark had gone into herself again. He couldn't take it anymore, she couldn't keep retreating. Perhaps seeing the Glasses was what was best now. She had to go. "Lark, let's go out. I think there are some people you need to meet." he said.

Lark looked at Devon blankly for a moment as she processed what he was saying to her, the only people that she could possibly see this late in the day was the people in the hospital on the mentally disturbed ward. Was she really that traumatized that she needed to be admitted where she would be a long while if she even mentioned fairies and werewolves and she was a terrible liar so lying was out. "Your going to commit me aren't you?" She asked him in a matter of fact tone.

Devon blinked, confused for a moment. "Commit...?" He paled at the thought of putting her in some cold white sterile prison. "No! Lark, I would never put you in that place. You are not crazy." he said sternly. He grabbed her arm and had to pull her off the couch to get her to follow him to the car. He made a call, telling he was coming.

Lark struggled in Devon's grip as he was pulling her out the door without thinking things all the way through. It had snowed a week after they had gotten back, signaling the start of winter when the snow came she had been terrified she refused to come out of her room the first day and after that she has to a pause to gather herself before going outside . "Devon wait." She yelp as her socks touched snow and the cold wind hit her.
