Aysun blinked, wondering why Uncle Leon was so sad, but he didn't protest and hugged him back.
Nikolai smiled gently at Leon. "As long as you're done with this, it's okay." he said.
"Uncle Nikki said you weren't feeling good for a long time," Aysun said after a while and looked up at Leon with wide eyes. "So I made you a get well gift. Do you want me to get it?"

"I should hope so, otherwise I'd have to make sure your legs don't move." Nikolai said with a cunning grin and a mischievous glint in his eye.
Minutes later Aysun scurried back to the bed. It took him a while to climb back onto the bed, but when he did he smiled brightly at his Uncle Leon and handed him a piece of paper with a drawing on it. "I drew this for you. They're grapes because they're healthy and look like your hair. Do you like it??" he asked while staring at his uncle with big, excited eyes.

Smiling brightly at how much Leon liked the picture, Aysun cheerfully hugged him. "I knew it! I knew it!" he exclaimed.
Nikolai smirked at the sight then gently pried the boy off of his husband. "Yes, well, it's about time for dinner. Go ahead and rest, dearie. Aysun-darling and I will go out to pick something up. I'm thinking maybe Mexican food or Italian?" he mused while picking the boy up.
"Pizza!" cheered Aysun.
"Mmm, well I suppose that counts as Italian." Nikolai murmured.

Nikolai glanced away from Aysun's beaming face and the hand that touched him then to Leon for a brief moment. He grinned lazily at him, giving him a reassuring look, then turned to walk away. "Don't worry about us, dearie. I'll be sure not to fall asleep at the wheel this time. Ta-ta~!" he waved.

It took about half an hour before the two came back. True to his word Nikolai stayed awake, but that was also because Aysun had been so energetic. He was probably excited to get some time in with his uncles now that something supernatural wasn't happening.
As Aysun settled in his favorite spot (the middle of the couch) and turned the TV on, Nikolai climbed the stairs and peeked into the bedroom. "Leon darling, are you feeling any better?" he asked.

"Yes. I imagine he's looking for what to watch right now." Nikolai said as he stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. "Goodness me, did you just wake up from a nap? My, my, I cannot believe how simply adorable you look~!" he cooed as he delicately caressed Leon's cheeks.

"Ah yes?" Nikolai mused. He leaned in and gingerly pressed his lips against Leon's, giving him a long and passionate kiss for what seemed like forever. He leaned away, keeping their lips only an inch apart. "And just what exactly would make you feel manly, hmm?" he whispered, one hand delicately stroking Leon's chest.

"Oh? Then perhaps I'll have to take care of you." Nikolai whispered as he leaned in closer. Right before their lips could touch, however, he leaned away and pulled his hand back. "Ah, but we can't be having sweets before dinner, hmm?" he asked while winking deviously at Leon. "Are you strong enough to get up, dearie, or shall I help you? Ah well, I'm not sure I've the energy to help you, quite frankly."

"Ah yes, my list must be on there." Nikolai said absently as he made his way downstairs.
Aysun had sauce all over his face and bits of pepperoni and cheese all over his shirt, already digging into another slice of pizza as he watched The Emperor's New Groove. By the time Nikolai got to the couch with a napkin to wipe his face, Aysun laughed at a scene, getting more food all over him.
"Goodness, but you are a handful." Nikolai sighed, but smiled nonetheless.
