Elliot stayed at a distance while they browsed, adjusting the wrapped packages in his arms. Toys, and a large box filled with smaller boxes which held the individually wrapped accessory. When Nix cried out happily he walked over, Ipo on the child's other side.

"Those do look a bit much for Lily." Ipo murmured, glancing down the rest of the case, pointing. Nix seemed to have spotted the same thing and the hare laughed. "Well, three votes say yes! What say you?"

Silver eyes analyzed the bracelet, nodding. "That looks lovely."

"Can we buy it for her?" Ipo asked, red eyes glittering with hope.

White ears twitched before he responded. "Of course, excuse me." he called, man walking over. It was Elliot's own money, he could buy whatever he pleased. "This bracelet, Nix would you still like the set over there?"

Ipo had his face more or less pressed against a different case, looking at the ruby ring which was in it. He knew what he was going to buy his brother for Christmas, he had to save his paycheck. His brother would love this.

He nodded. "We're staying at the inn. Let them shop, get all their energy out now so they can sleep well, then the next two days will be regaining that energy before they return. We'll probably return at night, however." With a grunt the old man stood up, shuffling through his pockets and pulling out the keys. "These are for the inn, Elliot has his own. I'll go get a doctor so you can have a peaceful mind." he said with a smile. It was late, but just mentioning the prince and he'd have one immediately. "I agree. Were he a woman he'd be pregnant, but he's male, so let me get a doctor, Tsume." he said calmly. "You just get Lily to the the room and let him lie down on a proper bed."

Elliot nodded, pointing to the bracelet.

Ipo nodded, practically drooling on the glass. "it's so exuberant and beautiful, it would suit my brother well!" He exclaimed, turning to the child. "And it isn't a large gem either, but it shines brightly! Oh it's absolutely delicious to look at." he whined, ears quivering in pleasure as he continued to look at it.

Shaking his head at nix he spoke. "I've nothing else to shop for, I've bought clothes, toys, food," he listed. "If you'd like we could take one last walk up and down the shopping district to make sure we've missed nothing. I would love to show you the library, but neither of you seem interested." He said with a laugh.

"Let me help you carry these." Ipo said, taking some of the boxes from his prince, placing his pot on top.

It took a few minutes of convincing, but soon Henry had the doctor, an old one looking like he himself was ready to die any moment. "I've brought the doctor and have explained the system. Doctor, this is the prince's personal servant and his servant's lover. Please do your best." Henry lied. Tsume could get after him later, right now they just needed to see what was wrong with Leo.

Ipo nodded. "Yea, libraries aren't my thing. I'll take these." and took the gifts from the prince and Nix and started his walk back toward the inn.

Elliot took Nix's hand before deciding to pick her up instead. "You're as light as a feather. I'll just give you a quick tour of the library." he said, starting his walk before something caught his eye. "Look at that, it's snowing." and tilted his head up to look at the fluffy flakes slowly drifting down. This is absolutely lovely, the capital will look beautiful." And walked toward the library smiling.

Henry chuckled. "I'll be sure to keep it a secret." and waited outside the door patiently while the doctor examined Leo. Surprisingly it didn't take very long, which only worried the old man more. Hearing it was a pregnancy, he was positive his heart stopped. "She's pregnant." he said softly and almost questioningly. Calloused hands took the jar and looked at it, letting the doctor leave before looking at Henry. "I... I don't know." he whispered back. He almost didn't want to ask the next question. "Whose... child... is he carrying?"

The hare looked at the inn, going around to the stables and finding no one by the carriage and the horses tied up. "I wonder where they went." Oh well, the gifts were all placed inside the carriage before he locked it, throwing the key up and catching it before walking inside. "Good evening Henry!" he called, noticing the pale look on both their faces. That was weird, Tsume was pale. "Did something bad happen?"

Henry looked at the hare. They couldn't tell Ipo. "Leo has a mild stomach flu, probably from all the snacking he's been doing. He's just a little ill is all." Tsume was going to have to tell Leo this news. Henry was not going to do it. "have you eaten dinner yet Ipo? What about Elliot and Nix? myself and Tsume have already eaten, so go fill your belly and prepare some food for the prince and princess."

"All right, if you say so. I wonder what Lily ate." And started to walk off, glancing at the two older men behind him.

The prince nodded. "I can make it snow, freeze things, and can control the ice itself if it's there." he explained, walking up the steps, seeing his own heated breath in the air. Nix's nose was turning pink with cold, it was cute. "But as much as we love the snow, we must warm up." and opened the large door to the library, inside the small rumble of flames from the fireplace the only noise in the silent world. "Loslith is the center of education, so they have one of the largest if not the largest libraries in the country." he explained quietly. "The top floor is more fiction along with theories, philosophy, art and astrology. This bottom floor is more mathematical, historical and scientific.. In the back are scrolls that are being converted into books."

Henry frowned at Tsume. He may have been old, but the carriage driver was older. "Well it could have been yours." he said. "I do not know the activities of everyone." But it had been a stupid question, it was more than blatantly obvious that Elliot and Leo were a pair without officially declaring themselves as such. "It's hard to mistake pregnancy for something else." The old man muttered, gently opening Leo's door and peeking in at the sleeping figure, or more specifically, his stomach. "Well, you can tell him what the doctor said, then what you and I think. I'll have to go in there and promise him I won't tell Elliot. We can't tell Elliot, not until it's absolutely positive and we can see it." It was hard for Henry to accept this. A boy impregnated another boy. "Gives a whole new meaning to survival of the fittest." A terrible joke at a terrible time, but Henry really didn't want to accept this terrible and impossible truth.

"No, there are plenty on the second floor for fun." he repeated, setting her down so she could wander, quickly following behind. "I imagine it does get quite busy indeed. I would have attended the school in Loslith, and the list to enter was rather long, if I recall correctly." but because he was the crown prince his status in entering was top priority, however, his mother demanded to keep him at home. She won the argument. "Up the stairs, Nix." he redirected, climbing them slowly while keeping a watchful eye over her.

Henry shrugged. "I'm just as confused as you." he said, shaking his head and giving a deep sigh. He listened to Tsume try and make sense of it "if we're lucky it will self-abort." Henry could make even less sense of this then Tsume, and his ways made little leeway for a male pregnancy of all things. This was not the heir they wanted. It was unnatural, impossible, he could not be told to anyone else. Elliot was 3/4 human, his mom being half and dad being full, though Henry doubted this information would help Tsume's argument. Hell, Henry was a little worried because with that chance, their would either give birth to an entirely human child, or another mix. Either way, it had to self-abort, Leo's body, and his family history, could not support such an odd birth. how did one even impregnate a man?! "I'll go in with you."

And when the door was officially opened, Henry followed behind Tsume, closing the door and locking it for extra measure. When those blue eyes gazed questioningly at him he looked away. "The information will be... somewhat hard to swallow." he murmured, bringing the chair toward Tsume.

Elliot smiled to himself as the girl started to create a mountain around herself, moving and finding the philosophy and deciding to read that. He wanted to go down a bit further to the history, or downstairs to read the scrolls, but Nix was his main priority. "Well if you'd like you can take a few. Mailing back the books is perfectly acceptable, so take as many as you'd like." he said, flipping the pages lazily, trying to read something he liked. "We'll go through a few slowly, all right? Pick your three favorite ones and we'll start with those."

Henry sat down on the chair, nodding at Tsume to continue. The news was given slowly, but it still seemed to hit the Falian like a cannon. With a shake of his head he spoke. "Leo, I am an old man, I have tried many times to father a child so I have seen the symptoms multiple times." he explained. "Morning sickness, nibbling but not eating meals, on occasion you've unconsciously held your stomach. We were worried you were suffering some sort of food illness. But you're pregnant." the last part was murmured. "Doctors don't really lie..."

Elliot laughed softly. "What I want travels with me and is at home waiting for me." he said without much thought, walking back downstairs to check out the books. "So aside from those, there is little else I want. I'm a rather simple man to please." The librarian looked through the thick spectacles at the two strangers taking the books and the library cards in them.

"Name?"

"Henry Ashburn. We'll be mailing them back."

The other scoffed as though not believing him but handed them back over. "All right. Now leave, we're closing."

Elliot grinned, picking up the light princess with one arm and holding the books in the other. "How mean." he murmured, walking back out into the winter which was much colder then before.

Henry was almost tempted to go feel for a heartbeat as well, but knew it was something he himself could not feel. However as Leo figured out when he'd gotten the ability to be pregnant, the blush across his face told Henry what had happened after that commune. That was about two weeks ago, when their meal was being delivered outside the Falian forest, the one who brought it happily chippered on about how the trees were communing again and communed with Leo that day. The trees were powerful, to say the least. The grim look on the wolf's face told Henry that an self-abortion was practically gone. "No, I haven't told anyone and I won't. You can tell them when you're ready. It isn't my information to tell."

"Because being prince here, people treat me very differently then they would treat the citizens. This isn't like your home where everyone is family. Here, people know their place and keep their distance." the prince explained, kissing her head and walking through the snow. It must have been quite a sight, two white haired people, pale, one with silver eyes and the other ice blue, just walking through the falling fluff.

Henry gave a small sigh, sharing the troubles. He didn't know what Elliot would do either, there was so much wrong with this. How would Elliot even react? Henry thought he was going to have a heart attack, but what of the prince? Looking at Leo he nodded. "The child would be the firstborn heir of the crowned prince." he acknowledged. "Are you both really master and slave?" Henry had to admit, it hardly seemed that way anymore, but Leo's breakdown had him stand and walk over, placing a hand on the other's ankle, patting it. Tsume was closer to the other and the old man didn't want to reach over. Henry's heart was breaking, wanting to hold this poor boy until it was better, but it wasn't going to get better, it was going to get worse. Would Elliot be ashamed? "You cannot hide his child from him, Lily." but Tsume's response was much worse. Return to Falia? The child was still the heir! the small whisper made Henry look back, shocked but happy for his prince all at once. "It will be hard to leave the prince if you love him, and you are carrying his child, Leo." the first time he'd used the other's name. "You're carrying the child of the one you adore the most."

Elliot finally entered the inn, brushing the snow off Nix and himself as he walked down the hall, finding their room and moving to open the door, but the door was locked which surprised him, wiggling the handle again. "Odd," he started, but Ipo soon hugged his other side, prince nearly dropping the books.

"You can't go in there, Lily's sick." Ipo said softly. "Let's put your coats in Henry's room, then we'll go down and eat, okay? We can check on her when you both are warm, okay? Henry and Tsume even kicked me out, so she must be really sick." and led them away to the room he shared with the driver.
