Judus glared harder at the cloth, "How does flesh hold up under it? What happens when it and the person wearing it are hit with arrows? A full force blow?"

Violet was tempted to put it on and say, 'watch and see,' but sh figured showing her stomach would be considered improper, so she abandoned that idea. "The cloth is specially treated so that the force is dispersed around it. The wearer would feel the strike, but the pain would not be nearly as bad as getting hit without it, nor would he or she be injured."

"well, the pain would be greater too, but besides some bad bruises, the force should be dispersed enough that it wouldn't break anything," Violet said.

The young man down the table had bright eyes, and a sharp glare. He was almost visibly planning something.
Judus nodded, "Our first order will be upwards of five thousand... I want to equip our soldiers before we offer it to the public..."

Our nation having just gone through a war, we're still very capable of defending our boarders and even going out of country to take over someone else's palace to insure our people's safety." Judus said using the royal 'We'.
