Tolin

"Well, I did. But at the moment it may no longer be fully functional." The field had changed a lot. Unfortunately, it seemed as if Tolin had lost both of his Knights and perhaps quite a few Pawns. "The Tribe of Everlasting Balance was going to form the brunt of the army. I was planning on mobilizing the legendaries to acquire the spare pendants before proceeding to lure a few elite out. It would have been a risk, but if we could claim a few we would stand a fair enough chance in an all-out war if we gathered all of the guilds." If they managed to knock a few down, then the Guild would act as a small army of expendable soldiers. The Tribe would be support firepower to help make openings and the Legendary pokemon would be the ones to take the advantage.

"Something changed. I don't know what, but something called them to attack. The Tribe was likely struck as well, but I'm not sure." Lady Neon wasn't certain, and other things were borrowing his attention. Not to mention he needed Moonfall in order to enter, and he was unconscious for the time being. "I was hoping to keep them off of the guilds and the tribe until we had managed to take a few of them down and stand a chance. At this point, we'll simply have to hope that they act poorly. They decided to take an obvious offensive action and if they continue to make coordinated attacks we don't stand a chance." If they moved in groups of two or three, they didn't stand a chance. Sure, if it was two they might win, but not without casualties. And they couldn't afford casualties.

He leaned his head back slightly and closed his eyes before continuing, choosing to ignore Tempest's surprise. "The only method we have to increase our fire power at this point is to claim the sword or use the pendants. If we can claim the sword the rest will become child's play. Unfortunately, it's hidden away within the Tower, so the risks far outweigh the benefits." And using the pendants was dangerous; that went without saying.

Rev

Crossing his arms, Rev closed his eyes.
"It wont be as simple as common war tactics. When you're dealing with the Elites, it never is..." He muttered.
Opening one eye, he glanced over at Solaris.
He reached up with a claw, grabbing his scarf and pulling it down, revealing a rather disturbing sight.
The Zangoose's entire bottom jaw seemed to be burned away, leaving only bone and a bit of dead flesh.
There was no sign of any kind of attempt from the body to heal the area.
"I've been dealing with the Elites far longer than any of you. I'll simply leave it at that, for now," Rev said, replacing the scarf to its original position.
"I'm not an expert on these pendants, but... Let's just say, your evil Lopunny is a matter I've been aware of for a while. If she has your sword, I think we can expect worse things than what's already happened. Being who she is, and where she came from, a weapon with that power is definitely in the wrong hands. We need some way to get that sword. However, my estimate would be the only Pokemon, if any at all, who know of any weaknesses to exploit to get that sword would be an Elite. From my experiences, though, none can be trusted fully. Not even an ex-Elite."

Solaris---Ivan---Tempest

Solaris jumped in surprise at the Zangoose's face and then immediately dipped his head, ashamed at himself for doing so.
So Rev had fought the elite before? Well, at least they had some insight now but if Tolin's battle plan was ineffective then how would they manage to fight with minimum losses.
They needed that sword.
"Um, this is just a thought...but...if Alfred realized the Lopunny was with the Elite and managed to broadcast it to us...then why would he place a tracking device on her? We already know that the Tower of Origins is their base. Maybe he put it on the mirror instead?"
Tempest, the shock having worn off, spun in her chair to face the Espeon. Though she was not clear on what this 'sword' was she was aware of the predicament with the Lopunny.
"Never thought I'd say this, but Solly has a point..."
"If I may interject." Ivan dipped his head into the room, sitting where Desmond had been previously.
"I have yet to agree to assist in this. Until my associates get her I will make no decision."

Tolin

Tolin said. "Like I said, the plan was... At the moment, we're missing many of the necessary bits and pieces to pull that plan off. I'm considering alternate options. The sword is high on the list, but finding a way to manipulate the circumstances favorably will be difficult. There are some weaknesses, however." Of course, that was something to discuss much later once matters had been sorted out. It was impossible to formulate a strategy without finding out what their resources were.

That being said, Solaris had a good point. "...It would be nice if that were true. It would certainly give us a better chance of getting a hold of the sword."

There were, of course, other things to deal with. Tolin immediately stepped over to Ivan and held the end of his scythes together while bowing slightly with his eyes closed. "My apologies. I do not mean to act presumptuous, but I do have a request. As I am now the only member of Rebirth who is of sound mind and body, I ask that you allow me to take Alfred's place in the discussion. We're good friends and we were working towards the same thing, so I believe I can facilitate you better than most." Lucinda outranked him, but the idea of her being of "sound mind" the moment she arrived in the hospital was simply implausible.

Rev

"I'm not very savvy on this modern technology..." Rev said gruffly, crossing his arms.
"This tracker... I assume this is a device used to locate things. Maybe we should check where it says to go. If it is anywhere where one wouldn't assume the sword would normally be, we could probably assume it's on the Lopunny, and not the sword."
He gently scratched the fur on the sides of his arms.
"Just a small suggestion, I'm not saying it will be correct. After all, if the Legendaries don't agree to assist us..."
The Zangoose glanced at Ivan.
"... Then we may need to try everything we can."

Solaris---Ivan---Tempest---Aire---Neon

"Well, that would be our best bet if it is. If the tracker is on the sword then we can focus on trying to nab it when they take it from the tower. It won't just be the Lopunny that has it, Grandfather said that anyone with even a drop of legendary blood can weild the weapon and since it only harms legendary in it's blade form we won't be able to attack with our own legendary allies until we get it back. Too dangerous, especially if just one slice can damage you as badly as it did Alfred..."
Solaris seemed to be thinking somewhat more rationally now, probably the stress of the situation had caught up to him and made him drop his usual happy-go-lucky mood.
"So we try for the sword. If Serrin gets back with this chick whose good at scrying then she can tell us if it's on the blade or not. My tracking device emits a very specific electrical signal that nothing else does so if she uses the only other one I made to find our missing one then...problem solved."
The Pikachu spun back and forth in her chair, pausing to scratch at her bandages and wince every so often.
Her blue eyes narrowed through spectacled lenses at the Raikou as it regarded Tolin.
"...I'll make no actual decision until my team arrive, but you may feel free to inform me of the situation now. It'd be best if I explained it to them."
"You can inform me as well."
A slight, barely muffled, teleport sounded and Aire appeared somewhat down the hall from where the room itself was.
She began to stride forward just as Neon herself managed to appear.
'Ah, she's faster than me.' The Espeon thought with a twitch of annoyance before following.
"Tolin, this is erm...our friend's aquaintance." Mentioning Archer may not be the best idea at the moment, considering how pissed the Gardevoir was.
"Apparently he forgot to tell her of some important things."
Like, 'oh hey your son's alive' and 'btw I sealed the incarnation of pure evil inside him to negate the legendary blood that would kill him' and let's not forget 'yeah, we probably shouldn't have slept together. Should have warned you.'
That Mewtwo was an idiot.
The Espeon rose on her hindlegs behind the Gardevoir and pointed at her rapidly with her paws while mouthing 'Alfred's mother'. Of course, any idiot who knew the story would realize it. Better safe than sorry though.
Solaris starred wide-eyed at the Gardevoir.
Holy hell...

Tolin & Desmond & Serrin

Tolin nodded, taking just a moment to look at Aire. It was hardly a wonder that Archer had said they would recognize her. "Then. I'll start with this; until we can all come to an agreement, I ask that none of you repeat what you hear here. If you can't agree to that regardless of what I say, then Desmond will be more than happy to escort you out." He gave Solaris a stern glare. The Espeon seemed to have calmed down enough that he could actually be informed.

The moment everyone had denied their intent to leave or had been escorted out, he would start. "Simply put, the world is ending. Most of you should have heard something about the balance being in trouble, but I'm going to speak frankly. Suecra is dead in everything but name. Arceus can no longer move. The universe is about to collapse." Now, let's see, short version or long version...

Short one. "There are three gods. Arceus, Creaus, Suecra. Each one is a part of the original. Creaus is the 'light' and Suecra is the 'shadows' it cast. Arceus as we now know him is nothing more than a hollow judge, struggling to hold the world together. But he is nearly dead. He is restricted to his tower and his power has waned so far that he can no longer move. Suecra is too weak to manifest his power at all. The world, of course, needs that balance. If that balance dies, so do all of us."

He paused briefly, allowing for dramatic effect before continuing. "But we're not entirely without hope. The pendants contain his power, so if we gather them and return that power to him we stand a chance. About half the pendants are currently unattended and in the wild. The other half are held by a group of pokemon known as the 'Elite'. Each one is a demi-god; each one was made with a part of Arceus. Those were the pokemon that attacked the guilds. They are strong, but they are not immortal. Powerful, coordinated attacks can kill them before they even react. That strength is necessary if we wish to stand a chance. And with someone who can scry, we will have enough time to find the pendants in the wild."

Without Ivan and his friends, they were dead. They couldn't win the fight without them; there wasn't really a chance. Not even the smallest one.

Rev

Rev nodded, listening intently to Tolin.
He knew all about the Elites and about the three gods, but he was never solid on details when it came to Arceus.
So that's what these pendents were for...
"I see... Do we have any of these pendents within our own grasp? Or will we have to track down each and every one?"
His eyes glanced over at Aire.
So this was the mother of the Guild Master of Rebirth.
Her daughter-in-law should be happy to see her.
Maybe...

Solaris---Ivan---Tempest---Aire---Neon

"That sounds like a problem, but it is not currently my concern. Now that I know the situation I am going to go inform my team and we'll decide from there whether or not to help."
The whole 'we'll lose if you don't help' thing didn't seem to phase the Raikou as he stood and quickly dashed off.
Solaris watched and gave a pout, he really hoped Ivan would join them. They needed every legendary that would be able to assist.
Neon seemed to think the same thing as she glanced over to Aire with her own frown.
Well, she knew Archer. It couldn't hurt to ask.
"You wouldn't happen to know and legends or semi-legends that could-"
"No." The Gardevoir said suddenly, answering with a quick and snappish tone. "I despise legendary."
And there went that idea. Neon wrinkled her nose as having the other psychic raise her voice at her, but the Espeon did no respond aside from a slight nod. Instead she turned to the Pikachu.
"Tempest, does the CD say anything abo...oh..."Tempest has fallen asleep, arms folded over the keyboard and her tail coiled around her feet.
Apparently the exhaustion from her confrontation with that Elite Skarmory had finally kicked in.
"Whatever the next course of action, you'll not be getting any help from me until I've finished other business. I'll be outside for now."
Aire said suddenly, turning with her arms folded behind her back and strolling from the room.
She paused at the doorway momentarily befor glancing back in towards Tolin. "You seem to know the most about all this nonsense, I have questions for you later."
It was a warning of sorts, Arceus knows what would happen if the Scyther couldn't answer them.
Once in the hall she gave a slight hissing command, "Javs!" and waited out in the hall for apparently whoever she had just called.

Solaris waited until things had quieted down before raising a paw. "Um...who was that?"

Tolin & Desmond & Serrin

"Do as you must, but do remember. The balance won't put itself on hold." Hopefully Aire's private business would be brief. They didn't have a month to wait for her to wrap up her private affairs. They didn't even have a week. If she could not help soon, then someone else had to be found. And quickly.

"She's an ally, Solaris. That's all." It was obvious who she really was. Anyone with eyes in their head could recognize that she was Alfred's mother, or at least related to him somehow. But she seemed to be much like her son, in a way. Intensely private. It wouldn't do any good to oust her. "Desmond. Circle around the city and scan for nearby sources. After that, track down Ivan and inform him that we shall be holding a meeting in the Guild Exchange a few days from now. Serrin, do the same for the guild masters. I'll confirm an exact time tomorrow morning. If they're concerned about another attack, tell them not to worry. They will just think we're scrambling to try and figure out what happened." He looked at Solaris. "Solaris. You are not to speak a word of this to anyone. The situation will be explained at the meeting, including the status of our enemy. Until then, this conversation didn't happen. We can't afford a panic." God forbid he tells someone and he's overheard, or he doesn't explain it properly or something. The information he had could send the entire continent into a panic if it managed to get out.

Desmond and Serrin both gave a sharp nod and left. The former simply disappeared while the latter walked out of the building.

Now then... "I have business to attend to. I'll be back tonight, but until then there's a few people I need to talk to. In these few days, I'm going to see if I can't level the playing field." First thing's first... off to Alfred's room. He didn't know if the pendant had been taken or not. But much more importantly, he needed to talk to Lucinda... even if she was fairly likely to try and kill him at the moment.

Javs

A high pitched, though quiet screech sounded within the group and faded out the same second it came; a Teleport of sorts. In it’s blurry cooldown it left a tall, slender black and white dressed male Gardevior to hover behind Aire. He didn’t touch the ground, but rather remained just barely off it with the use of his psychic.
He never did really take to walking.
He remained silent and merely moved his emotionless purple eyes around his surroundings. He had no need to speak; his Psychic would be detected instantly. He could care less about the others, given his curiosity passed.
He finally looked back at his superior. The female’s anger didn’t seem to faze him in the slightest despite him being well aware of it.

“This is quite a bit you’ll get yourself dragged into.”
The male smirked slightly, leaning forward in the air as he rested his head against his arm. A position like that seemed rather uncomfortable without a chair or desk to rest your elbow on.
He’d been listening in on the conversation all along through Aire herself though he didn’t know names like Alfred or anything about these so-called Elite.
That’s what happens when you live in a cave, as he would refer to it.

Clearing his throat, Rev took a step back.
"Well then... If we've discussed all there is to discuss, I'll be headed back to my Team's room. Please contact me if anything comes up," He said.
With a sharp nod, the Zangoose spun on his heels and left.

Tolin

It didn't take him long to find Alfred's room. It should have. He should have had to talk to Lucy, Vito or Lloyd to find out. Giving out where he was was an incredible security risk.

Fortunately, this wasn't his (or Alfred's) first time in the hospital. The hospital staff knew who he was and they knew who Alfred was. One of the advantages of sticking your neck out more often than you should is people started to know who you were. So it didn't take much convincing to manage to find out the exact room.

He had two goals in mind. First was the status of the pendant. The second, yet much more important goal, was to confirm his status. Lucinda was the leader of the guild now. They needed to talk. Her position was important, even if she likely hated it.

With a deep breath, he tapped on the door.

Solaris---Tempest---Aire---Neon

Neon kept herself occupied trying to wake Tempest and coax her back to her own room to sleep. The Pikachu muttered something obscene and refused to move, leaving the tribal Espeon no choice but to teleport her.

Solaris is derping and following Tolin for some reason. Probably so he can be used as a pink, furry shield in the off chance Lucinda decides to kill the Scyther.

The female Gardevoir said nothing at first, reaching a hand into her coat to withdraw her cigarette case and remove one.
"Don't give me lip. I know what I'm doing. You'll have to contact Mirelli and let her know we're closing the bar until the damn world is saved. The girls won't be happy..."
