Ace choked slightly on his tea. "Cute, you say?" Ace felt his cheeks become hot. "Well," he straightened his posture in attempt to look professional. "Th-thank you," he said, his cheeks burning hotter. "My oh my, I haven't received a compliment like that since the last Ace of Spades." Ace chuckled off his flattery as best as he could.
"Also," he said, getting off the subject that caused his heart to race madly, "I understand why you do not wish to help Suits. Some of us have resorted to behavior barbaric enough to earn us a bad reputation. Well, I suppose anyone who has become an Ace has had to do something barbaric to earn their place."

Marcie just snickered "Don't get all exited over a little compliment, I say that to all of my costumers, is part of the sales strategy, and I really don't care about the barbaric suff you might do, is more of a 'there is no real profit' on helping a suit kind of deal" she was kind of lying, there where other reason why not to help the suits but why explain? she just leaned back on the couch and sipped on her tea "This previous Ace guy was very important to you was he not?" She said remembering Ace had also mentioned him before.

I'm better than icecream.Patches began to wander around the castle, in search of Maria. In his moment of disgust he had forgotten where Maria had hidden.
Eventually Maria's thoughts about the suits had faded, leading onto less serious and more random things. Her lips were curved into a smile still. Eventually she began to hum a faint melody.  Even then, I still lost to icecream. You

Ace leaned back, memories of the last Ace resurfacing. "Very important to me." He finished off his tea, crunching the last bit of sugar. He smiled a very sorrowful smile. "I loved him . . . and he loved me." He kept his gaze away from Marcie, knowing that killing his lover wasn't going to improve the reputation of the Suits much. Still, she did say that it wasn't the actions of the Suits that turned her away from them.

Nobody waked up as he hear Maria's humming "Ah... I am sorry... I fell asleep" he said blushing but expecting the darkness might cover it up for him

"I am sorry" she said understanding that If he had turned in to an Ace it was because of the previous Ace's death "Quiet like Romeo and Juliet, only you are still alive, maybe you can find a new Romeo" she was not really concerned but it seemed improper to not offer some encouragement after the imprudent question she just made.

"No need to feel bad," Ace said, forcing a smile. "I chose to take his life." He took in a deep breath, shaking off the memories and sudden sadness that hit him.
"Romeo and Juliet, I've read that story and a lot of Shakespeare's other tragedies," Ace said, putting his finger to his lip. "You suggest I get a new Romeo." Ace turned to Marcie.
"Dear Marchy, people die . . . but real love is forever."

Marcie smiled "Love.... love is but an idea, ideas can't cry or smile, I can't hug or kiss an idea, I believe in attraction, but I don't know about love, love can't die but as you yourself discovered people can, and is not love that you miss but Ace" so she might have been a little overboard but the whole idea of love was not yet engraved on her system, she liked Matt, She liked this Guy, she had liked her previous boyfriends, but she was not about to cry over anyone.

"Hmm, I suppose it's a matter of personal opinion," Ace replied, swirling the remaining liquid around in his cup. "Marchy, you'll know love one day. You'll feel it in their kiss, in their embrace, when your heart tells you that you cannot live without that person, and that you will take a bullet for that person. He took my bullet for me . . . not willingly though." Ace remembered his lover's last words as if he had said them the day before.
"I miss him, yes," he continued, placing a hand over the left breast of his jacket, "And whenever I think of him, my heart still races like it did when I was in his presence."
Ace's hand tensed. "Still, I shove those feelings behind. This is a world where you must fight to survive, and holding onto sentimental feelings will hinder your ability to fight. In my position, that will mean certain death."

Marcie laughed, He could not be serious "Why, you speak so well of love but all I am hearing are physical reactions, you wouldn't restrain yourself from killing your lover yet you expect me to believe he took that bullet for you? suicide would had been more fitting to your version of love, I am afraid am not a very romantic person, and as you say sometimes you must 'shove your feelings behind' to survive, or to comply with your orders" she sipped the last bit of her tea and smiled at Ace "But I must be boring you with all of this chit chat, you are a busy man after all"
