Genin
-------------- Arcus strode confidently onto the training field. His head was held high and his chest was slightly thrust outward. Today is a day for the Aburame to remember...today...I master my craft. He thought confidently. He walked by Nagasi, paused, and nodded to her, to show he acknowledged her there. He continued walking however. He hadn't really looked over the scroll very well and he didn't know if he'd be doing something that could endanger others. He kept his distance from everyone. Alright boys and girls, we've got work to do. He said, seemingly to the air. His bugs stirred in his body, launching out directly from his torso and passing through the mesh shirt he'd recently acquired. To onlookers, it would appear as those a black cloud was slowly generating from not only his chest, but also his sleeves. After a few seconds, he stopped releasing bugs. The large cloud in front of his was clearly enough for any jutsu he learned. They dispersed and began circling him, lazily, some alighting on his hair, a few on his shoulders, while the rest, simply fly around him, looking at everything. He stretched and cracked his neck and shoulders to get loose. Then he opened the Aburame scroll he was now the guardian of. ((yea Orchid is saying i cant learn higher rank genjutsu anyways, but she seems a little unsure about that so i am waiting for a higher confirmation. If necessary though, Nagisa will "forget" mushi dama until later, since it is useless right now anyways without a system in place. I really hope there is some way i can learn higher rank genjutsu though.

((okay VC ruling is only 3 jutsu above ones rank, and it is only taijutsu that you cant learn above your rank... so ill just get rid of mushi dama and leave one slot open for now.))

-------------- Arcus scanned the paper until he found the jutsu he wanted. He spread his arms wide and rolled his shoulders then began to focus his thoughts on his bugs. They instantly responded by all freezing in mid-air around him. He then gathered them in front of him in a large ball Smiling, as he worked, Arcus swished his hands back and forth like a conductor, trying to get a feel for creating a shape out of his bugs. The first thing the made was a large, black glob. It annoyed him that he'd never bothered trying to make shapes other than balls. With a little more concentration, he managed to form out of his bugs, a large black fist, which he then used to punch the air around him. Once he'd figured out how shape and consistency were a key factor in changing the shape...it was pretty easy to figure it out. He went from fist, to sword, to bucket, with more or less ease. When he was done, he grinned at his bugs. We're just getting started guys. He said to their dismay. so lazy sometimes...ah well, as long as they get it done when it counts. He thought as he looked back to consult the scroll. Sarukin grinned at Nagisa. She was a pretty smart genin, along with the other genin in the village. While Sarukni had taught her techniques that would be useful, he still needed to teach her techniques that could actually combat other genin. "OK, Nagisa, time to move on to the offensive genjutsu." Performing handsigns, Sarukin maintained eye contact with Nagisa. Cloud formed near Sarukin, slowly transforming into a clone. It looked more or less exactly the same as Sarukin, having the same height and appearance. Sarukin kicked the clone, his face still grinning. However, when his foto touched the clone, it didn't block or counter or even disappear. The kick went through the clone, which was now separating. In a manner of seconds, it recombined, still looking exactly as it did a few seconds ago. It was as if nothing happened.
"This, Nagisa, is a cloud clone. It is very useful for distractions and overexertion of your opponent. While this clone cannot attack, it can still move at the speed of the user. To perform this jutsu, you must focus on your chakra that represents cloud, not lightning. This clone is basically a cloud, not being able to be physically injured. Test it out yourself."

another bunshin? Nagisa was about to protest, using the fact that she already knew two bunshins, but then he kicked it... and nothing happened. also unlike her other bunshin this one could easily keep up with her speed. As always, she went through the seals real quick for practice. She then concentrated on her chakra like she had on the previous genjutsu. This time she would need to make the clone without giving it any actual form...
After she formed her chakra she poured it into a vessel beside her, this time without any raiton chakra, but after a moment or two she still couldn't get it into it's form. She was so used to working with giving it a form, that it was difficult to make a clone any other way. then she thought some more. Like a cloud... her mind remembered the time she was put under Kumo yotogi, and remembered what it felt like to be a cloud. while concentrating on that empty formlessness, she attempted to push her form onto the chakra, and after a moment she smiled. "I guess i am really beside myself!" She had to say it, she had wanted to say it since she first learned a bunshin. This one had a whole new set of uses from the others, and she knew she would become quite used to using it.

-------------- Arcus rolled his head and hopped around. He continued moving his hands as if he was conducting a symphony. He scanned to scroll which some of his bugs were holding for him, and found the jutsu he wanted next. He called his bugs in front of him and continued to conduct as he tried to figure out how to do the jutsu. He walked over to a tree at pointed at it, his bugs stared at him curiously. dammit, erm....attack the tree. His bugs took off, smashing themselves against the side of the tree. Arcus was left wide eyed at what he saw. He instantly commanded them to stop. Ok, lets try this again. He thought sort of nervously. His bugs had minds of their own, but overall, their doings were determined by his will. They are perfectly ok with killing themselves and he tried to remember that as he told them to once again attack it, but not so directly. They launched themselves at it again, not crashing like they had before, but still just ramming against. the tree. Again he commanded them to stop. He rescanned the scroll. Noticed the part he'd forgotten. The key to the jutsu was the rotation. That is where all the extra draining power came from. He stared intently at the tree, then pointed again, This time trying to make them rotate They flew over to the tree and began to ram into it again, but not directly, instead the tiny insects smashed into the tree at angles so as to bounce off after a second of impact. He watched them carefully, making sure they didn't hurt themselves as they rebound of the tree. Once he saw that they were fine, he speed up the spinning motion until his bugs formed a small cyclone, all glancing off the surface of the tree and continuing to fly around it. When he'd done it long enough to be confident that he could use it in battle, he slowed them down and made them come to him. They alighted on his hands, shoulders and hair and cheered for themselves. wait a second guys...no cheering. You're not done yet. He thought to them as they began to crawl back inside him. They all froze and stared at him from their perches. He smiled as he looked back at the scroll that some of the bugs were still holding in the air. Mushi Taifu - Bug typhoon. And if that someone isn't an npc...than someone has to have given 'them' the scroll. The only limitations are those of chakra, and amount you can learn is like...3 )) Chakra 31/31

Smiling, Sarukin patted Nagisa on the head. "Hehehe good job, Nagisa. Now, time to get learn one more genjutsu. I gotta say that this one is also useful, not only in battle but in the other situations." Grabbing a rock, Sarukin held it in front of Nagisa, his eyes intent. With a little focus, the rock slowly began transforming, Sarukin using genjutsu to alter the appearance of it. Soon, the rock present in Sarukin's hand wasn't a rock anymore, now changed to appear as a cookie.
"You see, using this jutsu, you can fool your enemy into thinking an object is something else. For example, what might seem like a simple rock on the floor in the eyes of your opponent can, in actuality, be a trap, a weapon, or an explosion bomb. While this jutsu cannot work on targets bigger than the adult male, it can be very useful in many cases, including battle. You can disguise a kunai as a bird, change a shuriken to a leaf, a branch to a sword, and of course," Sarukin let go of the illusion, the "cookie" being transformed back into a rock. ", a rock to a cookie. To perform this genjutsu, you must choose out an object, any object within your range of sight. You then picture another object and release your chakra into that. You have to believe that you can actually change the size and appearance of the object. After that, it'll be fairly easy to perform, and you can hold the illusion as long as you want."

((stupid real life and its getting in the way of my important training...))
Nagisa looked around to find something that she could change, but didn't find anything that caught her eye, but then seh thought of a good use for such a jutsu. Without bothering to grab anything, Nagisa performed thenecessary seals, and focused her chakra, using her bunshin training to get used to making images. She pictured a flute, and tried to maintain that image in her mind.

After the image of a flute was strongly engraved in her vision, nagisa reached behind her and grabbed her Kodachi, and began to build her chakra around it similar to the way she molded the bunshin. She imagined the empty form of a cloud, and wrapped it around the kodachi like a light mist. The Kodachi began to lose it's original form, and slowly, it began to blur into the image of a flute. She felt the chakra lightly brush against her hand, like a light breeze. She then drew the kodachi to view her work. for a moment she was convinced she could breathe into it and a beautiful sound would be produced.

Sora skipped into the training field, humming with a smile on her face. Spotting Nagisa, Arcus, and Sarukin not too far away the girl dashed to where the group was. "Hey! Hey!" she cheered, "Are you guys training?".

-------------- Arcus was trying to figure out the best method of practicing the next jutsu in the scroll. He'd never tried to track people before. Dropping bugs to hear conversations was one thing, but if they left, and the bug wasn't on them he wasn't going to be able to find them again. well I'm about to change that, now aren't I? he thought to himself as he finally came up with an idea. He rose his hands once more and his bugs took off. The flew around him in little circles until he willed them to stop. They froze in mid-air and at his mental command, lined up in front of him. His fingers danced lazily as the bugs slowly formed the shape of 10 kunai. Gotta work on speed. I suppose that will come with practice. He was now prepared to try out his new jutsu. Nagisa re-sheathed her "flute" and wave back at Sora. "hey! you feeling better?" She seems as cheerful as normal, but she was pretty tired earlier. NAgisa wondered if she pushed hertoo hard during the mission.
