Takiko sighed as she slowly sat up. The question he asked must have been rhetorical. "As ready as I'll ever be..." Takiko muttered truthfully. She did not want this day to begin, she just wanted to live happily with him, without war and death and everything else that they would have to face.

Crow watched her a moment. He sighed, probably the wrong thing to say. He sat up along with her and wrapped his arms around her, scooting himself over in the process. "It'll be alright...."He said quietly. "They won't get us, I won't allow it...."He said quietly to her while tenderly kissing her neck. "I have a few things to do, I will return to you later alright? I know where you'll be at all times so leave if you wish, and be safe...."He said quietly while standing. He reclothed himself, then walked out.

Takiko sadly sadly watched him leave, hoping to be able to watch his return in one piece. The frightened vampire decided to dress herself. After putting on all new clothing from the previous night, Takiko kept her sword in her lap. The blade glinted in the moonlight, as she sat in the farthest corner, waiting for any sign of Crow or any danger.

dark shadow death reaper I lunge at Neveah_of_Water miss and throw a knife at Neveah_of_Water from behind and lunge again (( It's just neveah and sorry comp crudded out...)) Neveah neveah sidestepped the attack from behind. and circled around with a small dagger taking a swipe at the outside of his leg.

Takiko heard fighting not far from where she was hiding. There had not yet been bloodshed, or else she would be able to tell exactly who and what was fighting. Takiko forced herself even farther in the corner, her grip around the hilt of her sword tightened. Every second that passed without Crow by her side seemed like an eternity.

Crow walked slowly into the Residential Area, his mind set on the boy he met earlier today. He blinked, Takiko's scent was in the air. So she didn't move at all from where she slept with him. With a small smile, he headed to her.

Takiko had herself backed into the corner. Every moment that passed she hoped no one would pick up her scent, except Crow that is. Takiko had been able to smell a strong stench of death in the air. The same smell she always got when plenty of vampires were around. Takiko was now standing, even though her shaking knees did not want her to. Usually, she was not afraid. When it came to fights, to facing death, she did not worry about herself. It was only Crow she worried about. It seemed her entire body was shaking from fear that they had found and killed Crow.

Crow made his way into the building and walked down the hall. He appeared in the doorway where Takiko was, he saw her huddled up. He rushed over to her, kneeling down infront of her. "What happened? Did someone find you?"Crow sounded like he was in a panic.

All she could do was shake her head. A flow of relief rushed through her for a moment when she saw Crow, alive. The moment he kneeled in front of her, Takiko dropped herself and basically tackled him. She just needed to have her arms around him, feel his warmth again. It was clear Takiko was actually frightened, with goosebumps and shaking limbs, she managed to explain herself.
"N-no... But... I can sense them... There's vampires all over the place... I don't know what they were doing, but I was afraid that they were searching everywhere... I was more afraid that they had found you... Oh, I'm so glad you're okay!"
((I hope you don't mind me having her talk about some NPC's or something. Since there aren't many roleplayers around at the moment...))

Crow blinked, keeping himself from falling over once Takiko tackled herself onto him. He held her nonetheless and listened to her speak, "None of them spotted you right?"Crow asked her quietly, shoving his nose into the air. He could catch the scent of several vampires. He narrowed his eyes and growled low.

Takiko let out a soft shuddering breath, still trying to calm herself. "No..." Once she felt more relaxed in his arms, she continued, "No... I remained here, waiting for you." Takiko had made sure that the past few hours without him were very silent. Not a sound came from Takiko, hoping if she remained quiet, they would want to go away, even if her hopes were unrealistic.

Crow sighed, holding her close. He stroked a hand over her hair, closing his eyes in thought. "Takiko, we're going to have to leave this place soon....We'll return here every once in awhile and at least see if we can find any time for peace...."He looked out the window, staring at the moon. "I'm here now though....You are safe now...."Crow whispered into her ear, kissing her neck tenderly.

"I wasn't worried for my safety." Takiko looked him in his eyes, her cold hand gently stroked his cheek before she continued. "I was worried about you." It was clear in Takiko's eyes, the way she looked at him, she cared more about him than she did herself, she truly loved him.

Crow lightly blushed and smiled. He placed a hand over her's, "And I was worried about you....Not a moment passed by of me not thinking of you...."Crow said quietly. He closed his eyes for another moment, "Takiko....I'm sorry I left you alone for so long...."Crow said quietly.
